I was a bit cautious about this technology but it has proved itself to be perfect
I was probably one of Ice Energy's worst customers...constantly questioning them over the Air Source technology. I decided to go for it (previously we had been on oil), it has proved fantastic although sadly I missed out on the governments incentive to have it.
I am about to look into it again for another property..............update, I have reduced this to 3 stars as one of our tanks is leaking and they want to charge £248 to come and look at it. Ice Energy are less than 5 miles away from my property! Perhaps the after sales service is going to let them down??

we are always delighted to answer any questions you have regarding your heat pumps, and we appreciate your positive comments. Regarding the existing issue with the leaking tank, as advised when you contacted our technical department, both heat pumps are out of warranty so we would normally apply a charge for engineer attendance, however if you'd like to contact us again to purchase an extended warranty with servicing we can waive the engineer fee in this instance and only charge, if applicable, for any repairs/replacement relating to the existing problem.

Very professional and easy to deal with
Most companies wanted to sell us pellet boilers which in our opinion have many disadvantages very much like oil you are reliant on a good supply and have to cater for storage. ICE focus on heat pumps, despite the RHI incentives not being as large, meant we were given balanced advice and options for consideration. ICE were happy for us to visit their site near Oxford. ICE also surveyed our premise and made clear what upgrades to our existing radiators would be needed. They offered and subsequently trained our local plumber so that he could install in line with their recommendations.

Yes, fairly sure ICE is the best company I have ever dealt with in 35 years of home DIY. Excellent trouble free products, a professional and helpful team, that do what they say and more.

Ground source heat pump - galecroft
when I made the decision to install a ground source heat pump, i chose to go with Ice energy as they were recommended to me by a work mate. This is a decision that I have not regretted as I have found ice energy to be competatively priced and very good to deal with. The after sales team and commissioning engineer have been especially useful recently. I look forward to a long and happy relationship with ice energy.

We have used ice energy for two installations now. The first one we had major problems but because of the way the company dealt with the situation we decided to go back to them when we moved house to do it all over again!

AirX ASHP supply and commission
I am a self builder taking 5 yrs to build in my spare time.
The purchasing process was very straightforward and followed quite a few questions from me...no doubt some very numpty like! The support while I installed the system was very good and all query's answered quickly by knowledgeable tech staff.
Commissioning was a breeze with the Ice Energy tech whizz sorting everything easily and successfully.
If I had one slight criticism it would be with regard to RHI information. I know I should have read all the legal requirements and expiry dates etc, but no one in Ice Energy deemed it necessary to tell me that once the ASHP is commissioned you only have a 12 month window in which to complete the RHI process, that the property has to be fully occupied, or delay the commission date.
However, the system is great, the staff knowledgeable and the whole experience stressless.

Excellent pre-sales and technical support.
Used Ice Energy as part of a self build project. Excellent pre-sales and technical support allowing us to install an air source heating system with underfloor heating on all floors with few if any problems.

Ground Source Heat pump and underfloor heating supply
When we planned our barn conversion we had decided to go fo a GSHP and underfloor. We looked at several suppliers and decided Ice Energy were the most professional at a good price. Our choice was justified when all the kit was delivered when we needed it and our plumber got all the help he needed during the installation. Since going live nearly 2 years ago we have been very happy with the equipment and the quality of support when we have needed it
