I bought White Oak components to replace our existing painted handrail and banister. The components received were packaged well and delivery was as specified. I did have a problem with an additional newel post cap that was damaged. The problem was addressed very quickly and I was sent a replacement, virtually overnight. I would definitely recommend J & J products.

I’ve been dealing with J J stair parts for several years, Quality of timber is excellent and service consistent. Very friendly and helpful staff. On one occasion I had missed calculated the length of a bespoke rail they manufactured and delivered on the same day. So I could finish the Job.
I would highly recommend!

Decided to go with J&Jstairparts for refurbing my staircase in oak. Prices are competitive and excellent range on the website.
I phoned to place my order (recommended) as I required a bespoke curtail step making. The woman in the office was excellent in talking me through the parts I ordered. I was given a time frame as to when the parts would be ready, which was very acceptable.
They quoted me for glass to go inside the handrail but they are quite pricy with their quote and the information they needed wasn't as I wanted to do the job so sourced elsewhere.
The only thing that has let the company down is the delivery of the parts. If they want some constructive feedback then take a little bit of time to arrange a delivery day for the items to be delivered!! They turned up unannounced and I was lucky my partner was home to take delivery as she would normally be at work. I wouldn't of thought that leaving oak out in the winter weather would be a good thing?? Otherwise I was happy with this company

I ordered some oak stair parts last month. The quality was amazing and the service was excellent. The company make all the parts here in UK. I asked if they could modify the post size to fit in to my stairs. Nothing was a problem and the price was good. This company knows what they are doing. I will be returning to you guys on my next job.

I asked for some advice before purchasing to check I was buying exactly the right bits I needed. After leaving a message, someone came back to me very quickly and helped me.

I ordered a number of oak newels, mop handrail and other bits and then added to the order the following day after deciding to extend the project. Ordering to delivery was quick. Although the 3 packages were very well wrapped, one newel was damaged where clearly the edge had been bashed into something. I sent a photo to the company and received a very quick response saying they would sort it out. The next day I had a call from the workshop and the promise a replacement would be shipped that day. It arrived the next day (today).

The oak is lovely and I am very pleased with it. However, the true measure of a company is how they handle things when they go wrong (even if due to the courier). I couldn't be more pleased with the way this was dealt with. I wouldn't hesitate to order again.

I had a really bad experience with this company. I Ordered some glass balustrade panels. First of all they forgot to put the order in, weeks later some glass arrived but was the wrong size. Every day I was having to chase up and call and never getting a reply or a call back, and even got told by the managing director that my ‘attitude was the problem’. If you want a professional service, DO NOT USE J AND J STAIRPARTS!

First order from the compqny was really good. All parts arrived and we were kept up to date with the order process, couldn't really jave asked for anymore. Unfortunately when requirung yo place a second order i contacted them as was after a quicker delivery time. Store pick up and next day delivery were both offered on their website. When speaking with their customer adviser on the phone I was told these were no longer possible and it would be 3 to 5 days regardless. I made the suggestion of updating the website to prevent misleading people to which I was informed it wasn't her job. Well it shouldn't be my job to tell you to update your website either.
So, if you place an order and it goes through fine, great compqny, if you need to talk to them or have any certain requirements, go elsewhere.
