I have been trying to transfer my…
I have been trying to transfer my securities out of saxo since one year. I can’t even imagine how at the end of my patience and how appalled I am. First transfer after many month got cancelled. Only 2 securities were transferred to the other broker without the acquisition data. Since then I have been trying for them to send the acquisition data to the receiving broker through the transfer channel without success. It’s only a couple of days point that they need to send. Their customer service has a response time of more than several weeks and are useless in answering the request. I created a second transfer request to another broker end January which has been now just cancelled. The reason I got in two days from the receiving broker: “saxo has been unable to provide the information although we tried to get them since January”. I still am waiting to hear anything from saxo customer service. So far They haven’t been able to address any of the simple requests and show willingness to help solve my issue. I just want to transfer the securities and close my account but it seems they are preventing me to do that… maybe this review will bring them to give me a phone number I can solve my problem after more than one year?!
Update: it seems they are very fast to respond to these reviews but actually not doing anything. 30May they replied saying that they ask a colleague to follow up, June 12th haven’t heard anything and my many emails to customer service are still since more than a month unanswered. This is what the receiving broker told me about the transfer request: “ we have been trying for several months to process the securities transfer to us. We have done everything possible on our part to obtain the securities. We have contacted the bank repeatedly to coordinate the delivery routes and provided all the necessary information. We cannot say why the transferring bank was still unable to carry out the delivery. Please contact the other bank in this regard.”

Unresponsive team responsible for verifying customer information
I gave Saxo Investor a try due to their promise of low commission and exchange fees compared to other banks.
Shortly after that I was asked to verify the source of these founds. This process has taken almost half a year and the responsive time from their team has been sluggish.
Despite having provided tax records from Skat, copies of pay checks and other documents establishing the source of these founds my account is still restricted, meaning that you can't invest money you have sitting on their platform.
If you are unlucky and get stuck in a situation like me you should be prepared to spent 1+ weeks waiting for a reply.
My impression is that the replies are either partially copy pasted from some template of replies or that they are using something like ChatGPT to answer more quickly

Worst broker I have ever seen. Crazy KYC!!
I moved to Danmark, from Germany.
after one scouting year in Denmark, I decided to move also my accounts to Danmark, to Saxo Bank. You think good idea? Guess again!
Saxos "KYC" (Know your Customer) is totally crazy and out of control!
They demanded information, I would never give to anyone.
Reverse onus for opening a simple account!
Saxo made me feel, me and my money was criminal.
You do that to me only once.
Customer service is fast, but answering only blabla. Never helping. just covering others incompetence withing Saxo Bank.
My story was completely easy and understandable:
An old man moving to Danmark, moving his 2 trading accounts after him to a broker in Danmark. All accounts in his name. Adress in Danmark, CPR number, everything in place.
I told them, that I was going to be VIP customer, but they treated me bad, demanding to send silly proof, my money was "not criminal". How stupid is that?!
The only positive, I can write about SAXO Bank is, that today they transfered my money back to Germany without delay. (not yet sure about another 4 digit Euro loss for me, due to transfer costs.)
All in all, a waste of time and a waste of money. A lot of money.

Saxo trader app it is worse than thinkorswim
Saxo trader app it is great for someone in denmark because it makes easier with taxes report, however commissions for option trading are quite expensive in comparison with other brokers. Also, the profit/loss graphs for option trading are quite basic, only giving you the at expiration picture, they do not provide a a real time simulation of the trade as, for example thinkorswim does. I suggest the improvement and they say it is not possible, which is not truth if competitors actually can, so they seemed not open mind and willing to improve...

Pålidelighed - Trustworthyfullness
The platform is not easy to use, but there is much functionality here, by using it many times through years you get some experience.
They are slowly to answer in writing but answers are always ok and detailed - And i Trust them. You in no way can say the same about so many else providing platforms to the trading markets and no guarantee back you ever will see your money again even when you are in favor and plus!
