Healthunlocked- Combative remarks
Regarding the combative remarks directed at me about my post regarding HU, let me just say a few things. First, I don’t call myself anything other than my real name, so get your facts straight. Secondly, I have not been on that site for years, I only joined, a couple of months ago in April. So again, know what you’re talking about. Also, I am not the only person who ever posted a negative comment about HU. The administrators do not do their jobs and there are people who derive pleasure from bullying other people and making insulting remarks. You can believe what you want and everyone is entitled to their own opinion. However, it is not appreciated that you call me names and attack me here on Trust Pilot. I was not treated fairly on HU, and I was targeted and discriminated against. That’s the truth. Believe what you want . perhaps you’re one of the lovely people that were in that click. I don’t know and I don’t care anymore. I’m done.
I WAS NEVER LUNA CHILD! KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT BEFORE YOU COME AT ME AGAIN. I NEVER JOINED HU FIVE YEARS AGO.
INSTEAD OF BEING A TOXIC HUMAN BEING AND FINDING IT NECESSARY TO CORRECT MY SPELLING, WHY DON'T YOU TRY BEING USEFUL AND DECENT? I'M NOT GOING TO CONTINUE THIS WITH YOU, BECAUSE THERE IS NO POINT TO IT. AND YES, I BELIEVE YOU ARE PART OF THE GROUP(CLIQUE) THAT IS OUTRIGHT NASTY TO PEOPLE. DOLPHIN AND HYPERCAT. PERHAPS YOU ARE ONE OF THEM. LIKE I SAID, I DON'T CARE ANYMORE. JUST STOP AND GO AWAY.

Health Unlocked is helpful to many people…
Health Unlocked is a supportive community always willing to share suggestions that are helpful. It's a wonderful place to get information from others with mental health issues. I would recommend anyone to give it a try. Have even mentioned the site to my health care providers.

I've been a member for years. Health Unlocked, along with professional help, dug me out of a big hole.
I've read the reviews. I see a couple that come from cyber trollers trying to look like victims.
Don't believe everything you read. Some people enjoy fabricating

Thank you hu and for the community on the anxiety and depression site ,I find the support valuable ….ss
Very useful.
It's great to be able to see what other people have encountered in their illnesses and how they've combated their symptoms. It can sometimes take you down a tangent that you've not thought of before and offer relief in non medicinal ways.
Not really there for people
*edit* I happened again. I think there are people reporting posts of others and some mechanism deletes accounts after a number of reports. I don't know, but I am done here. My suggestion: go elsewhere.
I was (still am) in a really bad shape and gave this website a go. The posts on it were something of what I was going through. So I created an account and posted on myself. Without giving any personal information, I posted how I felt, which isn't good.
I did get some reactions, but it felt like digital shoulder taps.
Then, one morning I was a bit surprised there weren't any replies in my mailbox. I opened the website and I was logged out. Okay, no problem. I'll just log back in! Account not found... what the f....?
I found a notification of a reply on my post in my mailbox. I clicked on it and it said: post deleted.
Apparently my account and posts are just deleted. No communication, no reason. It's probably normal to do this to people who trust a platform build for people with depression (where I was posting).
"HI! you are in a depression? You want to cry out your heart? Tell people you feel all alone? Thanks! Now get the f* out of here" and that's just how this feels.

Forum dominated by fixed views.
I joined Healthunlocked when I was diagnosed with Epilepsy and Polymyalgia Rheumatica in the summer of 2023.
To begin with I found the two forums gave me interesting and useful insights into my conditions and their treatment. I soon found, however, that the Polymyalgia Rheumatica forum (PMRGCA) was dominated by two individuals with very firmly held views on the management of the condition. Any alternative views, either from individuals or their healthcare professionals were routinely challenged and ridiculed, consultants who gave advice or who prescribed medication which did not meet with their approval were described as “#####s” (Trustpilot forbids the use of this insult in reviews). I felt this was very unhelpful and, when one lady asked them not to intervene on her thread because their posts were upsetting her she was criticised for rejecting their expertise. She never posted again.
My own experience of the condition did not appear to reflect their views and I sought support and advice from others whose position might be similar to my own. This was not allowed to go unchallenged by these two individuals and, after a snide remark from one of them I deleted my account. I had had enough.
I would like to suggest that Healthunlocked had a way of blocking individuals from seeing and commenting on one’s posts in the way that other social media platforms do. If that had been the case then I would still be a member. I have received useful information from the forums and I believe I have also made valuable contributions, however, due to the behaviour of these two individuals whose comments are often insensitive, insulting and, very possibly ill-informed, I have deleted my account and can no longer share experiences which might be useful to myself or others.
