Absolutely Disgusting

Absolutely Disgusting! How can you never of heard of a company, until they take money from your account!!!???
£29.99 taken from my Birthday money off my Dad - I'm distraught, as I never had the money in the first place! Now I'm flat broke, not even got petrol money for work!
They say it was all in the T&Cs to be able to cancel before 14days, so how come they couldn't send an automated email stating this information?? Nothing Received!
...... Because if they did do this, everyone would cancel & they wouldn't be able to GRAB any £29.99's!!!!!!!
ALSO, this system is so, so floored & a totally fraudulent way of conducting business because if we the customer, doesn't tick the box to show "Yes" we're in Agreement with the T&C's we surely wouldn't then 'secure' the application......then that would be a total waste of filling out all the requested information - Why would you not agree to them!!!?

This method of a company securing payments off unsuspecting innocent people, looking to secure financial help, is disgusting and this practice needs investigating - All that needs to be done, is to send that automated email, to provide customers with what's obviously NEEDED: Awareness - of the 'pending payment' out of your money, apparently now due!..... Even though you were looking for financial HELP & needed to obtain a loan for this - & were NOT expecting to have to pay out instead!
A dreadful experience.

Read terms before accepting them!!!!

People saying these are scammers, although their practices are abhorrent, you 100% signed up for their services when you accepted terms on backstreet/bad credit loan sites. But like the majority of people, you most likely just ticked to accept in order to get acceptance for your loan.

Luckily, i saw the transaction and quickly read i had 7 days to cancel their service for a full refund.

I have now stopped applying for loans through these 'Guaranteed' loan sites. In fact, pay some debts and wait a year and like me, you'll most likely get accepted for a loan from your bank.

I now make a point of reading before ticking any box in terms, just not worth the hassle (and cost!)

Identity Monitor lowlife scammers

Needs - 000 rating!
Applied for a personal loan . I provided my details as requested. At the end a small box came up asking to tick box to take a 14p payment from my bank to prove account was mine. I did this. 4weeks later a payment of £29.99 was taken from my account from Identity Monitor. I googled them, read these reviews and canceled my subscription. They say by pressing the acceptance of the bank check you sign up to a monthly subscription to their service. I then called them requesting a refund explaining what had happened. They couldn’t tell me which loan company they worked with but kept saying they worked alongside them. They also said i hadn’t applied for refund within 14 day cooling off period ( they didnt apply for payment for over 28 days). Saying everything was in the terms and conditions but thie box i ticked was just a box. There were no terms and conditions. I did not give my bank details to this company only the loan company so Identify Monitor have somehow attached themselves to my application.
Its a massive scam to take money every month from your account. They pray on the most vulnerable of people. I would not have been applying for a loan if I could afford to give away money.
Also a week after calling them they have obviously sold/passed on my details as another £40 has been take from my account today from a company in California and I am in The UK.
Scam Scam Scam. Be careful ppl.

This company should be stopped

This company should be stopped! I somehow unknowingly and unwilling signed up to this company. I pride myself on being very careful when it comes to dealing with companies online but these people are very crafty. Out of the blue I start having payments for 29.99 a month taken from my account. Their customer service is awful. Please get them stopped.

Can we please have a minus star

Can we please have a minus star. I have already reviewed this appalling abysmall excuse for a company, but felt so strongly regarding their practices I had to review again. On 2nd October I received an email offering a partial refund, however this was not forthcoming and Needless to say I am still waiting. This company if you can call them that need closed down and any major bank or financial institution that associates themselves with this farce are just as bad. Disgusting disgusting I will continue to leave negative reviews until people are aware of you and your unscrupulous way of extorting money from people that apply for loans

I’ve never heard of this company until…

I’ve never heard of this company until two weeks ago.
A payment of £29.99 was taken from my debit card without my consent.
I looked them up and apparently whilst searching for a loan, I had inadvertently given them my card details.
I’ve no idea how this happened.
Anyway, I cancelled the subscription and sent an email.
The money was refunded but low and behold the same thing happened last week to.
They acknowledge my cancellation but won’t refund me my money.
I can’t afford to write off £29.99 but I also doubt that I will get my money back.
My advice is just be careful when applying for a loan as companies like this prey on the vulnerable.

Identitymonitor tricks you into subscribing

Identitymonitor tricks you into proving your identity when applying for a third party loan, only to then charge you £29.99 every two weeks. This charge is hidden within their terms and conditions which wouldn't pass the fairness test in court.
