From the moment our support session began,Mukesh was nothing short of . I came in with a long list of questions about the SAXO trading platform, and not once did I feel rushed or brushed off. Aditya took the time to explain everything — clearly, patiently, and in a way that actually made sense. His depth of knowledge and calm approach turned what initially felt overwhelming into something I could confidently navigate. He didn’t just offer solutions — he taught me, which makes all the difference. Honestly, it felt like he had all the time in the world just for me. Support like this is rare. Aditya, thank you for your outstanding guidance — you’re a credit to the SAXO team.

the client renewal team is based in India, yes, so that tells everything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
do yourself a favour and use a different broker
i escalated the matter with CEO Andrew Bresler via LinkedIn, believe it or not.
update: a Lady called Lucy based in Canary Wharf managed to sort out the mess, thank you.
however, my 1 star for the team based in India still stands!

Just like to give a testimony to Saxo, the member of staff that help me was very patient and guided me through everything I needed to do today, I need to open up sub-accounts from my account. Thanks

In my personal experience/opinion while they have some pricing advantage, they have really poor process in place. I believe customer's interest is last in its list of interests ( Personal opinion ).
My account had CFD positions that breached margin. Without even notifying me, they sold of the whole CFD and I incurred severe losses. A simple SMS or an Email to fund the account could have gone long way. When I called the tech support they said I should have kept looking at the account constantly in these volatile times.
Their ability to notify the customer about the account is dismally poor in my opinion . As a policy they dont send SMSs and proper notifications is what I understood from the conversation .
My personal recommendation is to stay away from this institution and invest in a more reliable operator.

The SAXO representative I spoke to listened to my requests, made an accurate note of them and confirmed that she had a complete and correct understanding.
She knew the appropriate action to take, advised me on the process, executed the changes I requested and made personal telephone contact to confirm that changes made were in place and to my satisfaction.
Overall a very fast, efficient, polite and professional service.

After seeing a humorous post from Saxo’s CCO on LinkedIn about FX fees, I couldn’t resist writing a review in response.
Saxo is absolutely right to highlight the impact FX fees have on investing—ironically, that’s one of the main reasons I left them as my investment platform for my Stocks and Shares ISA. With other platforms offering commission-free trading, fractional shares, and FX fees that are 50% lower than Saxo’s, the decision was obvious. Add in the high commission fees and the steep minimum balance required to earn interest on uninvested cash, switching brokers was a no-brainer.
Not only has this move saved me a fortune in fees, but I also now have access to far better tools for managing my portfolio—at a lower cost—something Saxo simply failed to provide.
Do better!

The personal touch. It can be complicated setting up accounts for trading. Sometimes, for obvious reasons. Whenever i needed assistance both setting up and, as it happens closing my account too. They were most helpful. with the improved trading costs, when I'm trading again i will definitely be back.

February 2024 I was asked to update the account information for my SaxoTraderGo account. Apart from the usual statements from me about the account, Saxo demanded copies of documents that would have revealed details about my busnis arrangements with other banks, so I decided bravely to end my Saxo engagement. That became a nightmare of nearly impossible communication between me, my basis bank and Saxo Bank with strange things happening to my account. For instance one of my assets suddenly appeared to have a 'corporate action' activated which prevented its transfer to my basis bank. I had not accepted this offer to buy the asset. Who had? In the end Saxo carried through the sale without my acceptance ignoring that my basis bank several times had tried to arrange a transfer of this asset.
I can only warn against this creepy bank. It has been impossible for me as well as my primary bank to get into a meaningful dialogue with them about this problem.
Saxo's response below is not to the point. I already have an amount of exactly the same asset in my primary bank where they have NOT been exposed to any corporate actions. That raises the question: what is really going on in Saxo Bank?
