Fraudulent Scheme
Placed an order on May 8th and it’s now May 24th and I have not received it. It has been in the US since Nay 14th per the tracking but no one can tell me where.
Ordered the Ipart wig so nothing that needed to be customed. Now I believe that this is a fraudulent scheme. 150.00 dollars gone and all they say is that it’s with customs. Since May 14th! I call BS….

Buyer beware!
There was an issue with my shipping address of which I told them to update with USPS but eventually the item was returned and delivered to their address on April 10th. I’ve been following up with their team and to date they have not shipped the item back to me. Their excuse is until the logistics department receives the item then only they can ship it back??? It’s been a month and an half plus already and I’ve not received the item.

The hairband placed inside to make it more secure made the wig unwearable
The wig did not look like the wig shown. I asked for a small size cap but the headband placed inside seems to have put in the wrong way. With that said I was unable to wear the wig as it do not lay flat on my head. Waste of money.

All our wig cap is 22.5 inches with adjustable belt.
If you think it a little small, we suggest to braid your hair a little bit tighter, and wear a thin wig cap before you put the wig on.
Use the adjustable belt to adjust to the maximum, also to leave some of hair out
Because the wig not need to wear whole head (but don’t leave too much space).
Then used a curling iron to tidy up the hair close to the side of the wig.

This is a follow-up on 05/03/2025 I wrote them they offer me a partial refund and keep the wigs which was 40.00. This is what I found out customer beware. When they offered something like that Your card has already paid them the full amount of the wigs. So when You do that, You still owe Your card for the product You got. That's why it seems as if they're trying to help but it's not true, you're losing money. So I got Ilikehairwig address and sent the wig back to them with a tracking number I am expecting them to refund all my money back to my card company. It's not fare that consumers order from these companies and they send these bad quality products. And will not own up. Good luck I will keep You Posted. Next step if this doesn't happen next steps is file with the Department of Justice.

Chemical agents are needed to soften and shape the wig during production. Hair will also be sprayed with styling water to maintain the curvature when it leaves the factory. In addition, the hair will produce a little odor after being shipped through international sealed packaging. These are normal phenomena.
You can soak your hair in conditioner for more than 30 minutes and let it air dry without using a hair dryer.
Then apply some mousse on the hair and hold the hair from bottom to top to keep the curl, which will be better.
Since you opened a chargeback when returning the item, we have not received your package yet, so we cannot arrange a refund yet.
We will refund you after receiving your package, please don't worry.

False advertising, deceiving and scamming!
I was about to order 3 wigs, when I realized that the wigs seen on influencer's videos were not the same wigs Ilikehairwig.com was selling. When I visited one of the influencer's YouTube channel, I came to find out that the hair in the video Ilikehairwig.com used to advertise their wig, is actually a sew-in that the influencer posted a tutorial for on her Instagram, it wasn’t a wig! I was LITERALLY going to purchase an imitation of a hair style that the company didn’t have! Ilikehairwig.com is actually scamming customers and using videos to advertise wigs they don't actually have! I immediately emptied my cart and I unsubscribed from all their socials! I also discovered that they’re not BBB acredited due to complaints. I’m glad I did my research before making any purchase!

This company does false advertisement. The wig you get looks nothing like from the site. And on top of that, that don't want to give a full refund on returns. I paid well over $140 for a wig and they only want to refund me $35.

Very disappointing wigs
Very disappointing wigs. Fast delivery but poor quality. No typical customer service even whilst they use whatsapp for comms. Requests for support go unanswered. No returns policy is offered for when the product is less than satisfactory without extensive challenge. The short long pixy wig was il-fitting hair flyaway and cut wrong. The pictures and videos were misleading.
So i received a response from likehairwig today 21/4/25, and unsurprisingly there were excuses made for poor quality. I find no fault with the box packaging, very sturdy - no amount of shaking around in transit could have any impact. The wig itself is the problem, il-fitting is the only way to describe it. No full covering to the head or actual hairline. I was eventually advised that to return I would have to meet the shipping costs plus a deduction of £20. Or agree to a £20 refund on an £60 wig...in other words I was screwed either way! No amount of oil or combing would remedy a badly cut il-fitting wig...take your chances. You may be that 1 in 10...

I want to cancel at this point if the service is this slow. If I had read these reviews first I would never have taken a chance. So terribly disappointed. I just want a refund now.

BEWARE, unless you don’t mind losing your money!!!
On 11/11/24, I purchased a wig for $113. The website said it would ship within 2-3 days. After repeatedly contacting ilikehair, I finally received an email stating the order was being processed. The wig was received 12/7/25, approximately one month after ordering it. It was received very nappy and smelly. I was told to wash and condition it, but the website clearly states it has to be returned in the condition it was received in order to receive a refund. Well, when contacted they offered to refund me $20 and told me to keep the wig. Twenty dollars out of the $113 I paid for the something I can not wear?! That represents the quality of the wig they sent me!! When I refused the increased the refund offer to $40. Now, the website doesn’t say anything about having to bargain for a refund that you may or may not receive. Finally they sent me a return address and I returned the wig, provided them with the tracking number and notified CapitalOne. When CapitalOne contacted ilikehair, they lied and said the wig was never returned and they never agreed to a refund. Now I have to fight with ilikehair and CapitalOne to get a full refund. And to add insult to injury, I paid $20 to return the nappy, smelly wig to them and they have probably resold it, all the while lying to keep the $113 I originally paid. Plus, it actually comes from China, not the U.S. as they originally stated. That’s why it took so long to be received. What a SCAM!!! BEWARE, unless you don’t mind losing your money! (I have ultimately filed a claim with the Federal Fair Trade Commission).

Regarding your reply, you did not send me another wig. You simply told my credit card company that you did not receive the return item or proof it it’s return and therefore do not owe me a refund. That entire statement was false. So, yes, you do owe me a refund. I am not only disappointed by quality of the wig I received, but I am also disappointed by your poor customer service. It has cost me a considerable amount of time and additional expense to try to reconcile this problem with little or no assistance from your company. Thank you.

Inconsistent Quality
I have been buying from this company for three years and continue because I have not found another company that offers a clip in style that I like as much. Sometimes the unit is beautiul -- soft, with a great curl pattern. Other times its not.
Inconsistency in quality is the biggest drawback. I have always purchased the same wig. Sometimes the cap fits OK, other times it has been way too big. Sometimes the wig lasts a long time with no shedding. Other times, it sheds from day one and gets thinner and thinner over time -- to the point where people start asking if I've cut my hair! The most recent purchase was terrible from day one. It was over-processed -- the color was so black that it looked like a bad dye job. The texture of the hair was frizzy and tangled right out of the package and even after conditioning and detangling, looks good for just one day before going back to a frizzy mess. Finally, there was massive shedding from day one.
In the past when I have tried to leave a review on their website, they refuse to publish it which is why I'm leaving one here.
