I had purchased a one year subscription…
I had purchased a one year subscription to Heartbox. It was auto renewed without my permission. I tried to cancel on your site and it would not allow me to. I contacted Heartbox only to be told to go onto the link and cancel. I did not want to continue my subscription. So far, I have been charged over $50 USD for 1 month beyond my request to cancel and am about to receive another. Miscommunication and a lack of customer service, in addition to inexpensive trinkets from Scotland. I would save money purchasing Scottish items of my choice from Amazon.

Hi Linda, all of our plans automatically renew unless you choose to cancel them. This is on the subscription page. When you enter your payment details the date of your next payment along with the cost of the next payment and then reconfirmed again on your confirmation email.
The great thing about Heartbox is you are in complete control of cancelling and restarting your plan (you don't need to contact us to cancel your plan). You simply log into your Heartbox account, select your subscription and hit the button to cancel). This gives full control to our subscribers of being able to leave and rejoin at one click of a button. It also gives you the opportunity to give us feedback on any areas we can improve on if you wish to.
You can cancel you plan at any time, (including straight after you purchase your plan) if you would not like any renewal to be processed. This information is also shown in our FAQS on the website here: https://www.heartboxscotland.com/faqs/
I can see you contacted us after you plan renewed, and after our December boxes shipped. We are passionate about sending your authentic items from the very best makers and businesses from all over Scotland specially curated right here in Glasgow. With each box we try to showcase a different aspect of Scottish culture for you to know and love. I'm really sorry if you feel we missed the mark.
The team are always on hand to help if you have any problems in cancelling, we really do pride ourselves on our level of customer service so we are disappointed to hear you feel differently. I can't see any communication from you that you were having difficulty in cancel. A wee piece of Scotland in a box
Since visiting Scotland in August I am having a hard time letting go. What a wonderful feeling to get a wee piece of Scotland delivered to me once a month. I look so forward to receiving my parcel and always take a breath when opening so I can say I breathed some good Scottish air. The items are well thought out and I am so glad to have found this subscription. Money well spent!
