Very responsive booking team, survey was booked fairly quickly and quality of level 3 survery was very good. Picked up few important issues with the property.

Had a survey done through this company before purchasing a house. The surveyor missed so many key things like external damage to vents and windows letting in a draft. Ridiculous

Very expensive! By the looks of things they are another middle man charging more and taking a cut! i wanted an epc for my house and it says on their site £99!! i found this with a local company for £60 in the end. Steer clear from middle men.

He organised a Level 3 homebuyer’s survey for me at a very competitive rate and the RICS report he arranged ultimately helped me negotiate a price reduction on the property. After a disappointing experience with a previous mortgage advisor I was reluctant to start the process again. As a young buyer on my first house it really had put me off the whole process, especially with the stress of already purchasing a home.
From the moment I spoke with Dan and his administrator Joanne I felt instantly comforted that it would not be the same as before. He ensured he would take care of everything and get me the best offer possible. Dan really took the time to express his knowledge and understand my situation, explaining all of my options clearly. He always made himself available to answer my queries, no matter how small. Everything was easy and seamless from start to finish.

Dan and Joanne were fabulous in helping us negotiate the whole mortgage search. They put us at ease and coached us through each step, and reassuring us when there was a minor blip (that nearly sent me over the edge!) In the end our mortgage went through in 1 week after our offer. Tremendous service.

So very disappointed. I wouldn’t recommend booking Albert Miles via Homemove for your removals needs. Homemove talk the talk with discounts available if you utilise more than one of their services but we had the most stressful moving day, with poor processes and communication a major issue from booking to completion. I have to caveat the removals (allocation) team themselves were fantastic, efficient and professional, but being overworked. With back to back bookings and very little time to rest or sleep before the next job!
The way Homemove and Albert Miles work together needs an overhaul - their automated confirmation emails listed the wrong arrival time at the booking, the final payment listed on the account didn’t deduct the deposit already taken, and on the move day itself they left us with a complete communication blackout. With their previous job over running, we were bumped to the far end of our arrival window, but no heads up via email, message or call was received, and with two little ones needing their beds we were incredibly stressed and frustrated trying to get any word from Albert Miles on an eta. In the end our babes had to stay with grandparents last minute while we supported the removers, finishing in the very early hours the next day. What frustrated us the most is the fact we made it very clear at booking stage that we had a family and routine in place and that we couldn’t move too late in the day. Then why was an afternoon slot recommended?! All in all, we wont be using Homemove again.
Since posting this review - Sami from Homemove has been in touch to apologise, confirm that they were implementing improvements to the communication process and the way the companies work together and to very kindly offer us vouchers which was much appreciated. Downtime post move was really needed. Thank you Sami.
Philip and the team were efficient and communicated well. I was in a hurry for a structural survey and they delivered it ahead of schedule. The report excellent. I would absolutely recommend Homemove.

Please do not use this company and avoid at all costs. All they are interested in is taking your money!!! Booked for them to do a Level 2 survey for a house I was purchasing and was told I would receive the report 2-4 days after the date of the survey. Had to chase up to get the report and was lied to several times by the employees with promises of the report being sent over by a certain time or day, which unsurprisingly passed without the report being sent. When I complained about the delay, they then changed their stance to reports being sent 5-7 days after to try to justify there incompetence!! Also when I complained they offer a gesture of goodwill of 15% off future services from them, which I can only describe as derogatory.
