We’ve recently moved into a house and decided we would love a real fire, we stumbled upon Heat Matters on Instagram and were impressed by the range of mantels used in the videos and the different log burners on display.

My partner contacted Dermot who came around to look the existing set up and let us know how it would work, and his recommendations. We were really impressed how knowledgeable and passionate he was.

We finally decided on an exquisite marble mantle, as every piece is different we went into the showroom which is currently being built to view the piece. As it’s such a unique piece we messaged Dermot to see if we would be able to come and view it for a second time, this wasn’t a problem at all and once there we decided it was the one for us. There was never any pressure sell ect.

Dermot and Ben came to do the installation, they are complete professionals and so friendly! Watching them work you can see that they are perfectionists, which is exactly what you want. So so happy with the mantel and log burner, completely makes the room as well as getting us ready for the colder days. Highly recommend!!

Dermot recommended, supplied and fitted our stove a year ago. On its first anniversary, following his recommendation I asked him to sweep my chimney and check over the stove, everything was fine. He did a great job, very tidy and thorough. In the year we have had the stove we have not had a doubt that this is a fantastic bit of kit, we love using it and it has performed very well.

What a fantastic service. The attention to detail is amazing. Dermot has installed 2 wood burners for me now and both fitted with such care and professionalism. Dermot from came from Heat Matters to do the initial survey and gave me a very reasonable quote two days after I rang him . He is a very professional and friendly man , knew his job back to front . He made me feel very comfortable and recommended the best gas fire for the fireplace , it looks great . On the day the work commenced ,he covered the furniture and floor in dust sheets and respected my home . He swept then lined the chimney and fitted a cowl on top .He Left everywhere clean and immaculate afterwards . I would recommend him to anyone . You did a great job Dermot I am so pleased with the results .

We absolutely love our new log burner, the result is even better than imagined! The guys at Heat Matters are so professional - Dermot came to view our existing fireplace within 48hours of us enquiring to survey it, give us a quote and explain what could be achieved. From there we chose our log burner, the colour of our hearth and the oak beam. We felt confident after speaking to Dermot that Heat Matters were who we wanted to go with - it's clear they know their stuff! We were booked in for 3 weeks after our initial survey, the guys showed up promptly in the morning of installation and worked so efficiently they were able to get it all done within the working day. How to use the log burner was demonstrated to us before they left and they very kindly left us a bag of logs. We are over the moon with our new log burner, it has transformed the room already and we couldn't have asked for a better experience with Heat Matters.

My son had a stove and fireplace fitted by Dermot, and it was so well done we gave him a call. He talked us through all the options and left a stack of books with us while we decided, with no hard sell or pressure to make a quick decision ( which was great for us as never had a stove before and terrible at choosing). Once decided Dermot gave us a competitive quote quickly and was flexible with an installation date. Arrived on time, very clean and tidy, covered all our floors to keep dust out as much as possible. Fire was fitted in a day and it is perfect, and Dermot showed us how to work it. Very happy all round and love the new fireplace , would highly recommend.

Dermot and team are so impressive. I chose Dermot to do the work as on meeting him at the quoting stage he was clearly incredibly knowledgeable and equally important to me, he was a nice man who I knew I would be comfortable with in my home. They arrived at 9 and left just after 6 and I’ve honestly never seen such hard and efficient workers. The job is 100% perfect. Dermot has a great eye for style and things being in perspective and is a perfectionist who is also polite and pleasant to have around. They opened up a fireplace in my bricked up chimney breast and it’s beautiful. Lovely finish. Oak mantle is stunning. I’m quite picky and I honestly can’t fault these guys. I would 100% recommend Heat Matters.

Heat matters were very friendly and professional. After messaging them enquiring about a log burner installation, he immediately arranged to come to our home to give us an accurate quote. On the day of installation they arrived on time and completely covered everything with dust sheets. They were extremely respectful of our home and made sure that everything was kept as clean as possible throughout.
The quality of their work was exceptional and they advised us on best practice for using the log burner. The work was well priced and the whole experience has left my partner and I recommending them to anyone who may be looking to have a log burner installed. All round exceptional service.

I didn't know Dermot and someone recommended him to me as I wanted a log burner fitted in my Orangery,he is the nicest guy you could meet and told me exactly what I needed and where best to put the log burner,he turned up when he said he would and Dermot and Jay just got on with it,they went through everything with me and give me a demo on the new log burner,they left the orangery spotless when they had finished and after a couple off days give me a call to see how I was getting on,I would highly recommend these guys to anyone,class from Start to finish,cheers Heat matters 👍

Dermot has been so helpful and patient with me, I am the most indecisive person ever but he was so patient with me when it came to me deciding which stove I wanted etc, he always replied to my questions no matter what time of the evening it was, he answered anything I needed to know. On the day of installation the guys worked so hard! It was dark when they started and dark when they left, Every thing they did was to perfection, I have a hawk eye and I always pick the bones out of anything but there was nothing to fault everything was spot on I am so happy I chose this company , I had lots of other quotes but these guys was definitely the best at what they do. They were also very clean and tidy which is a bonus. Thank you so much for the excellent service you provided we are so happy with our stove.
