Lots of missed snags during initial report. I was told the last desnag report could contain anything extra found when living at the property. They wouldn't include these in their desnag report despite being paid to do a second report and despite being told the builders had been contacted about them ages ago. Some were very obvious issues too. What's the point of the desnag report then? They just will print the same report stating if completed or not. I am sure myself and the builder are aware. I still had to make my own reports. It's not my fault they missed over 200 snags some very serious and obvious. Now I don't even get a last report as these missed items won't be included despite being obviously caused by the builders. Rather disappointed service. They didn't even check again thermally if there is any improvement on the issues stated in the original report at the desnag visit. I felt there was overall lack of compassion. I also asked a while ago to be contacted and this never happened. Disappointing overall. 5 bedroom house and most expensive package purchased. Money wasted...

Chris Mathews arrived punctually on the date of snagging, he went through everything and wrote a detail report as such we can follow up with the builders for the deficit items. Moreover, he also taught us how to use the boiler and radiator which we had been never used. Thanks for his hard work and Pippa’s arrangement and follow up.

Customer service always response promptly. They are very considerate to accommodate my requests to change the inspection date due to late notice of the completion date. Special thank to Pippa ! Malcolm did a great job inspecting our home. He was able to pick up so many things thoroughly that could only be picked up by professional. During the inspection, he showed me the major defects and explained to me those items need builder to follow up. The inspection report he produced is detailed and accurate. I’d recommend HouseScan.

Having been recommended the company by a friend, we have been left disappointed at the detail of the report. We had many items in the general section that are hard or impossible to find based on the detail provided and photos. Some of the items detailed in specific rooms were also worded very vaguely that it’s been difficult communicating with the site manager and his sub contractors efficiently. Having spent quite a lot of money for a 5 bed report, the inspector only spent half a day with us albeit couldn’t carry out the thermal element due to issue with heating, however would have expected a more thorough visit for the full price paid. We have subsequently found many more snags (appreciate we will find some through living in the house but some we felt should have been picked up by the professional).

Visited by a very knowledgeable Snagger who spent a number of hours checking all aspects of the property.

I've booked the snagging service on 18 Jan 2023 and Chris is a nice and helpful snagger, arrived on time and showed me some defects that I didn't aware.
I can get my snagging report in two days after snagging with detailed review of the apartment and followed by an email to advise how to share the report to our developer and providing helpful points.

Very friendly snagger and very detailed review of the house including advice and showed me where the rad pipes were in the walls to help with putting curtain poles up

The process was smooth and easy from start to finish. Darren our surveyor was brilliant, his attention to detail and direct approach, helped put us at ease around the concerns we had about our property. He listened to us and answered all of our questions supporting his answers with his vast knowledge of the industry. This has been invaluable with our subsequent conversations with our building contractor. He went above and beyond for us and for this are so grateful and would highly recommend Darren and his team at HouseScan to any buyer.

Darren was our inspector and he did a great job. He was very experienced and a very good communicator as well. For the issues he found, he explained what is wrong and how it should/could be fixed. He inspected every corner of the house with great care and detail. Even though we have purchased our house from a well known builder, there was some major issues that there was no way that we could find them but Darren could spot. We are very happy with the inspection and the inspector.

I moved into a new build that was finished months behind schedule. I was concerned that there would be many small issues, due to the final finishing being rushed. The HouseScan inspection was worth every penny, it picked up (many) small deficits I simply would never have seen. It gave me reassurance, and peace of mind, that I could present the developer with a professional report, and I could keep track of repairs done.
