They had some changes in the team, so we had our ups and downs but since Sylwia Chlopek (property manager) joined the team the experience is always very positive. Great communication, never leaves you hanging and super professional.

Rachel Kasule from Jackson Stops maintenance team, has been extremely supportive with an existing property issue.
She contacted the landlord, kept us updated and help find solutions to solve the problem.

I initially approached this company after viewing a property they were marketing and considering making an offer.

However, I was told they wouldn’t take on my own property as it was “outside their remit.” This didn’t appear accurate, as I’ve since seen them advertise several similar properties in my local area, both in size and value.

When I challenged this, they reluctantly agreed to proceed. Unfortunately, their overall manner came across as rude, patronising, and unprofessional, which did not inspire confidence. As a result, I decided to instruct another estate agent.

Sound advice and very helpful guidance throughout the entire process of selling one property and buying another from initial listing to exchange of contracts. Played a crucial role in ensuring that all involved in a lengthy chain achieved the desired result. Chris kept us fully informed throughout.

I suddenly stopped receiving rent from my tenant even though I received confirmation of the payment every month ; thanks to Anya Carlyle this has been resolved
and we are back on track ;

Asked to view a property on Bures Road and was told I had to provide proof of funds before even being allowed a viewing. I understand proof of funds is needed at offer stage but demanding it just to view a house is unnecessary and comes across as rude and intrusive; the tone felt more like an interrogation. And for clarity, questioning an asking price is not the same as being unable to afford a property. In a previous transaction, we declined to overpay for a house we did not believe was worth its asking price, and it later sold for significantly less. That is a valuation judgement (a mistake by the same agent), not a funding issue.
In any case, the interaction felt dismissive, rather than professional. Plenty of other agents manage to handle high-value properties professionally without treating potential buyers like time wasters. So choosing to take my business elsewhere.

We had a viewing with Tom, although the property was not for us, Tom and the team were fantastic. Great customer service, would recommend.

I would like to thank Jackson Stops Teddington, especially Zyan Ansari, for the speedy sale of our flat, at the asking price, at a very difficult time for selling flats. Zyan, Harry and Sophie were patient, professional and positive throughout the process.

Amy at the Weybridge branch was very communicative and did an excellent job of showing the property I saw, pointing out the features that might be attractive.

I can recommend Jackson Stops knowing the service i have received over decades has been brilliant. The relationship with Anthony Jevons at the Jackson Stops Hale office is built on 30 years of buying and selling property through Anthony and his Jackson Stops colleagues at the Hale and Chester office. The professionalism shown by Jackson Stops has been brilliant on each property sale and purchase, and i wouldn't consider using another estate agent for a UK property. One of the properties that they sold for me near Chester via Stephen Cheshire in Jackson Stops Chester office was sold for £170,000 over the asking price, and the property they sold for my mother in February 2025 in Bowdon sold in just one day after signing up Jackson Stops to sell the property, and there were an additional 4 people due to view it the following day!!!

In what was initially heralded as a 'tricky' market, your Bridport / Dorchester team secured the early sale of my 17th Century thatched cottage, achieved far in advance of my expectations. My particular thanks goes to Philip German-Ribon who resisted my early suggestion of a higher marketing value, by persuading me of the importance of setting the initial asking price appropriately to respond to prevailing market conditions. To receive and hold sale at the asking price was more than I could have reasonably expected.
