If you value your time

If you value your time, be very cautious with iCarLease.

I was told the car was “in stock” and expected a quick turnaround, but the delivery kept getting pushed back with little/no clear updates every time I contact them the person he on thebphone or email he was telling me it's new car not come to the UK yet as soon I get update I will contact u , the question is if car in UK yet why u advertise car in stock . After around 4 months of delays, he avoid to reply my email and answer the call I did not have any option unless cancel the order and buy from somewhere else

The most frustrating part was the lack of proactive communication — I had to chase repeatedly, and expectations were set at the start that simply weren’t met.

Hopefully others have a smoother experience, but based on mine and other reviews I've seen I wouldn’t recommend if you need reliability and honest timelines.

Having used Rebecca’s services for my previous vehicle, I’m pleased to say the same high standards of service were delivered throughout once again. The process was straightforward, well organised, and completely hassle-free. I was kept fully informed at every stage, which made everything simple and stress-free.

Almost a 4 star or lower but Rebecca…

Almost a 4 star or lower but Rebecca Phoenix saved it.

Car was ordered far in advance and the delivery date did change a few times, after the last change was too far away Rebecca stepped in and managed to source an alternative for me which spot on.

Obviously delays are from the dealer or manufacturer of the car so cannot be wholly blamed onto the leasing company, but they kept me well informed and Rebecca was fast to respond and find a solution.

I approached Audi for a private price on the vehicle and they could not get near it! Overall a great price on a great car & would highly recommend Rebecca!

You are right on the delivery point, delays are usually down to the dealer or manufacturer. From our side, I am pleased we were able to step in when the dates moved too far out, source a suitable alternative and keep things moving for you. Rebecca did a great job leading that and keeping you well informed throughout, and thank you as well for being understanding with the situation.

Good to hear Audi could not get close on price either but most of all though, enjoy your new Audi A3!

Avoid

3 years of Lexauto lease, 9 months of Arval, and in between 2.5 years of icarlease.....and those 2.5 years, with a car returned numerous times to dealers, faults not rectified, difficult correspondence with icarlease over a few issues including early termination, servicing items, non-fault parking ticket issues....and reading others who have had issues.....and a phone calls from the manager of the brokerage......wouldnt recommend.

Hi Jeremy, Thanks for taking the time to leave your review. I’ll be honest, it’s disappointing to read a one star review given the amount of time and effort that went into trying to support you throughout the issues you experienced.

From our side, once the problems with the vehicle became apparent, we were actively involved in liaising directly with CUPRA and the supplying dealer to help get matters investigated and resolved. We chased responses, pushed for updates, and tried to move things forward where possible rather than leaving you to deal with it alone.

We also suggested you speak with the BVRLA independently to sense check everything we were doing. Their view was that we’d acted correctly and that the level of support provided was appropriate and above board, which we felt was important for you to hear from an external body rather than just from us.

It’s also worth noting that some of the faults raised were linked by the dealer to third party devices being plugged into the vehicle. While we can’t be certain on every point, the underlying issue here appears to be the car itself and the ongoing technical problems you experienced with it. As a broker and leasing provider, there’s a limit to what we can physically control once a vehicle is on the road, particularly when manufacturer level technical faults are involved.

That said, we’ll always reflect on feedback and look at where we can improve. We genuinely try to do the right thing for customers, even in difficult situations, and we accept there’ll always be cases where the outcome isn’t what anyone would want.

We do hope your next vehicle proves to be a good one and that you have a much smoother experience going forward, with no issues at all.

Great value car…

Great value car compared to other leasing companies - Audi A3 Saloon. Excellent communication from the team throughout and Rebecca was great, instantly responding to any question that I had.

Three years ago

Three years ago, i took out my first lease with iCar leasing and experience was brilliant. Three years later I have just take delivery of a replacement Ford Puma. The team, especially Rebecca Phoenix was just a pleasure to deal with. No hassle and never pushing to get order completed, just take your time. Car delivered when said and old one collected when said. Also thank you to the two Luke's. Would highly recommend using iCar leasing without a doubt

Fantastic Service

I initially looked at a few reviews as, whilst my other half has leased before, this was my first time.

After submitting a quote, Vik was great in communicating and running through my options and discussing which colours were available and approximate timescales.

I was told possibly early December and was delighted to receive an email offering late November delivery.

Luke was then great at communicating the available times and getting delivery arranged.

I took delivery today and I’m delighted with the car - the kids absolutely love it and can’t wait to get out in it.

Luke was very helpful all the way…

Luke was very helpful all the way through the process. There were problems with the dealership and he kept me up to date with everything to make sure any disruptions were dealt with quickly and efficiently. Highly reccommend

I've leased a number of cars in my time…

I've leased a number of cars in my time but this is the only company I've come across that wants to charge more money per month to extend a lease when it's over! Bizzarely, they think a 3 year old car which is now out of warranty and doesn't qualify for Roadside Assistance is worth more than a brand new one with all the benefits! Other companies I've dealt with have all been more than happy to extend at the same rates with 1 company simply saying " call us when you're ready and we'll collect it free of charge" . Of course all of this matters most when you're looking at a delay in your new car arriving. So, the moral of the tale is to only deal with those companies who are willing to look after you, there are plenty of them out there and avoid those who would take advantage when you are without a vehicle.

Hi Jim, Appreciate the review, though I know this has already been explained to you a few times.

Just to clarify again, your original monthly payments were lower because part of the total cost was covered by an upfront payment at the start of the agreement. Once that term ends and you move to an informal extension, there is no longer an upfront amount being factored in, so the monthly cost adjusts accordingly. It is not that we are charging more, it is just that the original payment structure no longer applies.

This is not us placing a higher value on the car now, and we are certainly not trying to take advantage. Informal extensions are there to help customers bridge short gaps, not to be a long term solution. And while some companies may approach things differently, this method is completely standard across the industry. It is just a case of how it is explained.

We have tried to be open and fair throughout, and I am sorry you still feel disappointed, but we stand by the process.

Amazing Customer Service

Vik and the team at iCarLease have been great to work with. Although I didn’t have the opportunity to progress with the order due to manufacture delays, Vik ensured me that this wouldn’t be a problem and cancelled my order for free! Highly recommend and you can definitely lease with confidence!

Icarlease -Excellent Customer Service Highly Recommended

I did extensive research on leasing companies and brokers prior to contacting I carlease.
I was first drawn to their really competitive pricing. I contacted them via email initially to ask a few questions regarding waiting times on factory orders. I wasn’t expecting any kind of assistance today.
How wrong was I.
Vik Zafar Account Manager was my contact and was brilliant from the start. He was very knowledgeable friendly and professional. He ensured that he had all the details regarding my requirements for a new car. Vik came back to me very quickly with a tonne of different options and took me through each proposal matching my wish list.He talked me through the proposals and it was refreshing to feel that I was able to make a decision without any pressure. Vik sent me the relevant paperwork and it was processed quickly and efficiently.
I placed an order today. Thank you .

Vik Zafar and the company are highly recommended.

I have found Icarlease, in particular Vik and Luke to be nothing but helpful professional and continuously providing updates throughout the order process. This continued right through to delivery. They even managed to re-negotiate the monthly fee to bring it down after the order had been received. I personally feel that both went above and beyond.

Best company and customer service

Following comparing prices- icar leasing not only came up as the most affordable monthly payment- they also came up to be the only leasing provider who did not charge a admin fee. In addition icar leasing were able to offer us our chosen car quicker due to them having stock where other companies had a longer wait.

To top it off, Rebecca who our personal advisor was a fantastic, she fully supported us through the whole process keeping us updated.in addition when Rebecca was not available- there were other dedicated staff who answered any questions

i have used other car leasing company’s in the past however due to the high standards of service and personal one to one support and great customer services with lowest prices- I will definitely consider using this company again.
