I gave so many chances to honor and…

I gave so many chances to honor and tried their different phones over the last couple of years but they always let me down their phones are so crap these days and so over priced honor magic 5 lite one of the worst display you can call it eye hurting display honor 90 and 70 for the price dosent support stereo speakers and dosent feel premium or mid range at all & even though the price you see here if you compare with other brands they offer a lot more so what's the purpose of getting an honor phone ? Not recommended !! Rubbish quality low specs waste of money less than two years of software updates you hardly see any so not recommended poor !!!! Avoid!!!

Not giving repair service on device within warrenty period!!

I bought brand new honor X6 from Argos. This phone's screen is cracked within the use of 3 months. I called Argos about free repair service which has to be in it's warrenty. But they referred me to Honor customer service.

When I called honor, they said they don't do repair service. It's not fair for customers, while the manufacturer company has to do repair for the device which is within it's warrenty period!!!!

Unreasonably high prices and fake discounts

At the first glance, the site offers rather competitive prices (with all the mentioned discounts). But you are not allowed to use all the discounts at the same time - only one (1!). It is always cheaper to buy any their products from other sellers. Their site is useless. This is what you expect from the official site. What you do not expect from a respected, honorable company - to use such dirty tricks. They are so greedy for so hard-earned coins of yours! Avoid)

False advertisement

I've purchased a honor magic vs and after a few weeks the inner screen had a green line through it so I phoned honor uk to book it in and because I got 12 months screen protection it was free of charge but when they fixed it they want £50 for the glue they have used and the service 😡 so at this moment in time I have no phone unless I pay!! Whats the point in screen cover if it doesn't include everything 🤔 £1400 for a phone I don't have

HONOR makes customers pay extra for HONOR's mistakes? Unacceptable behaviour

I'm only leaving 2 stars because Diana from customer service was empathetic. Everyone else was not.

I bought an Honor70 in November 2022. Just recently in February 2023 this phone was stolen by a pickpocket. I made the decision to re-purchase the same phone. I am a loyal customer.

At the time, I was visiting the UK so tried to order from Hihonor.uk. My payment would not go through so I turned to customer service for assistance. I was instructed to try it several different ways: Use a UK card and try again, use a different UK card and try again, clear cookies and try again, try again from my phone instead of a web browser, etc. Nothing worked. Finally they decided that the multiple attempts must have blocked me from ordering. I started this process on a Wednesday afternoon and by Friday I still had no answer from customer service. I lost out on a lot of time and on the deal that was offered.

However, I work in customer service and in the event that someone has an issue ordering within the valid period of a sale BUT they are in contact with our team to resolve it, we always honour the promo price for them because it is quite simply the right thing to do if you care about your customers and their shopping experience with your brand. HONOR on the other hand clearly is not bothered.

Admittedly I went back to Spain where they have a different website, but let's not pretend that the highest level of management for both the UK and Spain aren't the same person. If there is not one central level of management then they would be different companies altogether. Sorry, but that's just obvious. So while it is not COMMON to handle something across the different sites, it is indeed POSSIBLE, you simply have to want to help the customer, unlike HONOR in this case.

I was told the best they could do was offer me a 20 EUR promo code. However, Customer Service agent Kristian (it's spelled with a z somewhere but I don't recall exactly) offered me the 20 EUR voucher AND the 5% code for signing up to promotional emails. Logically he meant I could use them together, (especially since 5% of the total price was MORE than 20 EUR--why would they give me a unique code that is worth LESS than the generic discount offered to everyone who signs up for the mailing list? That makes no sense) but in fact that does not work, only one promo can be used. It's fine if he made a mistake in assuming they could be used together, but when I told this to customer service they tried to make me sound crazy which is really uncalled for when I am trying to spend money on your product. HONOR appears to be happier to lose out on 377 EUR than simply give me a promo code for 72 EUR to rectify this simple situation.

They stood by the fact that in Spain I would be getting additional gifts. While these are worth money, but that would entail me putting in the time and effort to sell them in order to get the correct price I would have paid for the phone in the first place if customer service had been able to assist me properly from the outset. So you are putting the onus on the customer's head to pawn items for cash when realistically you could just give me the code I asked for and keep your extra gifts for yourself (as it is the website states "while supplies last", so save these for someone who wants them and give me my discount).

At the end of the day I have not yet bought a new phone because I was holding out on a favourable response from HONOR. With no further response as they have decided this promo code was "the best they could do", I am now writing here in hopes that upper management will take seriously this lack of professionalism from HONOR's customer service team. There has evidently been a lack of training which led to them suggesting so many different attempts to purchase which got me blocked from purchasing. Then there was a lack of training as I was told I could use 2 promos together, this was false. Then there is a lack of training in how to respect a customer's time and loyalty (I should not be punished for your team's lack of training). And lastly, being made to feel stupid by your team when really you are the ones being unreasonable is actually pretty embarassing on your part. This whole experience has reflected very poorly on HONOR's customer appreciation I feel really disappointed.

I'd like to give HONOR one last chance to make things right and email me a proper response with the promo code I asked for. Let's be clear that my Trustpilot rating is for my CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE based on interacting with the customer service team and not the product. I would just like to have the purchase I tried to complete for the price I tried to complete it for. I entered into a sales agreement with HONOR and their own incompetence caused me to lose it. Unfair business, but with the chance to fix it.

Thanks!

False Advertising

Called them today to ask if they will forward an offered gift with purchase after delivery as it shows as out of stock. They said NO. I asked why they advertise a gift they have no intention of supplying bu the agent on the phone just kept repeating that if it is out of stock they will not supply it now or later. I asked when will it be in stock. He said I have no idea. I asked if the advertising of a gift with purchase which they will never supply was false advertising and again got the same answer, if it is not in stock they will not supply it. I feel it is time to refer to the advertising standards authority to clarify if they are breaching regulations.

Very poor customer service!!

Order arrived, on opening I found it had a euro plug not a uk one. ( this should have been checked before sending out) I rung them to arrange a return and they said they would email a returns label. I told them I do not have a printer so would they post me the label. They replied they are an online company and do not post. I was told to find someone with a printer or go to a collection point and they would print the label for me. I said I can not do that as I am disabled and housebound and that it is ridiculous you cant post the label to me. I was asked again do I want the emailed returns label or not as theres nothing else they can do. I said I dont have a choice do I so send it and I will have to ring around for someones help to get it printed out which was really stressful for me.

Honor or Dishonour

I used Honor 4G phone fot three years which was good. So I decided to go for Honor X8 5G. It was described as a dual sim phone on amazon and on the internet it was described as dual sim and SD card slot . When I got the new phone I opened my old Honor and took out the sims and SD card to put in the new phone. To my surprise there was only one sim slot and one slot for the memory card. I have fitted them and had to discard my vodafone pay as you go card with £35 in it. Amazon said it cannot replace with a new phone but I can return. As it is difficult to manage without a phone I contacted Honor giving all the details including a photo of the sim card and memory card in it(I took the photo with my old phone). I gave all the extra details they wanted like model, serial number and software details. The reply I got was it is dual sim and no slot for memory card !! There is no way with that shape and size of the slot a sim card will go into it. They probably didn't even look at the photo I sent. When I am using it with a memory card in it how could they say there is no slot in it? They just wanted to wash their hands off. It is only three weeks since I got it and no idea how it is going to function. Also it was described as it comes with a TUP protective cover which was not in the box. The answer I got was it is nothing to do with them and it is supplier's problem. Amazon gave me a bit of discount so that I can buy a case myself. There is a two year garuntee on it , but I don't have a hope in the hell that they will honour it judging by the way they behaved now. Buyer beware!!

Terrible batteries

Bought the Honor 50 phone from Amazon. After 4 weeks the battery started to drain quite fast. Was having to charge it 2 sometimes 3 times a day. It was also overheating quite badly. Contacted Amazon about sending it back. They would rather I got in touch with Honor directly for them to resolve the issues. Honor support gave tips for how to fix issues, none of which resolved the problems. Contacteed Amazon again who said refer it to Honor. Honor customer services don't seem to be interested as they just gave me the same tips to fix the issue which I have now tried twice and ended up with the same results. Phones battery is draining quickly and still overheats. The phone wasn't even used on three occasions and battery was at 9%. Since splitting from Huawei their phones have gone downhill. Have always had a Huawei smartphone until the ban. Needless to say I won't buy another Honor phone
