Cheaper prices would be great, so that we can use other gym establishments.
Really good gym, great machines.
Do miss spin bike sessions but understand giving the amount of space available the cable area works fine.
Staff are all very helpful

I haven’t been able to cancel my membership. I’ve emailed multiple times and am unable to log in with the app

It would be much appreciated if sanitising stations were added around the gym for health and hygiene purposes

gym is quite good, but some equipment hard to push and not so good maintenance. Also gets too crowded so I have to even delay using some equipment :(

You are taking 10 days to change from Cardiff city centre centre to llanishen so I tried to cancel and start again. You take 30 days to cancel!!!!
Your systems are utterly rubbish!
You need training and not in the gym!

Utterly awful , dreadful unkept equipment and area , and on top of that three attempts at cancelling my membership, but they insist on squeezing your soul out and milking more money out of customers and throw in the 21 day cancellation, will never recommend and never return

My account was suspended on the basis of supplying a bank details which do not support direct debit and this has been changed but still I can’t have access to the Gym. It is frustrating as it is my first time going to the gym

JD Gym in Cardiff City centre is having renovate in open area and all the meachine are lined up in a mess.
No consideration of the position of meachine which cause overcrowded in the gym. Lighting is poor inside, only got colour lighting and make the place feel ever smaller than usual.
Last but not least, after the first visit of the gym, I decided to quit it and it have written that there is a 3-days guarantee cancellation with direct debit, so I am good with the first month that I paid but there are no response from JD after I summit the cancellation form with will cause my direct debit keep running and forcing me to keep paying the gym from at least 2 months, which is really unacceptable.

Enjoying the Pilates class.
Noticed that you don’t have facilities to give ‘in case of emergency’ details.

There is a lot of maintenance work happening at the moment in the Central Cardiff gym so I there's much less equipment available to use and no spin classes

some of the instructors are rude and not welcoming to new people. Did everything she could to humiliate and degrade. Laughing making comments like “you look so young” on a microphone in front of about 30 people. Put me right in the front, laughed and said “you look nervous” I said no not really. I then felt really sick after about 10 minutes of the workout so bent down to have water. She then stopped everyone, laughed and said shake it off. I don’t usually allow people to try to humiliate me but I thought it was best I leave. She then went on the microphone, laughed as I was walking out and shouted “it’s not for everyone, it’s not for everyone.” I had to leave the gym before doing something stupid... If someone doesn’t feel well while training & needs a break, instructors shouldn’t announce it to the whole group on a microphone or laugh out loud. Absolutely disgusting behaviour will never be doing a class with them again. First class & most definitely the last. People shouldn’t have to feel embarrassed about their weight or what their body can take in a workout. Absolutely shocking!

Worst gym to go. I recently shifted from gym group to JD but JD is not good. I am talking about cardiff gym. The bench is not stable showers there is only 1 cold shower (There will be a queue). It has been 2 weeks and the equipment which need repair are still kept like that.
Also if you have entered the gym once and if you want to come back again you have to wait until someone comes and open it for you.
There is cycle park and also lift to carry your bike but never saw the lift in working condition.

I tried to join the Cardiff Llanishen Gym for my son, somewhere along the process it defaulted to the Cardiff City Centre, so when he tried to use the gym at Llanishen he was refused access, even though they could see he had only signed up 2 days pervious.
The hassle we have had over this. Neither the Llanishen gym nor the city centre gym could switch his membership to Llanishen. I have had to create a ticket to cancel the membership at City Centre, which is going to take 21 days.
I have rejoint him at Llanishen paying the reduce 1st month again, but even this has gone up from when we 1st joint online from £10 to £15.
What a complete waste of everyone's time. Surely the gyms should be able to act on a change of location. Personally I would have gone to a different gym, but he wants to go with friends.
