Rubbish service - go else where but not Rushden lakes

The young lady was excellent, however the Manager was arrogant, stuck up and totally unhelpful, I would not pay him with peanuts, total idiot.
I asked for his name but he would not give it.
I wanted help with a day old new iPad, he wanted to charge me £25 for any help given, I told him what I thought of Apple service , he then asked me the leave the shop. I am 78 years of age, and should not be treated like that by a jumped up Pratt like that. Not the service I expect.I was not aware of charges being made to rectify problems with day old product that people people were not familiar with. Yes I was annoyer but in no way was I racist, I apologise for being annoyed, but it was understandable.

What is unreasonable is threatening to physically assault and make racist remarks towards our staff.

Phenomenal Service in Northampton (Grosvenor Centre)

I enjoyed a fantastic customer-service experience at the iStore in Northampton, when purchasing my new MacBook.

Despite arriving just 20 minutes before closing, the staff remained incredibly patient and welcoming, even while handling a busy store.

Welja and her team went above and beyond to explain the trade-in process clearly and ensure everything was completed smoothly.

Their knowledge of the products was flawless and they had all the answers to my questions without missing a beat.

They even stayed a few minutes after closing to finalise the paperwork, so I could walk away with my new MacBook that evening.

Their professionalism, kindness, and dedication to customer service were all truly outstanding.

Highly recommended!

Chester store - Jack - superb employee

Visited the Chester store with my very old and no longer used i-phone 6 - which had some extremely important pictures on it of a recently deceased Family member. Jack was so so helpful and considerate to me - he not only managed to retrieve the relevant pictures for me - he also got ALL the pictures from the old phone for me & transferred them all to my new i-phone.

He is a credit to the store - I can never thank him enough for both his help and support and also his kind words.

Hereford store

Hereford store, what a waste of time, took a iPhone in there twice to get a replacement battery, first time they use every excuse not to do it, said the sim had to been in the phone to replace the battery. Took in a week later after a hour the rang and told me they could not do it because the screen was stuck to the phone body.
Took it into apple and they had replaced the battery in 40 minutes….

When performing battery replacements, our team follows Apple’s strict repair guidelines to ensure the process is completed safely and correctly. In your case, we encountered complications with the device, including the screen being firmly adhered to the phone body. This presented a risk of further damage during the repair, which is why we couldn’t proceed at the time.

Regarding the SIM card, Apple guidelines also state that we cannot perform any repairs if parts of the phone are missing. In this case, the SIM tray had been removed from the phone, which would prevent us from completing the repair properly.

We’re glad to hear your battery issue was resolved, but it’s important to note that our technicians operate within Apple’s protocols to prioritise the safety and integrity of your device. If there’s anything further you’d like to discuss, feel free to contact us directly.

Misleading Service and Overpriced Repairs – Go Elsewhere

I visited the iStore as it is an Apple-recommended store to address an issue with my iPhone 11 screen, which was unresponsive. The staff informed me that the screen was broken where the sensor is located and quoted £219 for a screen replacement. They also claimed that the sensor would need replacing but still quoted the total cost as £219—the same amount listed on Apple’s website for just a screen replacement.

This seemed odd, so I questioned the claim, but the staff insisted it would be difficult to find another store with a compatible sensor for my phone. Skeptical, I visited another repair shop, where I had the screen replaced for £70. The phone works perfectly now, and no sensor replacement was needed.

The staff at the iStore provided misleading information to push their expensive repair service. This experience felt dishonest, and I cannot recommend this store. Save your time and money by seeking repairs elsewhere.
