LADIES GYM
Excellent gym with great facilities and highly recommended. The staff are very helpful and friendly also the environment and equipment is very clean. New members need to be aware that the ladies gym at this location is not open 24 hours as advertised and closes at 10pm. This is due to health and safety reasons which is completely understandable. There is the option to go and work out in the main gym after that time which is good however this may not suit everyone, specifically those who can only use a ladles gym or prefer them. This fact has been reflected my rating for the Kirkstall Gym, Leeds.

24hr Gym which is secure and clean
24hr Gym which is secure and clean. Even the cleaners are happy and perky . I train at 4am a chap called AL spoke to me very helpful happy and polite and thats the cleaner! Well recommended plenty of machines and spacious!

Overall Excellent Gym
Having only really used commercial gyms such as Puregym my expectation we’re not very high but after a few session at JD i have been proved wrong, the amount of equipment is extensive, i have only ever had to wait to use equipment once which in comparison to other gyms is pretty a pretty rare occurrence. The location, facilities and staff are all brilliant. i would highly recommend this gym to anyone no matter what experience you have in the gym

The best gym in Leeds
Really nice and helpful staff
The vibe in the gym is just right
And nobody gives a f********k in this gym - it’s great. You just get on with ur workout and everyone else gets on with theirs. No one stares at u or cares about what ur doing. Really friendly people go to this gym. Serious candidates only 💪

meh. the people suck.
The gym is massive and contains a lot of equipment. However, no one respects the equipment and nothing is ever put away or cleaned (by the gym-goers). The toilets are always messy, too.

Some nice stylish environment
Some nice stylish environment, but a bit lacking and equipment is not as good as other gyms. Benches are smaller for example.

I left the gym because you put my price up from £10 to £20 a year ago, I was expecting the gym to have changed but a lot of a equipment looks the same from the old X4L, plus some things look unsafe like the cables. You need to fix the equipment. The gym is also still super busy.
