Great company 100% recommend

Dan was great and took care of everything up to the point of solicitors taking over until completion which was also faultless.

Would 100% recommend Homemove and will definitely be using them again in 5 years to remortgage.

Fantastic experience

Fantastic experience - the skill, dedication, and the seamless support from Homemove’s excellent dashboard interface, responsive service and competitive pricing turned what could have been a stressful moving day into a smooth and joyful experience. Based on my dealings with them, I can say that they are an ethical, professional and honest moving company that I will recommend to all my friends! Missold me to take my money

Missold me to take my money, finally got through to someone to get a refund, was told I’d get it back between 3-5 days, followed it up after 5 days and they hadn’t even processed it yet. Great customer service until they get your money then they’re terrible to work with

Misleading

Misleading - hook you with a low quote and then almost triple it.
Needed a quote for quite a lengthy move, looked too good to be true! (turns out it was) asked several times if the cost was really what i'd be quoted. Was told it would only be "at most a few hundred pounds more" turns out it was triple the price and they didn't factor in the ferry needed from mainland to Ireland and was the reason it went from £835 to over £2.3K!!!
rushed me to put in a deposit to secure my "cheap quote" then slapped me with the accurate cost.
Awful way to ruin a business to be honest.

Moves from mainland England to Northern Ireland are a little different from standard UK moves, and our quoting system doesn’t yet automatically include the extra ferry costs and extended mileage. We’re already working on improving this so the full cost is shown upfront for customers in similar situations.

We took your deposit simply to make sure you didn’t lose your preferred date while we confirmed the details — it was never our intention for you to feel rushed. We also sourced a competitive quote for you and of course will process a full refund of your deposit because the quote is unsatisfactory.

We completely understand your frustration, but we’d like to reassure you that we don’t aim to mislead or hook people with low prices - as our other reviews hopefully show. Your feedback will help us improve so this doesn’t happen again, and we’re sorry we let you down on this occasion!

Good moving house and mortgage help
