so i ordered a wedding dress from herdress after falling inlove with an image (which was oviously a stolen one from a designer). after ordering my dress i looked at reviews on this web page, my heart sunk, i was worried for 3 weeks that it would come like rags. once the parcel arrived 3 weeks exactly, a small package bag, yes dress rolled up inside out (for proctection) i was suprised to see a beautiful dress inside. a customised dress with all my measurements, boned and cups as i requested. the dress was too big on me, the colour wasnt quite to my taste. but all in all a lovely dress. i decided i wanted a diff colour in it so i have purchased another of the same dress. the material too was a little shiny for my liken so i wrote saying i wanted my next 1 covered more with a diff material they also use. for £170 what do people expect. i will find a good dress maker to make my dress which i ordered from herdress perfect. i sometimes just think people expect too much. i will write up a second review when my next dress arrives. yes their customer service could improve as i found emailing them very stressful due to lack of info, also not answering questions asked by myself. but overall i was a happy customer.

I ordered a dress from this website for my formal. It arrived two weeks after I ordered it which had been predicted. When it did arrive, it looked very similar to the dress in which I ordered. However, in the image, there was a satin belt which was not included with the dress. This isn't a huge worry for me. I would recommend this website to others but I would make it clear to ensure that you take into consideration the sizing of where the dress is being shipped from.

Don't purchase anything from this company website ! I've lost money & received a dress which doesn't fit me small fitting & poor quality material also wrong shade of colour that I requested. Absolutely shocking communication & very poor customer service. Herdress return policy is a absolutely bloody joke !! Not letting it go informing trading standards Herdress should not be in operation it's should go out of business!! They give any excuse to keep your money stay will clear !!

Do not buy from these i have lost money as dress not as seen in picture, asked for refund but told they dont do refunds.
Customer service is terrible.. If you was to buy from these you will be totally disappointed

The dress wasn't like the one on the picture and extremely small, didn't fit me and they never returned my money!

Do not buy from this company. They are lying to you by sending wrong item and wrong size. After they had your money,they do not care and they won't exchange the item or return the money. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I have been conducting test purchases from Herdress as a training exercise for my trainee international fraud lawyers for some time. We have purchased 18 dresses. We started the project to look at theft of intellectual property by Chinese internet suppliers. This company downloads images of other designers' work and passes them off as their own. Not surprisingly, the goods supplied are extremely poor quality imitations and the comparison of the product supplied with the photos is laughably bad. Herdress represent themselves as a UK based company but all the goods are sent from China. The Advertising Standards Agency has now made public findings against Herdrees for misleading advertising including representing themselves as a U.K. Company. You you can read the ASA findings on the ASA website. For those who have been defrauded by Herdress - see the UK "billing" address which is a UK registered company Easecom. The details of this company can be found on the Companies House website as well as the name and address of the sole director in Shanghai, China. Claims can be brought against the UK entity through the small claims process cheaply and easily. We are continuing with the project and the next challenge is to see if we can get the website taken down and to inhibit the flow of money to the beneficial owners of this company through payment service providers. If you are tempted to order from this Company, remember you will supporting the theft of intellectual property from legitimate designers and contributing to the funding of criminal conduct in China. Quite apart from that consideration, you will certainly not get either the product you ordered or your money back.

1 star is being kind.... awful customer service and terrible products and refuse to refund/exchange faulty ill fitting and poorly made clothes. Scammers and swindlers the lot of them. Shambles, trading standards and financial ombudsmen have been notified

The actual dresses are okay. They even contacted us over size when we had clearly entered a bust size in the waist size column.

My gripe is that they offered free postage on quite a large order and then refused to refund it after they had taken it from my account. They kept saying, when you get the dresses, we will refund the postage. Of course, when the dresses arrived, the company became impossible to communicate with.
When we ordered, there were very few negative reviews online, and I'm guessing that they had recently rebranded themselves. The reviews now are so bad, that I am sure they cannot get many orders and will no doubt relaunch with a new name.
Beware of any company that offers similar products.

Do not buy from them. They ripping everyone off. Poor quality. Looks nothing like the dress.faulty. I paid £200 and they won't let me return it. Even tho it's faulty!!

What a joke this company is. I am to be mother of the bride and thought I had found the perfect dress and jacket. My god what's mistake I made. I asked for custom made as I am not a standard size. I gave my measurements allowing for an inch wiggle room as was suggested on their website. I also asked for matching hat and even had a web chat about this. I was told to add hat to the note at bottom of order. The outfit was delivered rolled up in a plastic she bag. No invoice no return slip no nothing. OMG it was humungeous. The shoulder size on dress is 6 inches too wide. The bust is 2 inches too big. The hips are 6 inches too wide and the length is at least 6-8 inches too long. Looks like I'm wearing a sleeping bag. The jacket, well what can I say it's like a sheet thrown over my shoulders. So I contact the company and have now had at least 12 email conversations. They tell me to go to a local tailor to have it fixed. Could have had one made locally if I wanted to go that. I was offered 5% off and then 10% off. Do they think I'm some kind of idiot. The return/refundpolicy published on their website clearly states if size deviation they will refund. Clearly not the case. There must be a law or someone who can make them stand by their own written/published return policy. If anyone knows I would like to hear. DO NOT buy from this company - be warned

Ordered an evening dress from this website for my engagement party this week. I ordered a UK Size 12, I took the measurements from the website and compared it to my own which were nearly spot on. I couldn't even get the dress passed my thighs!! It was so small. Maybe a Size 8 but never in a million years a 12. I emailed to see if I could get a returns slip and told them my problem. They company made me send pictures of me trying the dress on to see the fit. Obviously the only way I could do this was in my underwear. I was mortified and angry. I was then told to take the dress to a local alterations shop to fix the problem, to which I declined as its too late for my party now. I emailed again to say that I would be contacting British trading standards and Citizens advice. A lady called Susan emailed to ask if I could send my Bust, Hip and Waist measurements which I did, these nearly match perfect to what was on the website.
Now they are both ignoring my emails and still refusing to send return slip. The dress arrived with no invoice, return slip or a Tag on the dress. Rolled up in a Bag! Say's it all really. Don't be fooled by the good reviews on their actual website, they only accept the good reviews and If you write a bad one they reject it. Help to get the Company Shut down. How they can do this to any Young girls, Ladies is beyond me.

It's a lesson learned, if something is too good to be true it usually is!!

I bought a wedding dress from them and it was not as described. They are not to be trusted the product is very bad.

Ordered a dress from here and it arrived 3 weeks later as promised, looked nothing like the dress I had ordered from the picture the sizing was all wrong even after sending my sizing, also ordered white and it came lilac.

I couldn't get my arms into the dress has it had been sewn at a funny angle and the breast area was nothing like what was shown on the picture. Not only that but on the image it shows a leatherette type of belt around the waste area, and all that was on mine was a very badly sewn together one.

I sent a complaint to them the day I received my dress and still haven't heard from them after them already acknowledging the email.

They have a live chat and spoke to a lady called 'Anna', I started the chat with needing help and as soon as I tell her about my problem she ignores me. I started a new chat again and then asked her why she chose to ignore me in the previous chat her response was this ''sorry, too busy''.
I tried again after ending the chat but they must have taken it down.

Completely unhappy with my order. The dresses were received in wrong colours, shapes and lengths. Upon asking for a return, was told that they were meant to come like this and that they just need to be taken to a tailor. Very bad customer service and highly incompetent staff.

I ordered a dress and was so happy until it arrived. It was not as advertised so they misrepresent their items and are different when they arrive compared to what you see on their site. I contacted them by email and they don't accept the return although distance selling rules and their own site states refund are available. I have been going backwards and forwards with these people and I have made no progress. They cheated me of over £100 all because I brought from them in good face only to discover that are cheats. I've never had an experience like this from any type of retailer in my life. Guess the lesson I learned from this bad experience is to always use trust pilot first before ordering from anyone you haven't used before. Guess their rating on here and reviews confirms just how bad they are and sure based on how they treat customers they will not be around for much longer as that's just the way business goes.

I've ordered a dress from this company for my daughter's wedding. Thought I would order a size bigger than my normal size just in case. On arrival the dress was far too small. I ordered a size 16 and what arrived looks like a size 10. I have been contacting the company multiple times to find out the address to return the product to. The staff have been very unhelpful and reluctant to my questions. Extremely disappointed! With the stress of planning a wedding the last thing you want is to incur additional problems of this kind. This, of course, also incurred additional costs, which is completely unreasonable.

I gave my correct measurements and the dress came 2 sizes too small. Website looks like a Uk website but dress made in China. Not worth the money. Paid £25 for shipping. Then have to pay DHL customs another £50 for duty and VAT. Invoice in with Dress states value as $27 . I paid £135 .
