I am 74 year old and my daughter supervises me at the gym. On my registration, I was told she will be allowed to come in and help me but will have to be filling out the health and safety form. This is the thirds time we came after registration and she got turned away. We asked if an instructor can train with me while my daughter waits outside and the manager refused. He advised that we cancel my membership. This is sad.

Great gym
Great gym got loads of equipment and genuinely no downsides. Has a sauna which I have never seen be full and unlike many other gyms has a t bar row which is a massive bonus. The 16+ requirement is abit annoying for anyone under 16 which I have experienced first hand but is a gym I would recommend switching to when the age requirements are met or just for anyone over 16. Workers are very helpful and make the experience better and keep the gym very tidy. Overall best gym I’ve ever been to and would definitely recommend to anyone who currently goes or anyone that wants to go to the gym as it has friendly prices, many facilities, friendly workers, loads of classes on offer and is open 24 hours a day.

Great gym, very stylish interior not too bright and in your face like others. Very state of the art equipment and a wide range of it too.

Gym is great
Gym is great, clean, comfortable and well equipped. The only place in the men's changing room to shave has a mirror with the urinals directly behind which is not ideal for shavers or people peeing. A little bit more thought would have went a long way. Small price to pay for what is otherwise a brilliant gym.

Gym is brilliant has everything it needs to have a brilliant work out however the only downside is the lack of staff controlling the amount of kids that come into the gym and continue to stand around machines trying to use them without actually using them

Checking for suitable Equipment
Went early so I could see the gym for the first time. I suffer from arthritis in my knees so I found a few machines I can use and a few I couldn't. Aim to slowly build the strength in my legs for future knee replacement operation

So far, so good!
So far, so good, just completed first week of membership. My first 2 classes at Sunderland were definitely 'high volt' and looking forward to using the gym equipment which all looks very new. Bring it on!

Fantastic gym
Very Clean, friendly and relaxed environment, enough equipment for everyone, everything racked away, vending machines, one table and chairs, large locker room, bring your own padlock, well set out and clean, no punch bags, overall the best gym I’ve used in a long time
