Conveyancing Service

I recently instructed JMP for a Buy to Let property purchase and while the purchase was completed, I could not recommend this firm to anyone looking for accuracy, efficiency or a personal service, neither would I consider JMP for future property transactions. Being concerned about the poor level of service provided I raised a formal complaint. JMP subsequently required fourteen weeks to process what I consider to be a relatively simple matter and characterised their delayed response as “slight”!! Needless to say, I was not satisfied with the content of JMP’s final response and the matter has now been referred to the Legal Ombudsman for investigation. By way of providing some context to my criticism of JMP, since 2015 I have purchased six properties and sold two using mainly online conveyancers, all of whom performed comparatively well and without any form of complaint (verbal or written) being necessary.

No confidence in JMP for conveyancing.

I contacted JMP for conveyancing by phone on the 23/2/21 and followed up with an email later that day. I received no confirmation or reply so a few days later I called and was told they would call me back. Another week and nothing so I called this morning and asked to speak to a practice manager. I have now received an email telling me they have no capacity and wish me well with my purchase. For a professional firm of solicitors this is totally unacceptable. I leave you to make your own mind up.

I panicked when it came to a family law…

I panicked when it came to a family law issue and walked in off the street literally quite distraught wanting advice desperately. Luckily Neil Remnant was available at the time and from that moment on put me at ease. No nonsense, straightforward approach but with understanding. From beginning to end of issue he was there and communications were good. Would always recommend Neil, no question.

JMP Solicitors are the best personal…

JMP Solicitors are the best personal injury solicitors out there my partner was hit by a taxi nearly 4yrs ago and at every opportunity the defendant tried lying about the accident. JMP Solicitors proved they were at fault and got him a substantial payment from the defendant we will pass there name on if I know of anyone who had an accident. The solicitors are amazing and are really there for the client and they really know what there doing thank you so much for your help

Approachable and helpful staff

I came in to do my will and had little knowledge on the best approach, Emily offered me great advise which left me reassured that my family would be provided for. I found Emily very approachable, friendly and extremely helpful. I would recommend her services to others after my experience.

I recently used the Will services at JMP & I was very impressed with how efficient and professional the team were.
Everything was made easy for me, I was listened to and nothing was too much trouble when I asked for amendments to be made. The whole process was very slick.
I would highly recommend JMP and would without question use their services again in the future.

I don't recommend these solicitors at…

I don't recommend these solicitors at all. Very poor communication all throughout my case. They dragged over 3 years and had failed to collate the necessary evidence in the meantime and had not kept us in the loop. Complete waste of time

We can see that during this 12 month period we obtained, and paid for, a police report, a medical report and your Barrister’s advice in an effort to establish liability on your behalf. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts the specific circumstances surrounding your claim led us to conclude that we could not continue to fund your claim and proceed to Trial. We have addressed these points in some detail with you on several occasions but genuinely apologise if our explanation could have been made clearer. We note that we had spoken to your Firm on numerous occasions and we were advised that payment would be forthcoming. Unfortunately, when we were paid the Bank refused to accept the payment so we were again forced to chase for a repeat payment which was eventually paid by you almost 22 months after we had been instructed. We obviously apologise if us chasing for payment became more assertive but you will appreciate that given the lapse of time and the issue when payment had been received we did have concerns coupled with the usual pressures placed upon businesses due to late payments.
