I called homemove to request a level two survey for a potential purchase. Hugh Greenhouse talked through my options perfectly, gathering information about why I wanted a survey and concerns I had. We settled on a level 3 survey due to the age of the property and my concerns. Hugh took the time to talk me through everything perfectly. So glad I listened to him and went for the level 3 as there were some serious issues highlighted. The RCIS assessor attended promptly and I received a detailed report from them with a follow up call. As I had more questions they dealt with it perfectly. I received a call from Hugh a few weeks later to check in on how it went which was also a really nice touch on service levels. I would highly recommend and want to give my personal thanks to Hugh for everything. A great service from start to finish.

As a first time buyer I would highly recommend Dan @ homemove. Do not use for home removals. Booked from my storage unit for 11am. 20 minutes later, I have to email them because the phone number on the confirmation email isn’t working… I’m informed that the booking is for 1pm, not 11am, despite the earlier email in the chain confirming the 11am start time. After several more emails and requests for someone to call me, Homemove apologise (by email) and advise that the driver is now on his way, however the earliest they will get there is 12.30. 1pm comes and goes and I receive a phone call from the man with a van company they have obviously booked and I am asked to confirm my address. At this point it becomes clear that they have been given the wrong address. Long story short, I end up waiting at the storage unit for 5 1/2 hours. They refunded me in full in the end but it still doesn’t make up for the stress of that day. The driver they eventually managed to get to to show up broke my lamp due to the rush he was in trying to move all my stuff on his own. Terrible experience overall.

We recently used this services to find a mortgage for our first property we are moving into. We were appointed Dan Webster.
The process started of very easy as Dan was easy to contact and proactive with finding us the right mortgage and communicating with us regularly.
However, once Dan had found us the mortgage, we were unable to contact him with any questions we had regarding the mortgage or finding a different offer. Neither me or my partner have had a mortgage before so had a few questions regarding the mortgage and had no support from Dan from this point forward. What was ment to be an easy decision for us turned into a nightmare as we were left at the deep end with no form of contact from him. We rang him multiple times, multiple messages over Whatsapp and never heard from him again after initially sending the mortgage details through to us. It felt like as soon as he had the commission in sight all forms of communication were cut off.
I contacted the company and initiated the process with Dan, however half way through finding a mortgage Dan refused to speak to me and requested my parter rang him to discuss even though it was me that contacted him and I was the main one with questions.
We were both very disappointed by the lack of support provided, especially for first time buyers who have questions regarding the mortgage offer been sent through.
Me and my partner were very disappointed with the service provided by Dan and would not recommend him to anyone else in our position.

Lauren at Harmony Estate Agency made herself available to me around my busy schedule making it feel a bespoke service (without the price tag). My sale fell through today but my experience of having to call around and cancel everything was made that bit lighter by the caring and thoughtful call that I had when cancelling my survey. Sometimes you can give a 5 star review not because you had a 5 star service but because of the way a company deals with things when things go wrong. This happened in this case when my Homebuyers survey did not materialize when it should. A quick chat on the portal and it was sorted and the survey duly arrived. As I said things can go wrong but its the way companies deal with it that counts.

Paid for a valuation survey,was told it would be 3 to 5 days.7 days later and still no valuation report.Keep messaging them to ask why and all they do is apologise and nothing happens and have to keep contacting them constantly with no one getting back to me.If you are in a hurry like myself don’t use them,because you will regret it!Since writing the review i have been contacted and understand most of the problems are from a third party and the company will not be using said third party again,and i have been offered £60 as a good will gesture.

My neighbour, who lived on the 2nd floor above me used Homemove. Unfortunately during the move a lose coping stone fell and broke my garden storage container so I contacted them. I have to admit I was really annoyed and not expecting much but was I mistaken. They responded very quickly, apologising and saying they'd put things right......and they did. Not only did they replace the broken storage box, they also sent me a gardening tool kit as a gesture of good will. This all happened within days of my complaint. I was so surprised and delighted with my tool kit gift, what a lovely gesture. I think this is a company that genuinely strives for excellence for their clients and provide an easy and smooth experience. Would I recommend them? You bet I would. My dealings with them have proved they are a reputable company who strives to put the customer first, how fantastic is that!

I came to Home Move very late in the day for our re-mortgage having been with a previous FA who were dragging their feet. To say that we have had nothing but an exceptional service from Dan the FA and Joanne is an understatement. Everything has been done so quickly and efficiently, 3 months of work done in 4 weeks. They have both gone above and beyond to ensure that we get to the finishing line.
I couldn’t recommend them more, they have been pleasant to deal with and no question has been too much.
I won’t be using anyone else.
