the worst experience i'm having now, ordered a dress paid extra 30£ for it to be delivered on 24 March here I am still waiting...they sent me someone else tracking number. I took 2 days off from work just to be sure I'm home when it arrive. Send them another e-mail and they told the dress is under custom control and will be shipped Asap. I've asked them for a refund but reading from all the reviews I doubt getting anything from them.

I was wary after reading other reviews but noticed amongst the bad reviews there were some good ones. Also, I balanced my expectations against the amount that I paid. I would recommend if you want a flawless dress and want to be sure or exactly what you're buying then stick with high street stores as online purchase of clothes can be a risk.

However, my experience of Herdress was better than I expected. Any postal cost was included in the amount I paid upfront. So there were no surprises. Herdress kept in touch by email. They responded promptly to any of my queries and even questioned an incorrect measurement that I had submitted which meant that it could be corrected before the dress was made.

The dress arrived on time and it was exactly how it looked in the picture and the measurements are correct. I will need to do some alteration as I expected to bring it in in certain areas to perfect The fit but overall I am very happy. Thanks Herdress!

These people are Fraudsters and we should all take action against them.
This company is very dishonest. As they had .co.uk web address we thought they were in the UK but they clearly aren’t. This shouldn’t be allowed. On the website it says free delivery for over £199 yet we were charged almost £50 delivery for an order of over £200 this was added to the invoice at the last minute, after we entered the card details.

They told us we could ask for changes to our dresses (eg longer sleeves) but wont confirm whether they are making these changes. even though I have asked about these at least 10 times. In the circumstances I have asked for a full refund but they havent responded.

I have already raised this with my credit card company and I am planning to take this up with trading standards. Can I urge other frustrated customers to do the same and to complaint to facebook and google too. this company shouldnt be allowed to trade, they are clearly fraudsters.

A total rip off my Mom bought a dress for my brothers wedding it came wrong colour too small on top even though she paid £28 carriage has now had an invoice from TNT for import taxes of £27.21 so that's £125 down the drain. I wish I had read these reviews first DON't BUY OFF THEM

Ordered a prom dress for my daughter which to be fair was nice, but arrived and several flaws in a cheap packaging bag. No protection at all, just a plastic bag. I contacted them and their reply was basically tough, 'forget about the subtle error of the dress, since all dresses are hand-made, it is inevitable that some tiny difference will be made during the process of tailoring'. This dress was £150 delivered. I am left with a faulty dress and cannot do anything about it.

This company is one of the worst companies you could ever buy any product from and neither the customer service is up to any decent standard.

I bought a dress and there was a slight damage on the front and it looked NOTHING like the image on the website. I sent a photo and asked if the dress can be replaced, they responded and stated that the damage was apparently "too small". The people whom I was in touch with were rude.

Had there been a non-star option, I would have chosen it.

I ordered a dress a size larger than my actual measurements and when it finally arrived (after several weeks of poor communication telling me to 'be patient'), it was actually several sizes smaller than the one I ordered (going strictly by their dimensions given on their size chart). I was initially fooled into thinking this was a UK company by their .co.uk website, but discovered they are in Singapore and paid £30 p&p and was also charged import tax by the carrier.

Their only customer service is by email and they are very rude, unhelpful and refused to offer a refund. Each email I sent was replied to by a different name and although I explained the dress was too small and sent photos of it on along with my own measurements, they have totally refused to accept any responsibility and replied that I should go to a tailor for alterations at my own expense. It's absolutely outrageous!

These people are making money fraudulently, and pretending to offer great customer service where there is none. You take pot luck with your order and the final cost of your dress will be much more than anticipated. Do NOT buy anything from them. I certainly won't be ever again, and will let as many people know as possible. Very angry I have been fooled and will be taking this matter up with my credit card company. Disgusted with 'herdress'!

'if you return them, you need to pay the high postage and tax, also they are easy to be missing on the return way.and you will take the full responsible for the return. and it is not cheap.so please make fixing in local if possible.'
The above is the last email that i had from HerDress having sent them many photographs of the poor workmanship and finish of a dress and jacket that i ordered from them.
Their returns policy is non-existent, so be warned that you will be very lucky if you get a quality item from them, because it looks as though, like me (judging by the reviews) it is unlikely

I ordered a dress it came yesterday and it's not even the dress I ordered. It doesn't look anythin like the picture on their site.. it's too big meant to be a size 8 and it's more like a 10, it's not off the shoulder like it should be and can not be altered, they have glued weird plastic gems to the lace around the top of the neck and round the bottom of the sleeves that ain't meant to be there and am not shown in the picture and not mentioned in the description and they make the dress look cheap and tacky, these plastic gems can not be removed or they will make holes in the lace, it's fraying, it's got sequins in the lace which ain't in the description and they am falling off and making the dress fray even more, the stitching that's holding the pletes together am coming lose after trying it on once, I have contacted them about all of this and they replied saying there's nothing wrong with the dress they sent me. They am not willing to accept fault and send me a dress as pictured and correct size or give me my money back so stay away from this company.. I am never buying anything from them ever again as they wont rectify the issuse or give me my.money back..

So I saw a shoe on the website which is nude/black with red soles.. I ordered and paid over £20 shipping fee which I didn't mind , they said it was gonna be couple of days but I got it in 1month plus.. whenever you write to inquire about the product the response is always very rude,"ur dress is handmade so we are taking time " even if it's a shoe they keep saying dress .. as if that's not enough I got a wrong colour (pink/black with nude soles ) worst of all it did not fit... I wear uk 6 but ordered 7 and it still did not fit... when I wrote to them and sent pics to complain they were so horrible to me as if my money had no value.. and go on and on how they do not refund because they are handmade , like who cares?? ... now this is unacceptable because even in ££ land your pound is very valued and respected unlike a company which finds joy in dissatisfying clients even when it's company's fault .. I spent over £50 not as if it was £5 smdh... do not go anywhere around these people , I am sure you will be disappointed like everyone else here ... The review rate says it all.. 2/5 very poor

£30 postage for it to turn up in a bag. Refund Policy means nothing. Item was faulty and when asking to return they simply said that I could not return it. Sadly it was my daughter who fell for it all and it was for a Prom Dress. I do not understand how any organisation, anywhere in the world feel that this is okay.

I am taking this to my Credit Card company who will follow the matter up and strongly recommend anyone else does this. If the item is over £100 you are automatically covered.

They say shipping is free over a certain price but charge anyway and wont refund. the dress was the wrong colour. not a uk based company look elsewhere to avoid dissapointment. ITS TRUSTPILOT STAR RATING IS 2/5 STARS.....That says something.

Ordered Alone, scoop neck, long sleeve prom dress for my daughter. Was worried sick as I ordered before reading reviews. I emailed herdress several times regarding my concerns and they replied to everyone almost immediately asking me to trust them. I did so explaining that the poor reviews are doing them no favours and that I could not afford another dress so I kept the order. They emailed me regularly telling me every stage the dress was at, again reassuring me. The dress was delivered when expected. I am giving an honest review so will say it does come folded in small package so was creased. Luckily, my daughter doesn't need it until June so it can be either steamed or hung so the creases will drop out. The colour was exactly as I ordered and it fits perfectly. It looks stunning on. It is heavily lined which surprised me as I expected a poor quality fabric. There are a few small tucks in the seam but they can't be seen when the dress is on. The back was advertised in the picture as a pointed, low back but it is actually more of a square back but this is more appropriate for my 15 year old as it is not as revealing. I paid £116 including delivery but please be aware that when the courier contacts you there is also an additional £4.35 charge for importing tax. I have emailed herdress to tell them they perhaps need to be more honest in their advertising as also the dress was made in Singapore, not the UK. Overall, for me, I am impressed with the quality of dress for what I paid. This dress would have cost me £400 in a shop and I was quoted £300 to have it made locally by a dressmaker as it has lots of sequins on it too. I am not doubting any poor reviews on here and my heart goes out to you as I was worried sick. Perhaps me emailing them at the beginning of process to voice my concerns helped. I don't know but just wanted to share my positive experience.

I ordered a prom dress for my daughter, thinking it was a safe purchase because it was made to measure and looked beautiful in the photo. I paid nearly £100 plus £28 shipping.

When the dress arrived it was hideous - too big on top, poor quality, and worst of all the wrong colour. We'd ordered a silver grey dress, and the bodice was a kind of flesh pink with a grey overlay. Hideous. It looked like some kind of cheap princess Barbie dress.

I emailed the company asking for their return address and telling them that I wanted a refund. They asked for photos - fair enough, so I sent them.

They then suggested that I should have it altered locally, which I thought was a bizarre response given the nature of my complaint. Again, I told them I wanted a full refund.

Finally, they said "how about we give you a 5% refund and you keep the item?" By this time I had realised they were not a reputable business and had no intention of making good their mistakes. Once again, I told them that their suggestions were unacceptable and asked for a full refund.

I also told them that unless they did provide a full refund I would contact my credit card company to have the transaction reversed. No response from Herdress this time.

Today I phoned my credit card company and started a complaint procedure to get my money back through them, since Herdress clearly have no intention of putting the matter right.

Do not touch this company with a 10-foot pole.

So, I ordered my wedding dress from her dress.co.uk thinking (stupidly) that it was a uk based company... I thought for £200 I couldn't go wrong, if I hated it then I could just bin it at that price? I ordered a lace dress. It came and I can honestly say it's better then some I tried on in wed2be and my local wedding dress boutique.
Firstly the stitching is perfect! Like beyond perfect, the lace is of high quality. And the actual top past of the dress is all boned with support so I don't have to wear a bra (I'm plus size so this is a first for me)
The sizing was perfect! I sent across my measurements and it fits like a glove. I just wish I could post pics on this site to show you all. However I think this link will take you to the exact dress I ordered and it couldn't be more perfect.

Ordered a dress in red and it came bright pink. Despite ordering the dress slightly bigger than my size it was still far too small and really poor quality. Now we are trying to get a refund they are refusing to cooperate even though our complaint is within the refund policy. Absolutely disgusted with this company!

I ordered this dress in BURGUNDY .It arrived in RED! The way it was made was very shoddy i.e raw edges of lace showing on shoulders. The back lace bodice was very poor at the waist,with some of the the buttons being loose.The bodice insert which was supposed to be flesh colour was actually nearly white.
I emailed them several times where the evaded completely the fact that the dress was actually the wrong colour.
They had the cheek to say that it was easy for ME to FIX the other problems and would offer me a 5% discount which equated to less than £5. I wont of course be accepting this and am taking the matter further. Do not touch the company with a barge pole!!

I ordered a burgundy dress - it came and it was RED! They refuse to answer emails. Told me my colour settings were wrong on my computer. Then when I sent them a screen shot of their colour swatch and a picture of the dress they offered me a 5% refund of the cost of the dress!!!! I kept asking for an exchange which they have completely ignored! Waste of time and money!! Dispute now opened to retrieve my money back.

Wish I'd known about this site before even thinking about using them!!! Totally disgusted at the so called 'customer service'. Scammers sums them up!!

The dress I ordered for my daughters prom was shocking quality, didn't fit properly even after sending exact measurements to have custom made and looked nothing like the picture. ENOUGH SAID!

Do not order a thing from this fraudulent site. My daughter brought 2 dresses, one for herself and one for my own mother, both dresss came and don’t fit, even though my daughter got a size bigger than her actual size. They are offering me 5% dress cost, what a cheek. We even had to pay extra fees for customs charge. My mum wants her money back but these waste of timers, who don’t speak or write in English well, seem to be playing dumb. Quick to take your money but not refund it, even if your problem is stated in their returns policy. My daughter is having to go through the bank now to see if she can get her money back. Fraud, fraud fraud, stay well away from this site at all costs. They have even said, to justify us not spending too much money to send back the dresses, 5% compensation of the dress price, dam cheeky. I have even said we are quite happy to send the dresses back at no cost to them and it would be sent recorded, tracked any way so that it can reach them safely so we can get our refund. Not a happy customer at all.
