Reported for fraud

Never heard for this company until they tried to steal £29.99 out for my bank account, luckily it declined. Now I have to block and order a new bank card. Every review on here has experienced the same scam.

I have reported this scam company to Barclays for fraud.

Identity monitoring stole£29.99 off me

Last week I noticed £29.99 took out of my bank by identify monitoring, never heard of them, got intouch with bank and they gave me phone number, I phoned and a rude chap called Wayne answered , wouldn’t give his surname , said it goes against data protection lol he said I signed up with them in august and my free trial ran out so monthly fee of £29.99 kicked in I said I have not signed up for anything with them he said I did and cannot have a refund as against company policies, I said I scrolled back to July with my email searches and could not find them , no texts no paper work but he wouldn’t have it. I’ve had to get my bank fraud department to chase the money back , I’ve had to wait 5 days for the £29.99 to leave my account before I could get bank to do anything but now they are and hopefully I get my money back. I haven’t got a clue how identity monitoring got my bank details as I haven’t searched or clicked on any links I don’t recognise. This firm seems to be scamming a lot of innocent people. Be Aware of them.

STOLE £33.99 FROM MY BANK ACCOUNT!!!

These crooks took £33.99 from my bank account when I was on a "payday loan" website because of financial hardships caused by Covid-19.
I never received a loan - I'm pretty sure that NOBODY who visits these websites receive a loan of any sort, they simply get money stolen from their bank accounts because they didn't read the legalese jargon in their terms and conditions, or didn't untick a pre-ticked box hidden somewhere at the bottom of the page.
BE CAREFUL when inputting any information on a loan website of any sort. More likely than not you are being signed up to something you neither want, nor can afford.
No legitimate identity safety software has a monthly cost of £33.99.
They literally set up a direct debit to take £33.99 from you monthly and then hope you don't notice.
I have informed the police but am sure nothing will be done as they exploit loopholes in the inadequate online market.
I sent them a nice letter suggesting that they rot in hell. Maybe if enough people phone Watchdog we can get them exposed on TV? I will certainly be contacting them!

They capture your bank details through…

They capture your bank details through short-term loan text offers. If you need a loan dont ever follow any of the links on these 'apply now' or 'you are pre-approved to apply'( note it says to APPLY'. They ask for bank details to make a payment but these sites just send you round in circles, asking for the card details again and again, website after website. I very much doubt anyone actually got any sort of loan whatsoever. They target people with poor credit. At some point, you'll be advised you need to subscibe to this
ID monitoring service. It's nothing. Absolutely nothing , just some barely-legible jibberish on a website about checking your 'ID' online. There is no service.

Dont respond to spam loan texts or emails like this. They didnt get me but they tried. They are preying on the desperate

I have just sent my third message asking to be unsubscribed. There has been no communication from them to either of my previous messages and they continue to take money from my account every month in the meantime. DO NOT TRUST THEM AT ALL!
