Same same....just blim'n excellent!
I've used Hireace a few times now for our annual golf trip and once again this year, the hire was easy and went without issue. The check-in was organised and quick and in fact the gent who handled me was awesome. Professional and efficient but fun at the same time. The van was exactly as advertised, unlike another company I used to use. We'll be back for sure - I don't bother going anywhere else now.

I had a great experience with Hireace! Their online booking system is incredibly easy to use, making the entire process a breeze—‘at the click of your fingertips’ sums it up perfectly. The pricing is very reasonable, and the customer service I received from the branch manager at East Tamaki was second to none. They were thorough in explaining the terms and conditions and ensured I knew how to safely operate the truck, including refueling. The vehicle was in mint condition and a pleasure to drive. I will always choose Hireace in the future for these reasons and highly recommend them, especially the East Tamaki branch

Refund
It takes about 28 days for the refund money to be processed. This is very unfair to the owner of the money. There should be legal repercussions for them.
Unprofessional Staff and Unsafe vehicle
Sorry for the long post but I want to share all the details to ensure others renting are aware and can take proactive measures. We rented a 12 seater van from Hireace Auckland airport branch for 14 days, starting Nov 10th, 2024. The van had multiple issues, bluetooth wouldn't connect, USB port didnt work and the tire pressure was low the next morning. We had to bring the van to the airport branch and while they fixed the bluetooth and air pressure, they said since it was an old van, they couldn't do much about the USB port not working. Not what we expected to hear but we accepted the outcome. Also, they said they added the 2 additional drivers but had only added one. We had to provide the id's again to add the 3rd driver. Another issue we faced was the front screen vipers stopped working. We called hireace and reported the issue to Jenome his response was - since its not a 'mechanical issue', they couldn't send roadside assistance and couldn't help. We had to stop for almost 90 mins before the rains stopped. We kept calling the office for resolution and asked for Manager and they said - they are 'busy with clients', as if we were not customers anymore...Finally managed to speak with Karan and he asked that we drive to one of the local stores and replace the vipers ourselves. Upon asking if they would re-imburse the cost of the vipers, he said they cant guarantee that we will be reimbursed. And that their team will assess the condition of the vipers and decide if we should be reimbursed. That was strange to hear given the fact that it wasn't safe to drive in such rains without the vipers working and instead of providing assistance or support, they chose to prioritize their commercial interest at the safety of the passengers. We escalated and asked to talk to the branch/regional head. Finally after waiting for their call for almost an hour, he called and said - they cant do anything and that we should fix the viper issue ourselves and hope to be reimbursed. So, owing to safety, we chose to replace the vipers ourselves. Another issue was the air pressure in the tires kept reducing every few days. We had to keep checking it regularly and fill the air. During so many conversations, we requested if they could provide a replacement vehicle, they continued to deny it despite multiple issues with the vehicle. We had another issue at Franz Joseph glacier area with the tires heating up and had to call emergency roadside assistance. Thankfully, that was attended to within reasonable time. I would not recommend Hireace to anyone and certainly not the Auckland airport branch. They are unprofessional and rude.
