I like the gym a lot more machines lists of space much better and enjoy coming to do my work out

The gym doesn’t encourage more than one workout in a day. JD gyms have a one time entry per day.

Good selection of machines and more than enough gym equipment and space

Full of chavs and people looking at themselves in the mirror. I only come to use the treadmills when it really cold out. Terrible place full of awful people.

Only allowed access once per day. Could not gain access to return for an item accidentally left in changing area.
Lots of equipment warn or missing such as handles and hand grips.
No gym users returning weights. Have to walk around looking to find weights left all over.
Overall, large gym, lots of space good selection of machines, just needs attention.

I like the gym, good range of machines plenty of space. The only thing in my opinion that is missing is them large exercise balls. I can't understand how come they don't have it around the gym for people to use.

Really nice gym very friendly staff members including cleaners very helpful to point you in the right direction.

Machines are always broken and take ages to fix. Too many treadmills and not enough up to date machines for weight lifting.

Shower floors are disgusting, they’re not properly cleaned for. They should be bleached at least every week to prevent the yellow colouring. But they’re not. Many of the showers don’t have hooks.
Many lockers are broken and the gym does lack quite a bit of equipment.
Considering how many users use the gym and the prices of the passes - this is unacceptable.
edit: I have since messaged the team, there hasn’t been anything done yet.
- cancellation of memberships is also unnecessarily difficult.

Been a regular for over 3 years, 3-5 times a week. Good selection of machines although the upright electric bikes are temperamental and pedals slip on higher resistance. Lots of great weight and resistance kit though.
They've recently stopped providing tissue and spray to clean machines after a sweatty session - yuk.
Music is now at the point of driving me elsewhere! Like me, most people bring earbuds to listen to their own. You'll never find music that everyone likes but it's played so loud that it interferes with my own music and I have noise cancelling earbuds. Changing room banter is spoiled because it's so loud. We've repeatedly asked for the volume to be reduced. Sometimes staff do but only lasts a few days before someone thinks the place is a night club not a gym. If people want loud music to work out to and stop them falling asleep (!) then let them bring their own headphones/earbuds but don't force us all to compete with the noise.

Been going to this gym for 2 years but have now cancelled my membership. The machines are constantly broken and take weeks to fix. The quality of the machines are not that great and they are never cleaned. Toenail clippings on the cool down mats 🤢. Also, a lot of the members just don't have any respect for other people there or the equipment. Leaving benches dripping with sweat in peak times and not even attempting to clean them and the open drug deals that happen there quite a lot too. Signed up for a cheaper 24 hour gym 1 minute away.

The gym itself is fine—good equipment, clean space, helpful staff—but the Wi-Fi is unusably slow, which seriously impacts the experience. Since it’s in a basement, there’s no mobile signal and no reliable data, so you’re completely dependent on the gym’s internet—and it barely works.
Whether you’re trying to stream a workout, follow a fitness app, or even just play music, you’re out of luck. In 2025, a gym without working internet is like a treadmill with no power: it’s there, but you can’t really use it.
If you rely on tech to train, this will get frustrating fast. A fix would go a long way.

I haven't been to a gym in 9 years. I asked for someone to refresh my memory with the machines and this was provided by one of the PT's who was very helpful.

I like the space, and I love the women's only section for something more private and quiet.
I just wish y'all had a swimming pool that would make it all perfect. 😄

The ladies only section doesn't have many machined more weight bars, can we get a leg press in there

Half the equipment always broken. The doors look like you are entering a prison and take ages to open/ cause a queue. Took over 17 days to cancel my request to end my membership and conveniently actioned the day after payment had come out meaning I had to pay an extra month.
