Not the best customer service
Ordered the latest and greatest foldable phone from Honor UK. Due to some confusion around email addresses I missed the initial order confirmation and invoice. After sorting out the email address I had asked honor to send me a copy of the invoice. 4 days and 8 emails later I cancelled the order out of frustration and sure enough, 15 minutes later a received the invoice, but it was already too late. The main problem is all messages get translated to mandarin & back and therefore they often don't understand what the customer is after.
Honor 200 appears to have issues
Honor 200 appears to have issues. The one that i find most annoying is. When the phone is switched on and on charge, It keeps coming up with a message that you have not set up a screen saver. It tells you how to do it.
But if you follow the instructions from the phone screen there is no option to set one up.
I have tried to get some help from there useless customer services and there does not seem to be a fix.
DO NOT BUY A HONOR PHONE
Non existent customer service
Originally very happy with phone and purchase. However after 12 months when there were problems and phone still under warranty customer service was non existent. Tried phoning and if I did manage to get through and put on hold, every 30 minutes I would be cut off. Email - no response. facebook messaging, no response, whatsapp no response. Absolutely rubbish customer service. Shame as up till now a very good phone but I would definitely not recommend as no customer service.

Honor you just lost £1000 order
Good experience
I was a little shocked to see the number of bad reviews about Honor.
I decided to purchase Honor after finding that every Samsung device I have owned over the years doesn't last more than 12 - 18mths.
After yet another Samsung phone becoming problematic I just wanted an affordable but decent phone. I purchased the Honor Magic 6 Lite along with the earbuds and Honor Band 9. I also had a free case.
My order was delivered by DHL but was held at their depot for a couple days. I personally found Honor's customer service to be very helpful. My order did arrive a couple of days late but that was the couriers fault.
I am so far very happy with my phone. I prefer it to the Samsung. The screen is superior by far. I enjoy the curved edges. If I had to be critical I would say the battery isn't as good as I expected. It is still good but equal to my old Samsung despite the bigger capacity. It is still impressive for such a thin phone. If you take a lot of photos this phone may fall short for you. It can take some fantastic photos but if you zoom in there is some blur and pixelation. I don't take many photos so not an issue for me.
The earbuds are excellent for the price. I haven't noticed any difference in sound quality between these and my Apple Airpods. They last around 6 weeks on a charge which is longer than Apple. They aren't great if you are running or working out they do fall out of your ears unlike Apple.
The Honor Band 9 has a nice design. I like the strap and find the materials are of a superior quality to the Huawei equivalent. Honor claims the battery lasts 14 days it doesn't I get 7 days with regular use and 5 with a lot of use. Huawei battery is far better. The accuracy of the Honor is questionable and produces very different results to my Huawei tracker and my phone. I did read reviews stating the hear rate tracker isn't reliable or accurate. There are also limited faces that are free, the majority you have to pay for. I will be sticking with Huawei for the fitness tracker but I do recommend the phones.
They appear to be breaking the law on Consumer Rights
I think the last review said it all.
Watch has stopped working with the App. It's 6 months old. Customer service said they would send a 'returns' email. They didn't. I phoned back and requested it. They said they would send it, I said I would wait on line this time for it to arrive. They refused. They said it was because I didn't have the serial number (because I don't still have the box). After about half an an hour of argument they told me how to find the serial number, after which they said said they couldn't deal with that serial number and down to the retailer not them to guarantee it and they refused to have anything to do with it or send me a 'repair' label. After 2 hours Thank you Amazon for refunding, but suggestion remove the"Amazons Choice recommendation.
Complete disregard for consumer rights
I am creating this review as a warning to anyone that will take the time to read this as this company has no regard for consumer rights so please be warned!
I bought the Honor Magic 6 Pro back in February and noticed that the WhatsApp video quality was awful. I compared the M6P versus the Mate 20 Pro, S24U and Redmi 13 Pro Plus and the video quality was incredibly inferior on the M6P.
I contacted Honor who ignored my query about this so messaged them with a refund request. They accepted the request but then when I provided the pick up details they came back saying that I was over the 14 days return police as per their terms and conditions - bear in mind in the UK we have a consumer protection act which protects us against companies such as these by stating that if a product is faulty you can return it within 30 days for a refund or repair.
After protracted communication with Honor I sent the device off to their repair center. Their own repair center came back confirming a fault with the device via their tracking tool. I message Honor refusing the repair and requesting a refund as per the consumer protection act. They ignore the email, repair the device and send it back to me.
I speak to an advisor who tries to claim that the fault they found was not related to the one I reported to them even though when I sent it to their repair center I had to describe the fault! Anyways instead of arguing I ask the advisor if there was a fault with the device - he reluctantly admits there was so I then re-quote the UK consumer act!
Finally after 2 and a half months dealing with Honor they accept a refund due to a faulty product reluctantly (thankfully there are consumer laws in the UK to even get at this stage). They provide me with 2 return methods collection or dropping it off at a DHL express point. I choose the latter as it's a Friday so I can return it as quickly as possible and put this whole thing behind me.
I took pictures of the package as well as the items packaged (the M6P and the charger). Dropped it off at the DHL drop off point and received the proof of delivery.
I finally receive an email saying the refund has been completed but when I check my account only £14.99 was refunded! I had to contact Honor yet again to find out what is going on. To my bewilderement they say that only the charger had been returned which is why only £14.99 was refunded! I was incredulous as I used their own return method and used their own return label. I provided them with photos and even the advisor says I believe you returned the phone (this has now been ongoing since the 18th March!). According to them the investigation concluded saying the device was not returned even though the parcel was never weighed in front of me and when I requested an investigation they are claiming the weight of the package was less than they expected. When I reviewed the label they provided me to my dismay it only states 1 item and a lower weight which is what I believe they were quoting! Of course this was also provided to them as I forwared the email which I was provided to me with the label and their return instructions which I followed along with photographs of the phone in various stages of being packed and the sealed package in the end.
As it stands HONOR currently holds £849.99 of my money and is refusing to refund it!
This company has been absolutely atrocious making me go through hoops to return a faulty product and I am now in the process of reporting them to UK Trading Standards as they are currently holding £849.99 of my hard earned money hostage! In this day and age I am gobsmacked such a big company is trying to get away with taking £849.99 from a consumer! On top of that they have ignored a Subject Access Request which is unheard of in the UK at least to my experience so I have sent a reminder as I have to before I can report them to the Information Commissioner's Office.
I hope this post serves as a warning to other consumers and I sincerely hope no consumer has to go through what I have gone through in the last few months and still going through due to this company. I also hope that influencers see this and do right by consumers because they should not be promoting such companies that have blatant disregard for consumer rights!
Declined repair
Sent in my phone for repair as it had screen burn, they then sent me a picture of my mobile with a bent frame and damage,i sent it in in as new condition, they refused to repair my phone im now out of pocket and a mobile, will never buy a honor product again was trying to move from samsung to cheaper brands but i say stick to what you know, the customer service is appaling and the staff rude
Don't get it.
One of the worse phones I ever had. I can't get signal to my WiFi ever. Need to disconnect WiFi and turn on again to be able to connect. So slow after only one year of having it. Don't waste your money.
Really good phones
I have had two Honor phones now and have being happy with both of them. One was years ago when they were part of huawei and the latest one I purchased after Honor moved away from huawei. I had purchased a different brand in between but regretted it less than two months after purchase because this different brand pushed an ota update that bricked my new phone then they had the audacity to ask me to pay to return the phone to them to repair the problem that they had caused! I sent it back to the retailer instead and got a refund. I emailed Honor and asked about who pays for returns under warranty andwas happy to be told if there was a warranty claim then Honor would pay for the return. I then purchased my second Honor in light of this.
I am very happy with my new Honor Phone which I have had for some time now so can say I have given it more than enough time to test it and use it everyday and the communication from the manufacturer was great
Great mobile phone
I do a lot of reviews and completed over 5000 just on Amazon alone. So I wanted to come here and write a review on my husbands Honor 70 lite he bought through Fashion world catalogue.
My husband isn’t a high end phone user, but needed a phone of his choice, rather than my usual cast offs after the contract ends.
We both looked at suitable phones for him, and I found this phone from the catalogue, great because it was only about a fiver a month, so win win. Plus around £129 to buy.
My husband gave up my Sony 1 (111) which is classed as high end, in the same league as Apple and Samsung. He used it a while, but then decided he wanted a more easier one to use, without compromising style and functions.
The mobile phone arrived after a few days. I got him a Lebara sim through USwitch. The sim was 15gb with free calls + free texts etc for £2.78, then after three months promotion went up to £5. A great deal and Lebara I will changing to myself.
The actual phone was perfect and the battery life using every day online as well as calls and texts lasts three days😲 excellent for battery life, so much better than the high end mobiles. The phone looks sleek and so simple to use. The camera may not obviously be on par with a mobile that costs nearly £1000 but if you want a phone with excellent battery life, a decent camera, and use for texts and calls, this make is really good. In fact I will be buying one myself when my Sony starts getting too old.

For those who don’t know, a bit of information. Honor is a Chinese consumer electronics brand majority - owned by Shenzhein Zhixin new information technology Co.ltd. It’s a state owned enterprise controlled by the municipal government of Shenzhen. It was formally a subsidiary of Huawei mobile phones, who sold their brand in November 2020. Just a few facts if interested to read.

My husband hasn’t had any need to contact this company as everything with his phone has worked seamless so far. He has had the mobile 3-4 months currently.
It is a shame that a lot of people have had issues, but I am reviewing the actual mobile, not customer service in which I felt is the correct way of reviewing. If reviewers have had issues, maybe write a review on the Honor mobile, then underneath write your thoughts on customer service, that way people reading will have the correct information…
Despite the two star currently, the mobile phones are really good and everything you need, and despite me paying nearly a £1000 for my Sony, I am going to buy one of these mobiles myself, so they cannot be that bad can they?
My husband loves his, a cheaper mid range phone which does have good reviews from tech experts.
Thank you
Shocking customer service they lied to…
Shocking customer service they lied to you constantly do not use this company.
Good product, terrible company to deal wit
I purchased a tablet from Honor through Topcashback. The isdues I had were as follows:
Honor would not apply the relevent promotional discount.
Honor have refused the Topcashback discount.
I never received confirmation of my order from Honor.
Getting customer service from Honor is sketchy.
Basically, I'm really happy with the product but, as a company, Honor UK are atrocious. I dread to think how things will go if I need to make a warranty claim! If you want to buy an Honor product, buy from Amazon, Argos, etc, etc - do not buy direct!
Honor App orderingsubmited to buy a phone magic 5 on…
I submited to buy a phone magic 5 on app with black friday deals. After input of all details including payment all I got then was white screen then nothing. Thinking it was me tried again same. This was then followed by cancellation message.
No joy contacting. I have attempted on a few occasions over days always the same. They have all my info. I have no order. Dread to think what the mobile phone is like ☹️
Do not buy Honor phones.
Do not buy Honor phones.
They are craps, customer service don't have knowledge and the phones are full of bug and glitch.
My one, have a WhatsApp glitch using the loudspeaker and the Honor after several test, refuse to accept that is a Honor software fault.
South African support sucks and pants
Bad experience
Honor won't accept my 4 month old phone is faulty. Absolutely terrible customer service. What a waste of time and money. They just keep demanding more information from you so that you give up. I even sent my phone for repair (at my own risk they tell you) which acknowledged a fault but definitely did not fix it.
Bought items, faulty item sent and exchanged but £150 cashback declined as a result of it.
Bought a mobile, watch and tablet bundle but the watch turned out to be faulty. A partial return was eventually accepted, faulty watch sent back and a replacement sent. However they refused to offer me my £150 cashback through quidco, citing cashback has been rejected by the retailer as item returned. When I pushed on them someone at honor looked into it and once again refused to issue the cashback as a partial return was issued not taking into consideration that I paid for the full order and the faulty item they send was swapped out for a new one.
As for the phone, it's fine but software is buggy and I'm not enjoying it. It's very frustrating to use because of these bugs, I will not buy from again.
If I could give a minus 5 that would be my ratingl😤
If I could give a minus 5, that would be my rating. Total nightmare.
