One of the Worst Customer Service Experiences

I am extremely disappointed with how my refund has been handled. This review relates to order #881700.
On February 9, 2026, I was offered an alternative solution or compensation for an out‑of‑stock item, which I accepted immediately. Since then, I have been waiting for my refund. On March 12, 2026, I was explicitly told that the refund had been initiated as a priority case.
As of today, I am still being asked to “wait a few more business days” without any concrete timeline, confirmation, or proof that the refund has actually been processed. It has now been over two months since the initial agreement and more than 50 days since the refund was supposedly confirmed.
I repeatedly receive the same generic responses with no real progress or resolution. This level of customer service is unacceptable, especially for a remaining amount of €75.
I have now formally requested an immediate refund to either my Klarna account or my original payment method. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I can no longer recommend this company.

Will not refund me. Items out of stock and stealing my money.

I’ve shopped online over the last year and initially enjoyed each purchase. Recently I ordered several items; half of the order arrived and the half did not. This was not a general concern as they ship separately. So I waited about a week and no tracking was ever available, gave it a little more time and finally reached out via email, they responded as told me those items are now out of stock. They asked if I wanted a credit or refund, I stated refund, they confirmed. I also sent back a few items in that initial order for a refund. A couple weeks later I received a refund for the items I mailed back (perfect). I emailed stating I didn’t receive a full refund for the items that were out of stock and never delivered, they emailed promptly that there is a high volume and this would be expedited. I waited 3 more weeks (emailing each week that no refund), each response was professional and they are experiencing high volume etc etc. Now it’s reaching 2 months with no refund on items that were never delivered, that I was only told because I inquired, was told I’d be refunded and it has been well beyond a reasonable time to refund money that is not rightfully theirs. Only to be told they are working on it, which can be who knows how long based on a empty resolution. This experience is not a nice experience as it is simply way too long to drag on a customer.

Shipping and custom fees = 95%

I have purchased clothing from ICON in the past and have generally been happy with the clothing, HOWEVER, my latest purchase 2 pairs of the Savona joggers total $110. Was a different story. I received a notice from UPS that I would be charged $93.19 for duty/custom fees to ship to California on top of the $9.99 shipping charge already paid,
I’d not experienced this in the past and unfortunately didn’t take the time to read reviews. I did however hear back from them and should be receiving a full refund. I will update review once I receive my refund and am completely done with this.
I will not be shopping with ICON again!

Crooks and scammers

Very poor
Do not order from them
They are crooks and scammers
They do not tell you about the customs duty.
I refused to pay this and returned my goods I have waited 6 weeks and no refund in sight just generic email stating they are sorry I am frustrated, too right I am frustrated I’m out of pocket
Please do not purchase if you value your money.

Worst company and customer service ever .

Posting on behalf of my son who was a first time Customer …and is now a NEVER AGAIN CUSTOMER,I SHOUT LOUD …….DO NOT ORDER FROM ICON AMSTERDAM .. , customer service is completely rubbish ,I would even say incompetent especially returns , and all communications 1st package got stuck in customs, now returning to me after £15 postage no assistance from Icon , 2nd parcel contacted icon as found sizes not that accurate asked for assistance to return email said yes.. we can help you .. 15 emails later still been aired worst customer service ever I now have 6 pairs of trousers at a cost of £200 that don’t fit .. way to go Icon ,this has been going on from November and December I would never buy from I con Amsterdam’s if they were the last company that sold clothing. I recommend to everyone no to buy from Icon Amsterdam , so much hassle, I only left 1 star as I had to leave something to post , Personally it would be minus 10..

PLEASE DONT NOT BUY

I am not one for leaving reviews. HOWEVER, please no one order from this company. They are absolute frauds. Messed me around for over a month and then UPS say I need to pay £60 to receive the parcel due to shipping costs.

Hidden Fees. Dodging Customer Support

Wanted to give this company a shot. US buyer. There was NO mention of fees/tarrifs/anything of that nature. Bought a top and some jeans. $80. A fair price. Then I received a notice from UPS that there was another $80 in fees.

THIS WAS NEVER DISCLOSED

So I email support, since they don't have a phone number. They inform me that its the buyers responsibility. I told them im not paying it. So I go back to UPS to return it. They tell me its going to be $280 to ship it back. Obviously, im not paying that. UPS said to reach out to the seller to see if they'd pay return shipping.

I emailed icon amsterdam, who had responded previously, but for 3+ days now they have dodged my emails.

This place is such a scam. Ive ordered from international companies before without issues.

BE TRUTHFUL ABOUT ANY HIDDEN FEES. If I had known there was additional fees, I would not have purchased.

Shit tier customer service. Even if the clothes are amazing, they arent worth $160 for some jeans and a top.

AVOID THESE SCAMMERS. I even posted on their FB and they deleted my comments

TARIFFS

This is an absoloute dumpster fire of a company. They don't provide you with tracking, then make you pay import tariff once the package lands in the US.

Customer service is also not helpful whatsoever. DO NOT BUY HERE

Didn't think I'd end up wearing the…

Didn't think I'd end up wearing the fabio crewneck this much, but it's honestly become a daily thing. Fits bang on the shoulders and, thank god, it doesn't itch. I chuck it on for work or just heading out and it always looks decent. Not flashy, just easy and proper comfy.

Scammers

Ordered some trainers for my husband over 2 weeks ago and they still haven’t arrived. Contacted customer services who were quick to respond to advise i will receive the item 2-3 days after I receive the shipping confirmation. I received the shipping confirmation on 27/11 and I am still waiting for my order which was a present for my husbands birthday which has now passed. Customer services have stopped replying.
Joke of a company.
Please make sure if you also have a poor experience that you leave a review on their official trust pilot page which is ICON. so other customers can see the extent of their poor customer service, missing items despite being paid for and an overall scam.

They never inform customers that their orders may go through customs, and I ended up paying $210 in customs tariffs without being told anything beforehand.
On top of that, the package arrived after 2–3 weeks.
Also, if you want to return something, the return costs are your responsibility.

Only scammers operate like this!

I’ve ordered from this companyI’ve ordered Extremely Disappointed – Hidden Import Charges & Complete Lack of Transparencyfrom this company before before

I’ve ordered from this company before, as have several friends, and never once have we been asked to pay import duties. This time, just before delivery, I received a message from DPD demanding over £75 in import fees — something the company never disclosed anywhere during checkout, in their adverts, or in any sales material.

When I contacted customer service, I was told that import duties are the customer’s responsibility. This is completely unacceptable. If a company chooses to sell and advertise directly to the UK market, it has a legal and ethical obligation to clearly state any additional charges that buyers will be forced to pay. Hiding these costs until after purchase is misleading at best and feels deliberately deceptive.

I raised this with the company and was met with dismissiveness instead of any attempt to resolve the issue.

I will be sharing this experience on social media to warn other customers, because buyers deserve to know the full cost before they purchase — not after their order has already been shipped.

Would not recommend and will not be ordering again.

If you order in the US you pay double the headline amount

If you order in the US, you will be tagged with a 100% import tariff. You aren’t made aware of this until UPS sad you have to pay it to take delivery of your product. Long story short, whatever discount you get, it’s negated by the import tarrifs.

When I asked for a refund of this tariff (not presented at checkout). I was offered a $20 gift card (which would cover less than half of the next tariff I’d have to pay!)

Stay away from this brand.

Worst company ever stay well away from this company,I wasn’t told about import tax I would have to pay of £80 on top of the order ,refused delivery and sent it back they have had the payment for over 2 months now and still no refund sent had to set up a case against them.

Please note that according to EU consumer protection regulations (Directive 2011/83/EU), consumers have the right to withdraw from online purchases within 14 days of receiving the goods. This right applies explicitly even if the goods were purchased during a sale or promotion period. Therefore, I kindly request the acceptance and full refund for this item as per EU regulations.

Scammers

The quality of the clothings is really good although, after my order i didn't receive all my products and now already 4 months later. I've still no refund neither I received the articles....

Customer service is not responding at all. So don't buy anyting at this shop, it's a big scam!!
