I ordered kitchen restaurant equipment to sell on Amazon, everything was good, until the 3rd shipment, it was counterfeit products, Amazon ordered me to dispose of the products to the garbage, the staff at Hubert blamed their supplier and stopped responding to my emails. very sketchy business, please be very careful
Be very careful dealing with Hubert
I ordered from them on March 22 2023. Some stands and baskets for baguettes. I had just been burned using another company so when ordering from a company I make sure I record taking note of every promise. I dealt with employee 705. She simply made promises for delivery of when I would receive the products with a statement that she had put a rush on the order. I was also told if I did not receive a tracking number to call back. Well 3 days went by and no tracking number. I went to the invoice number and found it riddled with errors. The employee got my business name wrong, my address wrong and the kicker for me (the reason I canceled my order) was because the box that states rush or not was marked “no”. There were too many errors to be a coincidence so I listened to the conversation again and I was very careful when giving her the info spelling things phonetically W as in William and repeating things. I was dead tired when I ordered as it’s a new business and lots of work with little sleep and you could hear it in the conversation but I was polite so I can’t really imagine why a clerk would be malicious in this way however I do get the feeling of being messed with. Perhaps because I told her I needed to make sure the order arrived within the time frame I needed it by. Anyways, I canceled the order the first thing on the 27th and now they still haven’t processed my refund. The reason I’m posting the review is because employee 705 stated they were planning on getting to it on Monday the 3rd. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. All I can say is, every worker I spoke to sounded disgruntled and I my guess is the working culture within the company is not a healthy one. My suggestion is do not deal with them. They don’t deserve your business.
Over a month, no delivery
Have been waiting over a month for my order and beign told it is busy season waiting for order to be shipped. Excuse after excuse
They lie to get a sale
This company is based on lies. I placed an order for an item they listed “in stock” on 3-15-2021. When not hearing as to when the delivery will happen, I sent a request of information on my order. It took almost two weeks to hear back from them. They told me the item is now on back order till June. I asked why it shows “in stock” then to which they gave me a slurry of responses. I asked if they normally lie to get a sale and deceive customers? It has been nearly two weeks since they said it was not “in stock”. Yet, they still show it “in stock” lying to customers to get a sale even though they have been duly aware for two weeks now, that this is not true.
Avoid lying businesses like this to show they need to tell the truth.
Confirm your ship costs first
Ordered $30 worth of clearance items and despite being told the shipping was $60 in the checkout process, they charged me $333 in shipping. When I called they said the shipping was based on weight. there is no way my few items could have added up to that and even so you can't just change the amount after the order is placed. Shady. They have decided to credit our company the overage but they charged over $200 to ship one $6 item due to the size of the box (previously they said the weight). Wouldn't feel safe ordering from them in the future.
Credit card got skimmed on order
Credit card got skimmed on order. Ordered online at Hubert.ca and my credit card got skimmed as confirmed by VISA. Their website has a vulnerability. I do not advice to buy from their website due to this risk.

Great first experience. Customer service was mega friendly and knowledgeable. I will come back to Hubert before I consider any other vendor.

I was not given shipping cost before placing my order. After entering my shipping address it said we will contact you with shipping cost before shipping your items. No one contacted me, my items were shipped and i was charged over $30 shipping for $50 worth of items.
