I feel the music seems to be wrong selections and they seem to repeat regularly I come in at set times due to work shifts and I see to hear same music I get abit fed up of hearing the same music especially for motivation purposes plus its not what id call gym music. Other then that I enjoy the friendly atmosphere but can get abit frustrated when waiting around to use set equipment if already occupied.

I know times are changing, but A lot of youths with phones setup recording everything, don't even feel like you can have a conversation with a friend anybody without it being broadcasted..

** UPDATE**
This place is carnage haha, if you're unfortunate enough to train between the hours of 5pm-8pm, this place is heaving, i suppose all commercials are but this is next level at times. You'll have people many times at prime time taking up both cables on the crossovers, not to do fly's but doing arms and using both sides of the cables without even offering to let people jump in, just grunt 8 sets left haha, people bringing benches over to the crossovers to do fly's at prime time - there's chuffing pec decs and benches for days - why take up a cross over at prime time to do 10 sets of fly's lol..... 3 - 4 man deep to a machine a lot of the time....as mentioned below this gym could be insane, it's huge, and has so much potential to being one of the best in the area in terms of commercial gyms but way way too much dead space, not enough equipment to service the foot fall at prime time.
Seen a few people whip tops of in the middle of the gym a few times, i mean i'm all for checking out the pump after a session but do it in the changing rooms haha either staff ain't noticed or DGAF.
please please get some more machines and equipment in, get that dead space cut down.
One major positive i have noticed, whenever a machine or piece of equipment is out of action, it isn't out of action long before being repaired.
No star reduction, just typical commercial gym but very easily improvable.
Recently joined this gym due to work relocation, been at various throughout Sheffield over the years, pures, gym groups, S20 and i'd say this gym beats the gym groups and pure gyms. Nice and clean, changing rooms were in good clean condition. Equipment wipes available. The gym itself is big, plenty of free weight benches and decent selection of free weights.
More than enough squat/power racks.
slight downsides in my opinion:
As people have mentioned before the code only working once a day could be a problem for some.
Too much dead space, could probably have a reorganisation and free up tons of space.
Not enough back machines or leg presses for how big the gym is. 1 leg press, 1 pendulum and 1 hack isn't enough for the size and footfall of the gym.
It'd be awesome if they invested in some hammer strength or similar style equipment. would caputre some serious market share then!!!
Overall a solid gym just needs a few tweeks and upgrades here and there.

I’ve only been a member for about a week, so this is an early review, but so far I’m really impressed. The gym itself is lovely, there’s loads of equipment, plenty to do, and for the price you pay the quality of the facilities is genuinely great.
The only reason I’ve knocked off a star is due to the class system. At the moment there’s no way to book onto classes in advance you just turn up and hope for a space. With the spin classes especially, I’ve arrived 15 minutes early on two occasions and most of the bikes were already taken with people’s belongings. I can imagine that during busier months like January and February it’ll be even harder to get into popular sessions. A simple pre‑booking option would make a huge difference.
Also, the ladies‑only area is a nice addition, but it is quite small and can feel crowded with just a handful of people. It’s optional, so not a major issue, but worth mentioning.
Overall though, it’s a great gym with brilliant value for money I’m enjoying it so far and hoping the class system might be improved in the future.

It’s annoying that you got locked out of the gym if u step out for a sec the QR scanner won’t allow u in anymore and for the fact that no staff around to even help out makes it extremely annoying being locked out 😡

The convenience of the gym is it is open 24 hours. Also the gym is well equipped and clean.

You struggle to find the staff , not always in the office you wait for about 15min not attended.

The only thing I have to complain about is that on Saturdays and Sundays, when the locker room door closes so early, you should have given some kind of warning so that we would know or seen a small piece of paper near the door. No one even pays attention to it. You should be more careful.

The gym is huge and it has a lot of equipment however there are too many people for you to be able to actually exercise. There are also many unsupervised children (there is not another word for these boys) who will use equipment and leave it wherever, not looking after the gym for others and being disrespectful. There are also some creepy men who just won't leave you train without trying to get you to talk to them, it's simply disgusting. I've been there twice and I already don't want to go again and it's a shame because the equipment is awesome. I wish they just limited who can access the place, even if this involved paying more monthly which I'd be happy to do so.

The facility is decent.
But the access code only works once a day.
What do they expect the members to do who train a couple of times in a day (specifically, when no staff is available to provide manual access)?
So, be ready to be stuck in such situation (unless someone sensible in the management reverses this unreasonable policy).

Not enough equipment for the amount of people in the gym, lots of empty space that could be utilised

I attended for the second time and this time being on an evening peak time, to find that many of the running.machines weren't working, no signs on them warning they were out of operation, only 1 ski erg in the gym of which the screen wasn't in operation

Negatives-QR code in app works on and off while trying to enter/exit the gym, only found 2 rowing machines and one the screen was broken, machines like chest press, leg press, lathe pulls, bicep extensions etc there is only one of each so you can’t do a routine you have to use what is available,no coat hooks inside shower cubicles so everything you take off you have to hang over the top of the door before you take a shower, lighting throughout the gym is quite dark.Only been twice so far so there’s room for more minuses.
Poitives-excellent parking, plenty of it,locker/changing rooms are great, showers are red hot and ample space inside(just know where to hang your clothes you take off),loads of free/loose weights, excellent water station and hand wipes for cleaning down machinery, never seen so many treadmills, could loose 4/5 and put more rowing machines in?,apart from that I’ve only been a member for a week, swapped from local sports centre because it was too busy after recent refurbishment, hope this doesn’t end up the same!,it was manic on Monday night after the weekend😳.
