Good for weekend eye infection.

Good for weekend eye infection. Didn’t need to wait at an urgent care clinic with sickness surrounding me. Would have been better if the primary bronchial infection could have been treated with antibiotics that triggered the secondary pink eye. I got eye drops to clear up pink eye but still have bronchial infection with cough 30 days after coming down with bronchitis and paying for both urgent care one weekend plus connect care the next.

I was skeptical at first

I was skeptical at first. But once I started talking to the doctor, he actually listened and it was neat to see a one-on-one with just the doctor and take care of the issue that I had. I think that I would most definitely do this again.

Fast and easy!

I was out of town and used Connect Care. It was very user friendly and I was able to get the medication I needed. It was fast and efficient. I would definitely recommend this service to others.

I called about my fourth bout with bronchitis in a year hoping I would get an antibiotic without having to leave the house in this cold weather! If they cannot prescribe over this service what good would it do to anyone. For health questions there is always Google!

Long wait, inept & unprofessional provider, billing/charging errors, and incorrect prescription

The wait was very long, and because of this, I didn't feel the "ease of use" that ConnectCare markets. Once the provider was available, she seemed to want to end the connection within the first 30 seconds without listening to my concerns or reviewing my symptoms or situation. I'm an RN and in the end I had to tell her what I thought the problem was and I had to tell her the prescription medication for the condition. She sent the prescription to my pharmacy and when I went to pick it up, she had written the prescription in an extremely low dosage (about 1/10th of what it was supposed to be). I guess I should have told her the dosage too, but I thought the provider would have at least a basic ability to treat. Any of my nursing colleagues could have diagnosed my condition and prescribed the correct dosage.

I think a refund is warranted based on the following factors:
1. I didn't receive the service, diagnosis, or treatment that I should have (and would have received if I'd visited an Instacare).
2. My SelectHealth insurance should have covered the visit but the system required me to pay the ConnectCare fee and stated that I would receive a refund when my insurance paid. However, SelectHealth was never billed properly, so I never received a refund.
3. I had to go to a physician appointment the following day so that I could get an accurate prescription.

Excellent Service!

Other than the wait to connect with the doctor, once I did connect, she was excellent, and diagnosed my problem precisely, stating she would not rule out an appendicitis, and suggested I go to the emergency center of the nearest hospital.

Waste of time

It was the second I have used the services, because I was sick, had flu like symptoms, a cough, fever and could not get an appointment with my regular physician. It was a waste of time. However, I was not charged for the visit and told to go to urgent care for a 45 minutes drive and a 200 min wait time

First one great, second...not so much

In the first call the physician assistant was very personable and listened to everything I had to say. She did not think it was flu and prescribed medicine for cold symptoms. By evening I was feeling much worse and called again. This doctor seemed perturbed that I had called again. He said if I don't have a fever, I don't have the flu. He acted like he could not wait to get me off the phone. Next day I went to the hospital and was diagnosed with flu.
As far as I am aware...I never had a fever.
