Wonderful service - great attention to detail !

We recently bought a flat in London only to discover after moving in that the pub’s outside smoking area was underneath one of the bedrooms. Not noticing this before purchasing as the old window was frosted and had permanent double glazing. Mortified as I loved our new flat but sleep could only happen after 2am ! I then found Hugo Carter Windows. The whole process was so efficient and easy. Someone arrived to measure up and gave me options on frame colours and glass. After a few months once the window had been made 2 more people arrived and installed the window. They originally said it would take 2 days but would leave the window secure, but they worked so quickly and efficiently that they finished in a day. Leaving NO mess and NO sign that they had been there. I am more than happy with the window as it works brilliantly. You can’t hear a thing in that room now and it was the best money I ever spent. I’m now saving up for a rather larger window for another room. If you want sound proof windows, honestly look no further, they are amazing and really do the job.

It was a leap of faith to get the noise reduction we needed, and there were times after ordering when it took a while for them to respond to questions. However the product quality is exceptional (cancellation of nearby tube and wheely bags on rutted pavement) and installation was quick and efficient.

I highly recommend Hugo Carter as extremely professional experts in the design and installation of soundproofed windows.

Great noise reduction product

Sorted noise issues from trains to the point that they are no longer noticeable. Highly recommend if suffering from outdoor noise issues in your home.

We wanted to reduce noise from aircraft and traffic and improve thermal insulation but were concerned that replacing our metal framed windows may have an adverse effect on the appearance of our house.
The Hugo Carter team took great trouble through all stages of advising, planning, surveying, project management and installation, to ensure that we got the result that we wanted.
The quality of the workmanship was very good.
We are very pleased with the result.

I live in Wandsworth and the sound of aircraft was an annoyance and affecting my sleep. I had 8 period windows replaced with matching versions. They look great and are very high quality. But the most important thing is the noise reduction. I can hardly hear the planes now. It's not total silence as that's impossible but you almost have to listen out for the planes to hear them. This is one of the best decisions I've ever made and makes a notable difference to my quailty of life. I would recommended Hugo Carter and have in fact done so to one of my neighbours who wanted to see the windows.

I live on a busy main road (Lower Richmond Road) with raging buses literally 6 meters away from my bed. We have just had Hugo Carter casement 51 db windows installed and it is literally night and day! A good night sleep is priceless, so if you have sound problems I could not recommend this company more. They were also very polite, quick and cleaned up after themselves impeccably, which is the icing on the cake. A job well done and money well spent!

Hugo Carter replaced 9 sash windows in our house. Very high quality materials, construction, finish and service. Given the improvement the windows bring to security, sound and heat transfer, they have been possibly the best investment in a refurbished project.

Our property is situated under the Heathrow arrivals flight path within a conservation area. Hugo Carter replaced seven of our large old draughty single glazed wooden sash windows with like for like noise reduction double glazed wooden sash windows. After receiving planning approval from the council we requested quotes from several suppliers and engaged Hugo Carter based on their specialism in wooden sash windows, knowledge of noise reduction and fair price (not the cheapest but also not the most expensive quote).
A team of two professionals (plus one supervisor) installed the seven windows over a nine day period. They were very polite, have very high attention to detail and are true specialists in what they do.
Installation of windows creates dust (more than we expected) but the guys did a great job in trying to keep the flat as clean as possible and the cleaning team at the end of the installation process did magic too. We chose for the "premium installation" as we wanted a one stop shop solution which worked out well. All we needed to do is supply paint for the interior walls.
The new windows look beautiful, we notice a big reduction of the noise and the insulation of the double glazing makes the flat much more comfortable.
