Igist fish tanks

I ordered a fish tank through Igist over 4 weeks ago now. It was advertised on their website that my order would be processed within 5 days, however shortly after placing my order I received an email saying it could take up to 16 days. Over 28 days later and I am still waiting for it. I have tried every means of contact they advertised on their website and have heard nothing back. Will now be contacting my bank to receive a refund. Absolutely shocking service, do not use this company.

Avoid!!

Avoid!!! Big scam and time wasters!! Since 24 June they stopped answer to my questions!! Low life people who are playing with ppl money and time. Already contact my bank as fraud and I ll ask police to step in as well so they're web site to be shut down as don't see any other solution to stop this fraudulent company!!

Ordered 6 weeks ago and still no tank

Ordered 6 weeks ago and still no tank. Tried to contact many times via WhatsApp. Originally they were very good at communication when I had a failed transaction but now I am asking where the tank is I am getting no response. This seems to be the only place that responses are received! I will be contacting my credit card to get my money back. If they provide me with the aquarium I will happily amend my review!!

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE BUT GOOD PRODUCT

I ordered my aquarium on May 27. Aquarium 150x50x60cm OptiWhite, I was informed that the aquarium was supposed to be delivered within 20 days but it did not happen. So I wrote an email and messenger but I didn't receive any reply for a few days, so I wrote another email after which I got a reply that the aquarium will be ready in a week because they had problems with production. I decided to wait another week and got an email saying my aquarium is on its way and I will get it tomorrow. Unfortunately, the next day I got a message that my aquarium will not be delivered because it was damaged during transport because the delivery truck had an accident, so I had to wait another 12 days for delivery. Luckily after 12 days my aquarium was delivered and I got a £ 50 refund for the extended waiting time. As for the quality of the aquarium it is really good, I did not expect anything like that for such money. I have several more expensive aquariums that do not look so good, therefore a big plus. The edges of the aquarium are sanded and polished, the silicones are very aesthetic, you can hardly see them, really great effect, the best aquarium I have ever had.

@TO IGIST @ Improve communication with the client, reply to messages faster and everyone will be happy. It is always better to add more days of waiting for the aquarium, this will help to avoid the situation of delays.

In conclusion, if you want to get a good quality aquarium at a good price, I recommend it, if you do not receive any answers from them, write a lot of messages, and finally they will answer you.

Long waiting time but produkt ok

Finally, after more than 40 days, I received an aquarium. I am very dissatisfied with the customer service as I had to wait a week for a response. Improve communication and I will definitely recommend you because the quality of the aquarium is wonderful. it only gives 3 stars for the service but the product is 5 stars

Please avoid!

Please avoid!! They are cheaters and fraudulent I have reported them to the police and they are currently under investigation, I bought a fish tank and was never delivered, no contact, all efforts of communication was to no avail. Company does not exist, bunch of fake people operating from foreign countries

Bought a 150x60x60 aquarium

Bought a 150x60x60 aquarium , good size tank . One guy turned up with this huge tank and could hardly manage to take it from the truck ,got (3) three of my friends to help with the tank . A lid was also ordered but did not turn up , the driver told me that it will be with me next week and it’s almost two months and I am still waiting . I contacted them via WhatsApp messages but no reply , contacted them via Facebook messenger , I was told that their account was hacked . They asked me to send them my order number which I did and still no lid . Keith B

Never arrived and next to no contact, got chargeback via bank

I’m disappointed to have to write this review as I searched for a long time to find the perfect sized rimless aquascaping appropriate tank with clear glass.
I purchased this product as I saw an ad pop up on google suggested shopping after ages of looking for a 200L or so tank. I went ahead after a quick check of the score on trust pilot, seeing that it was 3.7 and thinking it wasn’t the best but not the worst and knowing if there were one or two bad experiences that was probably the reason for that score, I decided to go ahead.
I purchased my tank on 13th May and am happy to show the email in order to verify this. The email and website when purchasing give an estimate of 5-16 days waiting period until the tank can be delivered. This is wildly incorrect after seeing customer reviews and comments on social media, almost every single customer who has actually received something experiences a waiting time of 6 weeks or more.
I have had a good look at IGIST social media during my period when I was waiting for my tank and have noticed almost every post has rightfully upset customers complaining of lack of response and missing orders.
I understand that there are certain pressures with covid but this has been an ongoing situation for over a year now so I feel it’s being used as an excuse for bad business practice when every other small business I have used had more that enough time to adapt.
I have asked for updates on my tank through facebook messenger as this seemed to be the most responsive method, originally I had a few queries about the tank and they replied within a few days but completely dropped off once I started to rightfully enquire about why the tank hadn’t arrived within the timeframe given and needed to ask what was going on. All that needs to be done is to change the delivery timeframe given on the website and email - this is such a simple fix and I can see other customers have brought this up to, I don’t know why this hasn’t been done because surely it’s stressful for IGIST to get angry customers, no?
So it is currently June 25th and I have still not received an aquarium, tracking number or any evidence that my tank is legit, I have messaged repeatedly about it no no avail so have given sufficient opportunity for IGIST to rectify the issue if they are indeed a legitimate business.
After a bit of digging I can see that there is also some suspicious activity such as using photos that are not their actual tanks on their socials as well as not tagging the tank owners. There is also a reoccurring customer I’ve seen leaving more than one positive review - I also checked their socials and seems like they could possibly be a sock account (this is just speculative but look for this yourself).
I have decided to pursue a refund via a charge back with my bank account which has been successful. This is because there was just no responses to my messages despite being perfectly polite and reasonable. I’ve noticed this with all of IGIST responses publicly on social media, almost never replies as soon as people get critical, even on a fish keeping forum where people were discussing whether or not to buy from the business, IGIST doesn’t seem to address any criticisms that seem perfectly valid to make, probably because they’re right.
But yeah in summary, do your research and buy from a more legit business, I recommend aquariums4life as they have had decent customer reviews and a reputable fish keeping channel back them up (plus they seem to actually UK based rather than IGIST which implies it’s based in Warrington but is actually in Poland, avoid brexit related issues). I’ve basically been excited to finally start my tank and have been disappointed with IGIST Aquariums, had £300 up in the air so even if the tank was real, not worth the uncertainty as this is a lot of money to me.
Hopefully this is a legit business and they can listen to the criticisms to become a business people can have a stress free shopping experience with in the future.

I am very happy and pleased

I am very happy and pleased with my aquarium, I ordered a 840 litre tank and the delivery man helped me bring it in to my house. It came in 4 weeks, the only bad thing is the communication.

Said tank was going to be delivered…

Said tank was going to be delivered Saturday waited all day and nothing then I go on holiday the next day and they ring saying outside no sms to say delivery time then 1 delivery guy expected my neighbour to help carry in which is over 100kg and no trolley or 2nd person to help off load which is health and safety requirement ! If tank is damaged when I return from holiday i will wanting a full re-fund and compensation for my neighbour putting there back out !!!!! 😡👎

Exceptional quality, Flawless in construction

Ordered on the 29th March and received on the evening of the 8th of May by a very helpful delivery driver who had driven from Poland an had been delivering tanks all day across the entire country. I would like to see a quicker response time to messages , otherwise service would deffo be a 5*

10 weeks and waiting

I will be updating this review as time passes and if I receive the tank in question I will give a review on the product. However so far I am in the 7th week of waiting, I have been told multiple dates on when the tank will be completed and have even been given a delivery date but these have all been and gone. On my first attempts at contacting was through email however I understand they have had issues so messaged through FB messenger which I would have recommended as it was very responsive replies. This time round I have been messaging since the 01/05 daily and recieved no response as well as on WhatsApp. I understand with brexit and so on there might be delays however it felt like a continuous stream of excuses. I would advise them to update their customers with issues rather than them having to complain to their support as this would make me a lot more understanding if I actually knew a realistic timescale to expect the product instead of false promises. Also they should update the expected timescale of deliveries as it currently says 2 weeks on the website which is clearly not achievable currently.

Edit:
After receiving a response on the 12/05 I was told my tank was missing and can’t be explained and that a new one would arrive on 14/05(today).

Edit 2:
The tank did not arrive on the date given for the THIRD time and I have now requested a refund but am yet to receive a response I will be forcing a refund through if there is no response by Friday.

Final edit:
Having once again missed the delivery date I requested a refund and have now not received a reply. Considering other people have been getting their tanks on the same dates mine was due and been told the delivery van crashed so many tanks were broken makes me believe the company has been lying to me about every single excuse and I have now put in a request to my bank for a refund as I have no faith they will put it through to even respond to me.
