Excellent cover with some additions. My dog is four this year and I've had to change policies due to unreasonably high renewal prices. In those cases the cover was not great, so I'm learning I also ne... See more

Good easy to use website with options to tailor the insurance needed. Good competitive pricing as well.

Really easy to set up the policy and great value relative to comparable policies from other providers.

Easy to navigate once I'd made my choice of cover levels.

Took numerous chasing over two months for them to accept a straight forward claim. Not great when the vets are getting impatient and start sending you bills worth ££££!
They gave me the wrong information first time round which lead to a delay.
They eventually paid up after I complained about the issues.
I also had a name change after and they tried to say I could only hand over ownership to someone else if I died... How can I hand over ownership if I'm in a box 6 foot under? And I'm not changing ownership, I'm still me?!
Again common sense was not used and after I raised the fact I have to legally abandon my old name and they are breaching law by not changing it did they suddenly have a pathway to sort this out. Again not without hiccups and pointing fingers.

Good price for the cover provided and easy to set up

just joined as your price was more comparative than our renewal and all our concerns and what was covered was explained

Early days yet but procedure so far was easy

Claimed on my dog having had to take him to an emergency vet.
6 weeks later despite chasing on their contact form I’ve had no communication and the Davies group website just says pending. I have no idea what the status of the claim is and like other people have said here the claims process seems incredibly poor in terms of communication.
I wouldn’t recommend insure your paws on the basis of what I would have thought would be a relatively simple process - if my dog hadn’t gone to the emergency vet, there was a chance he would’ve died

I've had insurance with them for over 5 years. Now that I've come to a claim, it's an extremely slow and frustrating process which has been ongoing for 3 months.
They respond to my email once a week, asking a single question, I then have to wait another week until they ask another single question. What's worse is they'll ask questions to which I have previously provided an explanation, which then results in another 2 weeks delay.
The claims process is shockingly bad. I wouldnt bother to use them for any future pets.
Update 18/09:
Credit where credit is due. Since the review and speaking to them on the phone, they've escalated the claim and logged a complaint, I've now had confirmation of settled, all within 3 days.
I wish it hadn't come to this but wanted to thank Insure-your-paws for taking accountability and resolving the matter so quickly.
Review score updated.

Good price and good customer services on the start of the policy

Used them for years for a claim for my dogs skin and they have been brilliant and my vet had always send the forms via email and they have been paid
but my recent claim seems to have been taken over by a Davies group, and Iv had to ring various people, send various emails, fill in different forms and even after a promise of a payment in 5 days (minus a load of deductions) it still didn't arrive.
Dont recommend now they have changed, you won't get your claim

An unexpected payment appeared on my account which I stopped. Rather than discuss or explain they just stopped my insurance. I tried to explain but to no avail. Payment was to Blue something or other, provider of credit for monthly payments it seems.

Great price for the level of cover, getting the insurance purchased was very easy with the online application. Just hope that I don’t need to use it too much.
