This gym is the worst I have ever been in my life. The worst of all the countries I have been living. Even in Glasgow. The me changing rooms smell awful. The hygiene is so bad that I have never smell something like this . Not in a public toilet , you can’t breathe. Disgusting. Way too many people in the gym, more than could have. Just moved here this month and will be leaving soon to any other one as I bought a house nearby but cannot wait to finish this month.

Very nice gym but there should be one more in South glasgow. Too busy all the time.

I live next to Jd South and still chose to travel to JD East Kilbride due to the level of uncleanliness! The showers and sauna are stinking of urine theres quite clearly an issue with the toilets and has been for months big brand like JD dont want to spend the money to fix the issue! The general smell in the gym is just off putting to be honest. The equipment could be doing with an upgrade considering the other gyms in the glasgow area are also getting an upgrade.
Changing rooms were dirty with rubbish left lying on the floor, No running water or hand soap at the toilet taps. Strong bad smell also in the changing room. Also, no cleaning stations to wipe down equipment after use so equipment left with sweat on from use. However, a good mix and quantity of machines and equipment with plenty of weights to choose from.

The gym could use night cleaners, particularly in the men’s locker rooms which are regularly messy with puddles all over the floor, and rubbish everywhere which could be easily sorted by placing some more bins around. The locker rooms could also use more benches for changing, and much better water pressure in the showers.
Equipment wise the gym seems to offer a lot but, it is extremely busy in the peak after work/evening hours which isn’t great for getting a workout done quickly.

Almost perfect. Staff great, nice facilities.
Problem is people using their mobile phones in the female sauna, watching Netflix, doing video calls and even live streaming. Perplexed as to why people can’t just relax in a sauna and leave the phones locked away for 15 minutes.
It’s very distracting and I find it hard to relax, also have to wonder what kind of electro magnetic frequencies are being created by having a device in such a hot infrared induced environment. Also, no one wants to be accidentally recorded in your video call!

I think it needs to be a little bigger and I think the assortment of dumbbells should be monitored a bit more but other than that it’s a great experience and will definitely be back.

First time I’ve used the gym since joining. Staff are really great and friendly but I noticed there isn’t any cleaning equipment for wiping machines, weights etc down after use. Maybe have some blue roll and some cleaning spray dotted round the gym for people to use, just an idea!

The gym is very busy and you are waiting to get onto a machine however the wait is not overly long. Good quality and range of equipment. My only negative point is that the showers are cold or at most luke warm. No temperature control that you can change yourself. Other annoying thing is that the shower auto disconnects really quickly. Sauna is really small and so far have not had the opportunity to use it. I have only been there a couple of weeks and I will keep using it for the next few months and will re-evaluate if I remain to stay or leave.

Nice contemporary look. Vast majority of equipment in good working order. Great to have access to sauna unfortunately it’s past its best days but still works. Biggest downside is cleanliness and hygiene in changing rooms and toilets in the afternoon/evening it’s really bad and nothing is being done about it. Gym with good potential but doesn’t seem to be looked after very well.

Joined for the 24 hour access and big selling point being use of a sauna. First time going, sauna not turned on during its operational hours. No one about to explain. Already considering cancelling, pointless selling point if If staff aren't bothered with turning it on.

The gym is dirty.
The machines need to be cleaned. There doesn’t seem to be any cleaning solution or cloths so member cannot clean machines.
The toilet is filthy and often has rubbish or waste in them.
Considering cancelling my membership.

It is a new gym to me. No offers of orientation or initial guidance that would have been good.
The app is not as helpful as other gym providers and I am not sure if the classes book on the app as it is not obvious when i try to do so.
The positives are I am having a good
first week of membership and
members seem friendly and focused. Equipment and space seems great and I am happy being a member so far.
Thanks All

There are no equipment cleaning facilities.
The entry system only allows you to enter once per day which is outrageous.
