Don’t cancel your curbside order

Ordering groceries online is such an awful experience with Hyvee and canceling the order is even worse!! It’s been a week and I haven’t gotten my refund. Was told I’d have to go inside the store to provide my debit card info and sign a piece of paper. Curbside pickup is to avoid going in the store. I won’t order from them again. Walmart makes the process so easy.

Yelled at from a company car

I was driving home and an employee driving a van clearly labeled "Hy-Vee Florals", honked at me for two lights, waited until I rolled my window down and proceeded to say "You almost f**cking hit me you b*tch. Get off your f**cking phone b*tch". I was on a call with someone at the time and I did not appreciate this behavior. I was not close or even near hitting this person. Being in a company car I was hoping he knew better.

Hy-Vee Plus Premier membership a joke!

Just signed up for the Plus Premier Hy-Vee plan for $99. I assumed this meant THEY were delivering your groceries for the included price. But no! What they don’t tell you is that Door Dash delivers them. So then Hy Vee asks if you will tip the personal shopper and also the delivery driver. If you order groceries twice a month and tip those people even a lousy two bucks each, that adds on another $96 for the year, now making the advertised price $196! Then, on our very first delivery. We noticed the Coke Zero we ordered expired that very day! So much for being a premium customer. I would never sign up for this lousy program again.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. Never ever do the aisles online here. I waited over an hour for my order and they didn’t even answer the phone. They laughed and made light of it like other people’s time means nothing. I will never do the pickup ever again and it’s not worth it to shop in store either. The store is a mess and I got food poisoning from the Chinese a few weeks back. WORST STORE EVER

The Website is Horrible

The website is horrible. Stock is almost as bad.

1) Every time I go to view my cart and place the order it tells me my cart is empty. I click start shopping and it shows my cart as full of items until I click view cart again.

2) Half of my attempted orders cannot be started because despite having selected my address, store, and delivery time, the website refuses to let me add anything to my cart until I select a store (even though it's already selected).

3) Every time I have ever had success with placing an order (maybe 10-15% of the time) half of the items I order don't arrive because they are "not in stock." Last time I actually drove to the store because it was a much-needed item and found it in less than 5 minutes.

1/10 only for the possible convenience, assuming it works.

1st-time user, Delivered too ?

1st-time user (order#15790582) ordered 19 items for $48.93 waited for 7 hrs only to find out my order was delivered somewhere? Well, it was'nt delivered to me. Was informed this happens quite frequently, fulfillment store Hyvee#1 and was told they would send out the order in the am was also informed this happens quite frequently. Door dash arrived but they were only given 4 items. The next Day, Again contacted Fulfillment Store Hyvee#1 spoke to a person who was very helpful. She immediately re-shopped my order and had it sent out. Kudos to Karla! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS! I give her 5-STARS
Not sure if I will use this service again, maybe a simple verification ?your phone# would help prevent delivery to wrong person Door Dash

NO PROBABLE CAUSE = RACIAL PROFILING

I WOULD GIVE NEGATIVE STARS IF IT WAS AN OPTION! SOMETHING HAS TO BE DONE!
We have recently visited a Hy-Vee store in Kansas City off of I-29 and Barry Road. My daughter, who is bi-racial, and I were in the store to purchase a few items during our mother-daughter day outing. After paying for ALL items we came in for in the self check out we were stopped by an employee that stated another employee witnessed us stealing. She made me go through my daughter's bag and asked me to dump the bag out on the floor. I told her I would not and she can direct me to the customer service counter adjacent to the self check out where I dumped the bag out. she saw nothing of course and walked away without so much as an apology and because of that I asked for the manager. The manager comes and while I am explaining to him what happened he kept shrugging his shoulders and saying ok ok ok. I told him he needed to look at the camera before accusing somebody of stealing and his reply was that he does not have time for that he tells his employees to stop somebody if they see somebody stealing. I told him I did not understand why someone would lie and say they witnessed us stealing when no such thing happened. is it because of the way we look or is it because my daughter is black. What is the reason. He can't seem to give much of an answer other than ok. I asked to speak with the person who accused us of stealing he wouldn't give me that. I couldn't get an apology or anything. I decided I wanted to return my things and during that time of returning he walks away and soon comes back and gets in my face and accuses us of stealing again. He demands that I dump out the bag and I tell him I did not take anything he told me it was my daughter so when he still does not see anything that would have been stolen from the store he accuses us of dumping it in the store somewhere. All of this is happening in front of a store full of customers and We are fearful and humiliated. not something I was hoping to experience on our day we were supposed to be spending together creating happy memories. I am trying to make some sense of this horrific incident. I can't seem to get an answer from anybody in the store that was involved that day and we should not have fear and anxiety to go into a Hy-Vee! There was absolutely no reason for this. I am not one to automatically throw the race card out but in this day and age with everything going on in the world today and the fact that they had no reason to suspect me or my daughter of stealing and they felt it to be necessary to humiliate us in front of the whole store the only other option is racism. It has to be. I have been contacted once by two different managers on two separate days after that and they left a message. I have responded in hopes to get this resolved and have heard nothing back from them. We have to stop making it ok for this type of bullying and profiling!

Hy-vee forgot my water with my online…

Hy-vee forgot my water with my online order and within less than 24 hours Sara contacted me. She was very professional and kind. She was accommodating to my schedule and very helpful. I will continue to go this Hy-vee because they always take good care of me! Thanks Sara and to all working during these hard times

Now HyVee thinks they are a fancy restaurant. I can't even get a simple snide of pizza Annie, in have to order the while pizza. The sushi is disgusting there and they created a while special largevkioskbfor their nasty sushi. I couldn't even find chinese food like I used to get. so I go over to the food that's refrigerated but already served up and the prices are the same for that crap $7 for a small rice meal with a few pieces of chicken on it are you kidding me? Get real Hy-Vee. Your head got too big for your body

Items were ordered and employees had no…

Items were ordered and employees had no clue where to send me to pick up items after waiting in line for 10 minutes, ridiculous to pay a fee for pick up when you basically take yourself to get what you purchased, first experience and definitely won't recommend to friends and family. I'll gladly continue to purchase from Walmart instead much more convenient and its free to pick up.

Beware of what you are changed online

Beware of what you pay for your online orders. Most of my orders have been OK. But last week I checked my online order history and found out that they OVERCHARGED my bank account by 80$, I was using my debit card, and I don't know about most folks, but missing that much money out of my checking account put me in a bind. What really bothered my is that the CS rep could not tell my why or how it happened. It took two days to get the money back. I have chosen to stop using this service as I'm afraid that maybe next time it will be more than 80 dollars. Where is the trust that they will do the right thing to begin with?

HyVee floral department

I live in Utah. I recently ordered flowers for my Mom through teleflora. The order was filled by Hy-Vee. She called to thank me, but when she described them I thought it sounded nothing like what I had ordered. I had her send me a photo. The photo showed some evergreen branches with 3 sad looking flowers. The arrangement I ordered had Beautiful red roses, white alstroemeria, miniature red carnations and white cushion chrysanthemums arranged with variegated holly, flat cedar, silver lemon leaf and frosted pinecones. I basically feel like I sent my Mom $100 worth of tree branches. Shame on Hy-Vee for accepting an order they knew they couldn't fill.

Won't use aisles online again

I used aisles online for 1st time & certainly not happy with results. I ordered 50 items & a lot from bakery. My receipt indicated it was $30 less than what I was quoted. I checked the breads & they looked like twisted hard knots. The young man helping me said he asked bakery dept. if these were ok & they said yes. I wouldn't have expected my dog to eat them. I had to go back in store & was given a credit back. Couple of other items were wrong too. Not good impression!

Groceries 4 hours late, items missing

Groceries were delivered 4 hours late, 4! Then when I checked the grocery list $70 worth of groceries were missing from a large order. I called, you have to wait until all the deliveries are made and see if the rest of your order is found. How long will that take? They had no idea. They sounded visibly annoyed. Missing groceries not found, I put a disputed charge on my credit card. Very unprofessional.

Delicious Muffins

This is a positive review ! Recently purchased Butter Rum Muffins at the Mills Civic HyVee in WDM, Ia. Hats off to the Bakery and whoever came up with the recipe ! They were exceptionally delicious .

Extremely disappointed

I ordered a turkey, green bean casserole and dressing on 11/20/2020 to be picked up on 11/24/2020. Upon arrival. I was presented with a turkey in a plastic bag frozen and the 2 sides that were small, but they called it large. I was told that "the turkey comes that way, but all you have to do is take it out of the plastic bag and heat it up a little bit." SERIOUSLY. To say I was angry was an understatement. This is the 2nd time this same store/same deli department has done this to me. If I wanted a frozen turkey in a bag, I would just go ahead and buy one from their meat department. To pawn this garbage off on someone is so much more than an insult. It is beyond words. I will never make the mistake of going to the Hy-Vee in Topeka, Kansas again. Nor can I, in good conscience, refer anyone to them EVER. I paid $61.09 for a frozen turkey. I am sick of this store. Never again. What I can say is that the store manager and a woman made every effort to make things right. They truly did. However, my trust is gone and I have no faith in that store nor will I ever again. I really do appreciate their efforts to make it right.

Bad option for online grocery shopping

I have used this service several times. Everytime I've used it i always receive food that expires within a day or two. I have had to contact them several times after delivery because I am missing a lot of items that I paid for. The last time I ever wasted my money on this service was after the gave me a gallon of milk that expired the day after I received it.

I typically like Hyvee for their…

I typically like Hyvee for their selection and their employee-owned business. But the online order pickup has been a nightmare. Constantly out of basic produce, or missing items, or ignored while waiting to pick up my groceries. One time I went to pick up my groceries and they said they didn’t have them done so they would deliver them. They never did and I called to ask what happened and they simply forgot, and the my order had gone bad so they said they would redo it and deliver. Then they delivered the order to the wrong house! I don’t even know how that’s possible. Finally ended up getting my food 24 hours later. I know COVID put a strain on grocery pickup but get it together you guys!

Never shop at Hy-Vee

Ok so I definitely don't recommend shopping here because when we ordered online to come pick up our food they shorted us almost every thing! I mean come on, we ordered 2 frozen pizzas and they gave us 7 and made us pay for it. We also paid for a ham and a turkey, they gave us the hame but not the turkey! So Hy-Vee is your goal to disappoint every customer that walks in your doors or orders from home?
IM NEVER SHOPPING THERE AGAIN!!!!!!

Crap customer service

Crap customer service. I would rather put my finger in a pencil sharpener than sit in line for 25 minutes because their manager would rather you sit in line for 25 minutes.
