I enjoy JD Gyms, I have been training here since it was Xercise for Less. There is a variety of equipment and plenty of space. However, I have noticed the class schedule has been reduced.

Changing rooms SHOULD NOT LOCK AT NIGHT every other gym I've been to leves them open overnight I no the gym is new to 24hr operations but locking the changing rooms is unacceptable especially given the very little warning

1. The equipment is good quality but no PTs or anyone around if you have any issues with anything 2. the equipment is way to close together there’s no personal space between anything 3. the setup is very strange 4. It’s constantly busy which means hanging around and a lot of waiting I gave up and went home early because of this 5. Weights are thrown everywhere and never put back near the racks, found myself hunting around for weights after every set.

Gym can be overly busy at times I would expect to be quiet so sometimes I don’t get to use the equipment I would like to.

I joined a week ago and visited Swansea gym three times. Pleased with the cleanliness of the place, plenty of equipment and clean changing rooms. Friendly atmosphere. Really enjoy the place. No frills, just the kit you need for a good sweaty workout.

I've been really impressed with the gym facilities at JD Gyms in Swansea. The atmosphere is welcoming, and I feel motivated every time I walk in. The staff have been incredibly helpful and friendly, making me feel comfortable as a newcomer especially the manager Yogesh I love his presence and he is motivating throughout my regular basis. I've tried out a few classes, and they've been challenging but enjoyable. The equipment is top-notch and always available when I need it. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my experience at JD Gyms and would highly recommend it to others

First time I went the class I was going to go to was cancelled, no warning, no message on the app, no one came and told us. The coach just never turned up.

Great gym, easy atmosphere and open access to classes of all shapes, sizes and abilities .

There’s been no aircon in the gym in Swansea for way over a year now. Every time someone complains it’s just ignored and we get told “head office won’t do anything about it”.
How can you run a gym without air conditioning as 1. It’s not healthy, especially when people are sweating in there and doing classes and nearly passing out from the heat.
2. It’s dangerous as there’s buckets everywhere with water leaking from the aircon units in the ceiling.
You're charging people a membership fee for an unhygienic and dangerous gym.
Surely you can’t leave it like this for another year?
Something needs to be done about it!

all the changing room it closed and the gym it’s open 24/7 doesn’t make any sense if you can’t run the gym 24/7 don’t

Timely update for class schedule. Sometimes it’s being updated an hour ago which brings uncertainty.
In case class is cancelled, must be updated on app. A red colour flag shown cancelled or remove from schedule.
Few machines are out of order.
Very few classes on weekends :(

The equipment was worn and not very welcoming. I will not be renewing after the first month

Good space and atmosphere in the gym. Machines not bad but could be better. Need to use app to enter as number passcode did not work.

I love coming to this gym, the staff are friendly and classes are great however the majority of the time there isn't enough staff to make it a comfortable place to be, today I came in to the weights section (near the smith machines) two very loud guys come in, one sits on top of the weights and obnoxiously talk almost shouting at each other, of course they have every right to be there but not on the weights, it made me very uncomfortable as one was sitting on the weights I needed and I didn't feel safe or happy being there in all honesty. I had to go to the other side of the gym and find alternatives, it's been a lot like this lately, even in the early mornings there are weights left absolutely everywhere, people don't care, I go to use the smith machine a lot and most of the time it has been left with over 20kgs each side and a bench in the middle which I have to move. With no staff around, people just don't care, it's not an inclusive place to be and I shouldn't have to shun myself to the tiny women's only gym room to feel comfortable

First visit yesterday. Could not get in, no staff to be seen. Somone advised me I needed my phone. I don't want to take my phone to the gym.
I got in, where are the changing rooms, again there are no staff. I have no idea of emergency exits or procedure.
Lockers, you need your own lock, you should of outline this, before I'd got there.
I went to look for someone to show me how to use equipment. I asked about 25 people, no-one had seen anyone ever, one member had been there for 6 months. I felt lost and embarrassed I was standing around, someone advised knock the private doors, no-one answered.
Surely I should know the fire policy and safety of equipment. No signs to show where the water machine was. It was an hour of hell looking like a fool.
Leaving I had no idea how to get out, there were no signs by the barriers, kids hanging around the entrance area, were actually laughing at me. I had to wait till someone was leaving to ask, it was as simple as scanning the QR code again but there should be a sign. I reluctant to go back, I expected more, who has a gym with no staff on the floor to help people.

Was my 1st time at the gym this week and it has so many equipment for everyone it's amazing and so glad I have joined

Clean facilities. Good price with offer. However, can’t rely on the class timetable as not all run - asked member of staff if there is a way of knowing if a class is not on but they said it’s out of their control. Also alot of machine are out of order or not working properly… I.e treadmills. Leaving after the one month offer.
