Home Snag were great from start to finish. Naomi was able to book us a morning slot as requested so we could plan our day accordingly. Carl called 2 days before to confirm this with us and arrived on time. He was very efficient and throughout the whole process we felt at ease and wasn’t stressful at all. Naomi also was able to provide us with a 10% discount as a neighbour had booked them the same day which we thought was a nice touch as we didn’t know our neighbour had booked this so they could’ve gotten away without doing this. Would recommend!

Dominic who conducted our PCI survey was brilliant. Great detail on the report and sent same day as conducted. Also very detailed responses to some of our questions via email post report.

HomeSnag were flexible and able to rebook our snagging to a much earlier date in line with our request. The report was delivered very quickly and presented in a professional and easy to understand manner. Thanks to their report and the independent evidence presented, we are now being taken seriously and finally getting some outstanding snags addressed by our developer.

I was very pleased to receive the suits of the survey, which was thorough and had a transformative impact - enabling the vendor of the property and myself to move towards agreement in the run up to exchange of contracts.

The survey report included photos and details of both defects and areas in which best practice hadn't been observed. It was also accompanied by a populated spreadsheet, which the vendor and I will use to ensure all areas of remediation are tracked.

Homesnag were absolutely fantastic, very easy to book online and when we needed to change the date of our visit we got a really quick reply and new date.
Matthew was our surveyor and he was excellent, he explained everything so well and was with us for around 5 hours in total checking out every aspect of our new home. Considering it was a Sunday we had the report emailed over that evening with thankfully only a few minor issues. What fantastic service! Our customer service rep and site team were very impressed with the detail in the report and have completed nearly all the snags over the last 2 weeks. We are so glad we got the survey done as it has reassured us that everything is well in our new home.

I highly recommend HomeSnag. It was incredibly easy to book an appointment online. Lee attended our property on time and completed a thorough inspection. He was incredibly knowledgable and took the time to discuss his findings with us during the appointment. We previously made our own list of snags, but Lee picked up on things that we had missed/couldn’t see.
The report was emailed within a few days. The snags were clearly outlined with pictures to guide the developer when fixing them. It is incredibly helpful that Lee clearly stated how the snags do not adhere to our warranty providers guidelines so that we can use this as leverage to get the developer to put things right.

Matthew did a pre inspection snag on our new build 2 bed house, he was very through in his inspection and picked up multiple points that many including myself had missed.

He issued a detailed report on the property and then called to discuss it in detail to allow for understanding. The follow up care from them was spectacular and when the issues were raised with the developer Matthew was happy to be on hand to offer advice on their response on our behalf.

Overall we are very happy with the service and would recommend highly and use again.

Matthew performed a post completion snag on our four bedroom detached property in Berkshire which included thermal lite and cavity wall borescope services. Matthew arrived on time, he made it very clear from the outset what the process would involve on the day and what we would expect at the end of it. Very much recommend the thermal service, was very useful. Attention to detail was excellent, noticed things that you just wouldn't pick up yourself. Prompt response with providing the report which was clear. Very friendly service which even included a few mins after everything was done putting the drone up again so my two young kids could watch which they very much enjoyed. Would recommend Homesnag.

The website made it extremely easy to book a suitable time for me, Marius arrived early and worked around the house already being furnished. I had the report ready by the end of the day! I couldn't have asked for a better service, thank you!

We booked a pre-completion inspection on a 5-bedroom house and if I'm honest it doesn't seem great value for money. While I appreciate that it is not the responsibility of HomeSnag to communicate booking timelines with the site, they made zero effort to make the inspection run smoothly. Our plot in particular was the last of a row of houses, so it was separate from the ongoing works surrounding. The site manager for our developer requested the surveyor call him the morning he arrived but this didn't happen he simply let himself into the property whilst a trader was inside finishing off a job.

The snags highlighted were helpful but the large majority were confusing and left to the imagination, for example, the washing machine plug wasn't powering on because it was on a switched socket above, however this was left as 'confirm washing machine plug' - The same was for the fridge, it's on a switched set of sockets but the reporter advised none of them are working.

A few other examples to highlight are the external light was marked as 'confirm if operative' but it was operative with an LED bulb which to be fair, is hard to see in daylight.

Lastly a strip of cut off wiring was left in a cupboard, which wasn't live. This was marked as RED meaning it was sigificant, it was merely just an end piece left behind it was in no way connected to anything. Again leading back to the lack of willingness to engage with site the surveyor texted me telling me the wire is there, and may be live but he couldn't see anybody on site to tell? I find it hard to believe as there is a large presence on site and the site managers contact information was on file.

On reflection it is good to have somebody check over the work, that said it is only IF both parties are willing to communicate together. I'd say a lot of the highlighted were over-exaggerated to create a larger list and justify the price requested. If I was to purchase another new build in the future I'd most likely still use a snagger but it wouldn't be HomeSnag.

It definitely caused a lot more stress 7 days prior to us moving into a house I'd be led to believe had a ton of problems, when in reality it was merely an on-and-off button hadn't been pressed.

We chose home snag as we seen on social media. Booking process was seamless and there was no bother on changing dates due to completion. The report was thorough and very well detailed. I can not fault any of the process The pci have put us at ease knowing the horror stories out there. We would definitely recommend home snag without a doubt.
