The gym is absolutely brilliant
The gym is absolutely brilliant. Loads of equipment. Great for me because i can use it all over the country has i work away from home. But the sunderland one very spacious and friendly staff.

Fab Gym
I rather like JD gyms it’s clean , spacious enough, changing rooms are clean . I wish I left pure gym sooner. Have recommended my friends to JD and some of us have a snap chat chats on progress . Great place to go . The only thing I don’t know is how to book on a class as the app shows when classes are running but doesn’t say if you just turn up or arrange a booking. I would like JD app to also have something on to show how many times you attend and log the progress of your workouts.

I've rejoined this gym having been to…
I've rejoined this gym having been to others for the last 12 months as I like to move around. So far it's ok, a little too busy at peak times but planning on going later in the summer. It's clean enough for me, the opening times are good as is the price. It could definitely benefit from another Smith and cable machine and a heavier dumbbell rack upstairs.

Great gym
Great gym, very spacious, lots of equipment and classes to choose from.
One bit of equipment I'd like to see is the assault bike and a few more classes on late morning.

A good gym and fitness area with lots of variety, however it’s age is starting to show with wear and tear on most benches and cable machines padding and numerous electronic cardio equipment not operating correctly. Will need to improves otherwise newer gyms will take more customers

W cleaner, 3am and he’s as happy as can be. Normal staff are great too, but that cleaner is unmatched and shouldn’t be overlooked in the review. Give bro a pay rise

Men room and the toilet smell awful
The gym n the staff quite nice but unfortunately the men changing room smells horribly bad because of the toilets,it need a very strong proper extractor fan to suck the smell out of the room with the air cleaner
