I went to the website because I didn't want to talk to anyone. I wanted to get an idea of what I could get insurance wise, not commit to anything. I was told I would be able to(I wasn't). Ever since I... See more

It seriously beyond disgusting the commericals (even more disgusting is this bogus website started advertising at all) this bogus website boldface lies to people saying there are plans for under $50 a month. I highly doubt the plans are comprehensive let alone true at all. If you enter some of the lowest income numbers it's still hundreds of dollars a month for any plan from this website. Nobody is buying it...in more ways then one.
Not helpful or affordable in the slightest
Not helpful at all.
I can't even afford the health insurance plan offered by my company which was why I opted out when I first got hired in February. My Medicaid coverage from when I was unemployed will expire at the end of this year, so now it seems my only options are to pay $1000 per month with a $9000 deductible with my company's insurance (which, again, I can't afford) or go with this Marketplace plan, the cheapest of which is $1000 per month with an $18000 deductible. ]
Absolutely terrible ad campaign which promises 4 out of 5 families will qualify for an affordable plan. In what world is a $1000 per monthly premium with an $18000 deductible affordable? My family is being penalized for me finding a job.

Worst experiences in customer service with representatives who will actively lie about coverage dates and policy. Thanks for nothing Brenda. Wish I voiced my displeasure more while on the phone
INFURIATING EXPERIENCE
Savings are very beneficial but the process of obtaining healthcare with them is excruciating! Every single time I call in, I get completely differing information and have had to spend HOURS following up on their issues. Not only that, they provide a customer service # within the portal that appears to be their # but is actually HealthSherpa (a for profit private sector company) without disclosing it. 98% of the employees I have spoken with have been totally incompetent and uncaring. This whole process has been infuriating!
Where do I start
Where do I start? Son with bipolar, adhd, ocd etc. Every year for the past 5 years his “tax credit” has dropped. Now it’s down to zero. Only because he lives with us. Otherwise he would be on the street. He can’t hold a job yet despite what their reviewer says. He has good days and they caught him on one. Now we’re deep in debt from paying the premiums and medications. Plus his psychiatrist told us to pay out of pocket (which we did) for ketamine treatments because he’s treatment resistant. Obviously that didn’t work. Deeper and deeper. That’s not help. Why do some people get help and others do not. This whole system is wasteful and doesn’t help the ones that need it. The people that are supposed to help pick a lan are just trying to get you off the phone to get to someone else so they can get paid for each person they “help”. It’s all a big scam!
uneducated inept workers
In short the marketplace cannot figure out how to apply my tax credit for 4 days, this has caused my health insurance to cancel this week, very scary since i now have organ problems and cannot fill any prescriptions also had to cancel may doctor appointments, they gave me a tax credit of $872 per month but a glitch happened where the tax credit wasn't applied for 4 days causing my premium to be $925 for that period instead of $84 which it should be, i've tried for 2 months and filing multiple appeals but no one there can figure out how to apply the credit for 4 days, i'm scared especially with this pandemic.

Worthless waste of taxpayers funds that taxpayers are allowed to know about. All this site is, is a head count tool so all the DC lawbreakers can say how many people have coverage, and drive anyone that has had to use it insane. why would my age be different than one year from the previous year? if this is such a great creation then should it not know what my information is? this is the IRS they know everything else about us.
Slow, Repetitive, Ridiculous questions
The website is very slow, keeps asking the same questions every year (Date of birth, social, race, gender). That does not change year after year!!! And if you want to edit something you have to go back and answer the same 500 questions again!
It is the worst site a multi billion dollar investment has ever created.
No wonder people are upset.
