The first day I attended the gym I asked a question to one of the members of staff all he was very sarcastic and the a few of the staff just laugh at me. Making me feel worthless. I went home and cancelled my membership.

I have been attending JD Gym for about 7 weeks now. All staff are friendly and helpful. The Gym has a welcoming atmosphere and I feel safe in my environment. I never feel judged or self conscious. My PT Taylor is awesome. He is very encouraging and focused on what I want to achieve. Highly recommend Taylor and JD Gyms.😀

Flexible gym and great glasses. It would be helpful for new comers to be welcomed into classes and advised what equipment they need.

Decent enough gym. A large variety of machines, but the machines aren’t the best quality, which is to be expected of a gym chain rather than an independent gym. Can get what I need to get done here, with no problems. You get what you pay for in terms of quality and experience.

Had my first session with Lee today. What a lovely gym, relaxed atmosphere, great staff, well equiped. I was nervous before going, now looking forward to my next session.

I was shown round by a very nice & helpful young lady called Emily. As an older person I was feeling a little nervous that I may ‘stand out’ but was so pleased to notice a very varied age group. As I havent been a member of a gym since before lockdown I am breaking myself in gently. Well at 75 I have to be sensible!

Good amount of equipment. Spacious and well laid out. Excellent classes.

Gym is large with plenty of machines which is helpful as is super busy most of the time. Always cleaners hoovering and tidying, plenty of stations with cleaning products and paper towels although nobody seems to bother cleaning down the machines after themselves! Lots of classes and good opening times.

The gym has lots of variety and good classes. I’m a woman and I’ve never felt uncomfortable there which is important

Great facilities with spacious floor plan. Loving the classes. Just would like to see a general induction of equipment and maybe a suggested generic work out plan initially to give confidence on machines and give structure to workouts. Think this would encourage people to take up further PT sessions I think 🤔

What a refreshing change. Modern and invigorating, making the whole experience really enjoyable. Staff are so proactive too. Assist wherever they can.

My wife and I have recently joined the gym in Darlington and immediately felt at home. There is a vast array of equipment and free weights and we were able to exercise side-by-side throughout. The changing rooms and showers were immaculate and we had a thoroughly good experience from start to finish.
