First, the team at the office is amazing, and they really get back to you, and they helped me find a slot literally last minute after another company backed out at the last minute. They are also quick to fix and apologise when things might go wrong.

On top of that, Ollie, Alan, George and the guys are fantastic. Alan went above and beyond what I could ask for, and Ollie and George were accommodating and made things easy for me. They were all very smart and understood what I wanted perfectly, and asked when they couldn't remember instead of assuming and trying to rush through the job. On top of that, they were a breeze; super fast. We also used their storage and again, everything was great. If anyone needs to use delivery/storage services, these are the contacts. I recommend them so much after so many disappointments! :)

I was really impressed with the level of service JamVans provided - efficient, timely & very friendly!

We were finding it difficult to find a removal company as we were only given 2 weeks notice to move and it was just before the change in stamp duties. We were really happy that JamVans were able to move us from our home in Bedfordshire to Norfolk. The arrangements were that our essentials would be loaded onto a small truck on the Friday and transported to our new home and everything else would be loaded on to a very large lorry and taken to their depot and stored for the weekend. It would be then taken off the lorry and be delivered to us in our new house on Monday. We were happy with the team that arrived to load up our furniture on the Friday and the guys that delivered everything that day were hard working and took great care in packing and unpacking our furniture. We were really pleased.
Unfortunately things then started to go wrong. On the Monday our furniture was apparently reloaded onto 3 smaller trucks to be driven to Norfolk. We had taken the day off of work ready for delivery . On the way one of the trucks was stopped by the police and sent to a weigh bridge. It was greatly overloaded. Another truck had to be sent to help with the load but the tail gate on the overloaded van had broken and the furniture couldn’t be transferred. This meant we had to wait until Tuesday for the majority of our furniture to arrive and therefore take another day off work and cancel meetings in London.
Once our furniture eventually arrived and was unloaded we started to notice that some damages had occurred.
A leather sofa was scuffed and scratched on both sides. An oak table had been deeply scratched. Two light shades were broken beyond repair. A chest of drawers had been dropped by a fork lift and completely smashed. A garden table had been badly scratched as had a bed frame. Furniture that we had carefully looked after had been damaged.
The majority of our furniture had been moved from one lorry to another several times and no care or thought had been taken as to how it was packed, stored, carried or unpacked. It had all just been crammed into smaller trucks.
We felt as that the guys moving our furniture just didn’t care. They said they were running late and asked if it would be okay if they didn’t put the bed frames and wardrobes back together. We had paid £4,500 for their service and this was something we had paid them to do so said we would like them to rebuild our furniture. We now know that this was a mistake.
A brand new bed frame was put together, screws being over tightened and the wood split.
One guy putting the wardrobes together hadn’t got a clue what he was doing and said he’d never done it before. We have subsequently taken the wardrobes apart and rebuilt them ourselves.
Following our experience with JamVans, we put in a formal complaint listing all of the things that had been damaged. It has taken over 4 months for our complaints to be resolved.
JamVans arranged through their insurers to have all of our furniture repaired and this has been done. We have had to pay the excess on the claim for the destroyed chest of drawers.
We had been relieved to find a removal company that were able to move us at short notice but our experience with JamVans has not been dreadful and we would not recommend their services to anyone.

I had my UK belongings stored by JamVans for 6 years - far longer than expected - and I just had all the items delivered to my new home in East Devon. The items remained in perfect condition, no damage, no rot or otherwise. Harvey and Rio were very lovely to deal with on delivery. They moved my items in quickly and with great care. The service met all my expectations which is just what I needed in my stressful move from Luxembourg back to the UK. Just a note, JamVans also moved me UK to Luxembourg which was again an issue free experience. Much appreciated!

We did an international move with JamVans and were very satisfied with their level of service. Ryan who did the delivery of our goods (post customs) was outstanding. Kind, professional, helpful and keen to go above and beyond.

Moving out is always incredibly stressful, but JamVans made the process incredibly easy. The crew picked up all my items in only 10 minutes, and were careful with my items. The only reason this isn’t a 5 star is because the payment charges are made for 4 weeks at a time instead of 1/2, but otherwise fantastic service!

We're using JamVans to store some things while we have work done on the house. Being in our 70s we didn't want to have to move it to self-storage ourselves. JamVans provided the ideal alternative. Rute in the office booked us in efficiently. On the day, the team of Chris, Joe and Phil, were friendly, arrived on time and had our stuff quickly and efficiently labelled and on the van in no time. They walked round with me to check that nothing had been left and sent a photo of it safely stowed in one of their containers later on. We only needed half the space we'd booked and with JamVans you only pay for the space you use.

A really positive experience from start to finish: from the initial outreach and agreement on price and dates, to JamVans accommodating our changes due to moving dates of the property sale. Professional, respectful of ourselves and our belongings and detail oriented. JamVans were recommended to us and now we are happy to recommend them! Our removal from the flat was managed by Matt and Aleix and the re-delivery and re-assembly to the new address was done by Chris, Jack, Ed, Phill and Joe - absolutely top team on both occasions!

This is the second time I have used JamVans for a move from UK to France and on both occasions the service has been smooth and effortless, on my part at least. The people packing and unpacking were super-efficient and professional, as well as kind and reassuring. Not one item was broken or damaged on my first move and, second time around, only one item was partly damaged. The administrative process, including customs requirements, was also handled with efficiency and ease. I would, unquestionably, recommend their services and use them again.

Arranged pick up from my flat in Kingston, a month's storage and drop off in my place place in Ashford and their service was absolutely first class.

They turned up promptly and on time for both collection and drop off and provided a really friendly service. It felt like they cared about my gear and made sure everything was covered and boxed correctly.

The back office were great and Emma was really attentive and came back to me promptly on every query and was incredibly helpful.

I'd happily recommend and ould definitely use again.

Chris and Akill managed my removals and storage perfectly! They were friendly and moved my boxes quickly and efficiently, even with a long walk from my front door to the road. Chris kindly offered to send me a photo of my things in the storage container once it got to the warehouse, so I could see how much space was left. I really recommend working with him and the Jamvans team.

UPDATE: Profuse apologies from manager, Owen Thomas ( and a financial titbit), so we're back in the real world, on good terms now.

Chris and Michael arrived looking positive and friendly . They made me feel at ease straight away. Chris kindly explained everything clearly. It was Michael's first day. Chris guided Michael so well which allowed Michael to perform his best. Both of them were a dream team.
Both were dependable and approachable. Chris and Michael went the extra mile and produced high-quality work. Took great care of every item they moved and took time to label every item carefully and accurately.
Both have shown a remarkable level of responsibility and dependability, especially in challenging situations. I am so thankful and grateful for both Chris and Michael's excellent effort and care. Both of them are a real credit to the company.
Jake was great from the start when I decided to use Jam Van for my move. Always patient and friendly. I was very stressed about it. Jake was brilliant every step of the way.

I booked a VERY last minute move with JamVans. Jake was extremely helpful in booking the job and very friendly and responsive. The movers who came to help me were Matt and Covel. I truly cannot thank them enough. They have been AMAZING and went absolutely above and beyond to help me when I (and the flat) were in a bit of a state! The moving team were great. Had an issue with timing but my manager responded well. I would recommend this company as they really did try to go above and beyond. Chris and Callum were polite, speedy and handled my items well.
