Excellent hotels, reliable drivers, good guides.

We had a great holiday in Vietnam. The tour guides were all excellent and very accommodating. When my sister’s plane was late arriving, the company quickly organised for her to be met later than expected. The guides were very knowledgeable and answered all our questions, or found out the answers if they didn’t know. The hotels were all excellent and the quality of the food was also excellent. I can’t fault our holiday really. It was a great experience. The only thing that we didn’t like was all the plastic rubbish floating in the water.

The tour of Angkor Wat was excellent. Our guide MR Muny was very helpful & considerate. We had one person who wasn’t as mobile as the other 3 & he made sure she could do most things. Also he pointed great spots for photos. The whole tour was brilliant finished of with a lovely lunch & a krama thank you

I travelled in a group of 4 and everyones needs and abilities were taken it to consideration. The tour was amazing the guides, drivers and hotels were excellent. All our needs were met in every location and the transfers went smoothly. We had a morning balloon trip which was excellent and our beech extention at the end was relaxing and a wonderful end to the trip. Thank you to nikki the agent to arranged everything. Odyssey Tours arranged the most amazing tour for us! From our first communication with them (by email) to our travel arrangements, tour guides, drivers, hotels and itinerary, it was all absolutely faultless. Excellent company!

My brother and I were very pleased with the Vietnam tour arranged by Odyssey Indochina Tours; from the excellent service and coordination by Mia Wang to the knowledgeable tour guides. Our overall experience with them was very positive. I highly recommend this tour company and plan to use them again for future travels.

A friend who travels in the Far East recommended Odyssey Tours. We had a change of plans, so decided to try them out for a quick 6 day trip to Vietnam and Cambodia. I was amazed at the fast response from my agent Foring. Such a complete itinerary for our first visit. I was bowled over by our tour guides and drivers throughout too. We liked them so much we extended our stay for Hong Kong with their planning. Cherry Wei carried on as our agent for the rest of the trip. We’re so happy with Odyssey that we just booked another tour to Morroco next month!

We were treated to private airport transfers throughout. We were helped at the check in for both air and hotel. This helped when our flight was cancelled and our cruise of Halong Bsy was delayed by weather. Our guide, Thong, got us on an even earlier flight! And got us into a suite at a 5* hotel while we waited for weather to clear.

In Siem Reap, Khemerit gave us private and insiders tours on the temples. He was knowledgeable of the history and politics. We were met at our private van with cold towels from Belmont.

In Hong Kong, Hellina and her driver, Joe, gave us a couple of days of great tours of the main sites allowing us some private time on our own. Through all of our experiences, we learned so much more than on a group tour.

Indochina Odyssey DELIVERS! Will recommend Odyssey, Cherry Wei and her colleagues to many of my fellow adventure travelers.

This month we went on a 15 day Odyssey private tour through Vietnam and Cambodia. It was a very pleasurable experience. Everything was organised to perfection. Communications were first class. The tour guides in each location were extremely knowledgeable, and friendly, and as well as seeing a vast number of interesting sites, we learnt a lot about the country and its people. Hotels selected by Odyssey were excellent, transport all worked well, food was terrific. We can highly recommend Odyssey and will be using them again.

1. What do you think of your consultant?
Mia you were fantastic. I was not very involved in the booking of the tour directly, but with all of the communication that you sent there were no questions unanswered. You were very knowledgeable about the area.

2. What do you think of our guide service?
All of the guides were unique in their own way but all were very knowledgeable about their areas and the attractions. They were always open to answering our questions. There were also things that you would not have thought about as a first time visitor such as where to get great photos and interesting side experiences and how to get great bargains.

3. What do you think of our driver service?
The drivers were good and we always felt safe. The vehicles were always clean and comfortable and well stocked with water.

4. What do you think of the hotel service?
We were happy with all the hotels that we stayed at. Each represented the type of experience the area of the country sought to offer. They were always warm and welcoming after a long day touring.

5. Do you like the meal we arranged?
Most of the meals were excellent. There was one bad experience at a large all you can eat buffet toward the end of the trip. All in all though, the food was beyond amazing.

We booked a tour from Bangkok for a week in Vietnam Hanoi with 2 nights on board a cruise in Ha Long bay

Odyssey handled everything for us ncluding return transfers hotel to / from BKK airport.

We were met by our guide Trinh on arrival at Hanoi airport and taken to our hotel in the centre of Hanoi old Town (La Siesta Trendy). The staff here were great and the room was spacious clean with great facilities. Breakfast was comprehensive and relaxed.

We had a 1 day tour of Hanoi with Trinh whose knowledge of Hanoi and the history of Vietnam is encyclopaedic.She was so helpful and keen to make sure we covered everything we expected to see and do.

Days 3-5 were aboard one of the Lavella cruise ships. Again this was all organised by Odessey and Trihn escorted us the 3 hours drive to the ship.

The crew were also really friendly and attentive remembering our names and cabin. There were only 25 or so passengers aboard and the whole atmosphere was incredibly relaxing. Our cabin was sizable with a king bed and outside balcony with large picture windows. Meals were included our only extra costs were drinks which were reasonably priced and the cocktails were expertly mixed! Our only minor point was that on day 3 of the cruise we weren't able to take the tender a second time to Titop island as apparently we only paid for one visit. Overall we had a really relaxing time amongst stunning scenery.

Trinh met us from the cruise and escorted back to Hanoi LaSiesta the staff remembered us which was a really great touch. We had a different room in what may have been an older (west wing) part of the hotel and this wasn't quite up to the previous rooms standard (shower partially blocked and air con was a bit rattly)

Our last full day was to Bahdinh temple complex and the Tran Ang lake and caves. During the 2 hour drive Trinh kept us informed of sights on the way and of aspects of Vietnamese culture.

At alltimes Trihn checked with us if there was anything we wanted to know and liased with other local people to ensure we made the most of our short time.

Overall a really great experience and value for money. We would certainly book again with Odyssey.

We chose Indochina Odyssey Tours for our trip to Vietnam. The representative who took care of us was Mia Wang. On the phone or by email she was wonderful at answering all our questions and listening to our requests. While on the tour she checked in with us several times to make sure everything was good. We made a last minute request for an additional tour and she was efficient and extremely helpful. We would definitely pick this company again and especially work with Mia.

Oustanding tour organization. It has been an impressive tour, covering all the expected in a very satisfactory way. It deserves to be strongly recommended.

My husband and I just returned home from an unforgettable 25-day day tour of Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos. To say that it went well beyond our expectations would be an understatement. Our tour was arranged to the minutest detail by Mia Wang of Indochina Odyssey Tours who helped us customize our trip considering our personal interests and the appropriate pace for our age. She guided us on all our needs and, while our tour was ongoing, checked in on us occasionally to make sure everything was running smoothly. At first, we were concerned that we would be exhausted taking five internal flights and having to change hotels every two to five days but the pace of our tours was not rushed and we always had some time to ourselves to regain our energy, enjoy a massage or take a dip in the pool. Yet, we saw the most amazing sights, learned a lot about the history of each country, and dined like royalty…all without breaking the bank. We wish to mention especially our guide in Saigon and the Mekong Delta, Nguyen Hoia An (Andrew), who was scholarly, kind, and attentive; Linh Tran, who guided us in Hue, Danang and Hoi An, a dynamic, bright, and cheerful young woman; and Vannak who impressed us with his mastery of the history of the Khmer temples around Siem Reap. Our hotels were exceptional--we felt pampered as each of them gave us a welcome drink upon arrival, or a welcome massage, or "mocktail" with snacks while we were checking in. The included lunches were always delicious and abundant and gave us a true flavor of the cuisines of all three countries. The drivers were skillful and always had a bottle of cold water and cold towel ready for us. One of them, Nhat, who drove us from Hue to Hoi An, even engaged us in conversation with his outstanding English. Most importantly, the people we met were warm, hospitable, and attentive and they added greatly to our enjoyment of the trip. Our personal thanks to Mia Chang and two thumbs up to Odyssey Tours for a very well-organized exceptional tour of Indochina!

Although we did not make a booking eventually, Nikki has been very responsive and helpful to answering my questions. I hope I will get a chance to go on one of their tours in the near future.

The Odyssey Tour we took through Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam was excellent, very well organized. The guides and drivers were accommodating and friendly, really demonstrating their love of their countries and happy to share it with us.

One of the best tours I have ever experienced. Three of us toured Vietnam for 10 days. Mia Wang was the best! She answered every question promptly and took care of everything, even getting our seat assignments for our in country flights. Having our own driver and guides made the experience evenbetter. The guides were so informative and personable. The excursions were fun, interesting and varied. Our hotels were top notch. I highly recommend using Indochina Odyssey for planning your visit.

First time traveling to Vietnam and we couldn't be happier with Indochina Odyssey Tours. Our agent Nikki was very helpful, giving advice and ensuring we were happy with everything. She even made some changes for us when the weather turned bad without any fuss. We were particularly happy with her responsiveness as she replied to our emails no later than the next day and often the same day, no matter what. The tour guide they chose for us, Mr Tung, was awesome and we had the most amazing trip. We would recommend Nikki, Mr Tung and Indochina Odyssey Tours to anyone.

We booked our trip to Vietnam and Cambodia with Nikki and traveled in mid-February 2018, and returned in early March 2018. We had a wonderful experience! All of the tour guides and drivers were excellent, the accommodations were very nice and comfortable and the activities that were part of the trip were interesting and fun. We we surely recommend Odyssey Tours to anyone looking for a customized trip experience.
