Excellent Gym .. been 7 times in 2 weeks ... Absolutely immaculate... Can get on every machine I want no matter what time of day .. staff around all the time for help and cleaning. Excellent service.

All staff very friendly
All staff very friendly, never been to a gym before so trying different classes and joined an 8 week weight loss program with one of the instructors so all good and very sore at the moment, sure it will get easier, no pain no gain as they say.

Good and plentiful amount of kit with plenty of space. Ian and the rest of the staff are quite friendly and supportive. Isn't too busy in the morning and can get everything done, but haven't been during the day or evening yet.
Only critique is some members need to learn to put kit away!

Really impressed, had a membership at another local gym and never went!
As soon as I walked into JD gym I was greeted by friendly ,helpful staff.
The gym is really clean 👌 has a great selection of equipment and classes
The space flows organised really well.

I joined jd gym because it had a sauna…
I joined jd gym because it had a sauna and when I got there the sauna was broken and there was nothing on website or anything to say it was broken. If I knew I would of went to a different gym.

Nice gym but needs more free weights!
Started this gym two weeks ago and so far I'm enjoying it! There is plenty of space, it's clean, well ventilated and its never too busy when I go, around 1.30pm. Also loving the sauna in the changing room! When the staff are there, they are friendly and helpful too.
There is lots of different types of equipment to use from free weights to functional but there isn't enough of them. For such a large gym to have only 1 set of dumbells in sizes 4-10kg is ridiculous! Need more free weights!!!
Also the app is pointless, it's only for contactless entry and really needs to be updated to do more. I also don't know how to book a place in classes.

Our timetables for classes can be downloaded and found on our website on the 'find a gym' tab and then by selecting your gym location and scrolling to the classes section. Regarding booking classes, these are included with your membership and are run on a first come first basis and there is no need to queue when waiting for a class, just simply pop into the studio and stand on the markers available. 💪
We do have plans to develop our app further in the future, but for now we're just using it to allow contactless entry for our members and it does that wonderfully well.

Nice clean and friendly gym.
Nice clean gym. I was greeted politely by Ian who had a great manner and fun rapport with other members. Nice vibe about the place. Clean and quiet when I visited for the first time. Ian also very kindly loaned me a padlock as I’d forgotten to bring one. I’ve just also signed up my daughter. Lots of good equipment and lots of cardio machines on the second floor. People in gym seemed sound too. Hot and cold showers and sauna are also great. I would recommend.

Just joined
Just joined. Looks pretty good, couldn’t find anywhere to top up my water bottle though.
Plus the showers, there’s only 6 in the male changing room, which I thought seemed a low amount, plus 2 of the units, the shower heads are missing spraying out water in every direction but at you, and the others are very sporadic when it comes to temperature.
So I think this is the biggest let down. However I’d did appear clean and tidy.
