Where to start.
We cannot thank John and Warren enough for capturing our day so perfectly on camera and video. We first met John at Blackstock Farm wedding fair and from that moment he couldn't have been more friendly and helpful answering the many questions we had.
A few weeks before the wedding we had a video call with John to discuss timings of the day and what we wanted photographed. On the day John was very organised and efficient, making sure we didn't spend the whole day posing for photos. So many guests commented on how great John was.
We are so pleased with all of the photos and the video. It was the best decision choosing John and Warren to capture our day, we cannot recommend them enough

We couldn’t have chosen a better photographer than John to capture our special day. Recommended by our venue Deans Place and we know why. John was excellent from the moment we first booked him until we collected our photo book. He guided us both through the day, even keeping us calm when we had those nervous moments and for my wife knowing when she needed a few moments to herself.
John captured our wedding day perfectly including those natural moments when our guests didn’t even know they were being photographed. The quality of the photos are superb which our guests have also commented. We found it difficult to choose just 50 photos for our photobook which is of excellent quality and such a wonderful memory allowing for us to look back on our day. Thank you, John you are a very talented photographer and we are both grateful you and captured our special day.

There aren't enough words in the English language to say how amazing John is and how thankful we are to him! He was amazing from first making contact with him until today when we picked up our photo book. He is so lovely, relaxed and fun. All of our guests have commented on how lovely John was and how amazing the photos are. There's so many photos where we're looking at them saying "I didn't even realise he was taking photos there!" Truly a professional, and I think the fact 100% of his reviews are positive speaks volumes. And if you're unsure of spending the money on a photo book, do it! We were on the fence, but decided to go ahead, and after receiving it today, we're so happy we did! Thank you so much John!

What can we say, we don’t even know where to start. From when we first met John (at a wedding fair) till we received our finished images John was always there, happy to answer any questions, so friendly, professional, helpful, knowledgeable. He made us feel at eases.
The actual wedding day, wow John was amazing, he knew exactly what to do, where to be, in a way it was like he wasn’t even there but still a managed to capture every special moment. Checking on us that we were ok. He photographed every little bit of detail, his pictures are truly amazing, wonderful, looking through the photos is like we are reliving our whole wedding day!

John was worth every penny and more ! Couldn’t recommend him enough.

John was recommended to us by our wedding venue The Ravenswood. We had an initial meeting via zoom where we got to know each other and went over all our requirements for the day and I knew instantly that he was a hit and that we would get on. He made us both feel very much as ease.

On the day he guided us, reassured us, made us and all of our guests feel so very comfortable. We had the most amazing comments from all of our loved ones and friends. Many laughs were had along the way. Our day was truly magical and John was a very big part in making that happen.

As for the finish photos – wow! wow! wow! They are stunning and such a mixture of chosen shots and natural shots. I can’t help but keep sharing them with everyone. He captured our day beautifully and we both thank you from the bottom of our hearts for that.

John was amazing from the beginning of process until the end. From touching base with him and seeing what packages were available to having a call before the big day and making sure everything we wanted to be captured was on the list. The day itself was great - John was on the ball and had timings down to a T to allow us to just enjoy the day. He knew the venue very well and was a pleasure to spend time with. We felt completely comfortable during the whole process.
We have recently received out photos and they amazing! Such good quality and so many great shots. How we are supposed to pick a small number for prints etc is going to be a real challenge! Currently narrowed it down to 250 favourites!

John - thank you so much for sending through the photo gallery of our Wedding Day, the pictures really are amazing.
Having looked at a few wedding photographers before making our decision, we did also take into account the fact John is recommended by The Ravenswood, which helped sway our decision. We weren’t disappointed! John made everything so easy and straightforward, something that is vital during the build up to a wedding. The first online meeting that we had with him reinforced to us that we had made the correct decision, as he immediately put us at ease with his humour and professional approach.
On the day, he was a pleasure to have around. It never felt like we were under pressure at all, despite the fact that trying to keep track of our family and friends is like herding cats! He also has such a brilliant knowledge of The Ravenswood that he knew exactly where to take us for the best shots. The advanced warning of a change of shoes (or wellies for our day) was also extremely useful!
John has a great working relationship with the other suppliers, which makes the day even more stress free.
John is a complete professional, keeping us both calm and relaxed throughout the day and we both had such a laugh with him too. We really could not recommend him highly enough, and the photos he took of our day will provide us with so many amazing memories.

John, you were amazing – Thank you so much!!! I am super awkward when it comes to photos however, you made it easy. When we saw the sneak peak images we were over the moon, in the words of a relative “I would have said this was out of a bridal magazine”. Your organisation was brilliant, you made us and our guests (we had a number of lovely comments) feel at ease and took us to fantastic spots within the grounds but, most of all we want to thank you for guiding and prompting us with what to do – we didnt have to worry about anything. We are so excited to see the full album. Thank you again!!

What can I say?? John is an absolute pleasure to work with! He is the epitome of professionalism and expertise. Right from the start, he exceeded our expectations. He was very organised, he kept us on the loop all the time about what's gonna happen next. He was ever so helpful with the little hiccups and details like when I said we had to skip the confetti shots as our confetti did not arrive on time, and yet he was able to find a way to make it happen. We cannot thank you enough for that. We had an amazing confetti shot!

Anyway, moving on his keen eye for detail created our stellar wedding photos! The only challenge now is choosing the best photos out of the best! 😊

He made it easy for us to relax and just go with the flow. It just felt effortless on our part. To be honest, we didn't have any idea or vision of how the photos would come out. We just knew we chose him amongst the several others and we trusted his skills and abilities, and voila! the photos came out stunning! It seemed like magic!

We were glad to have had you John as part of our special day and for capturing the magical moments we will forever treasure. Thank you.

We honestly cannot recommend John enough, he is incredible at what he does.
It was a big decision for my husband and I choosing a photographer for our wedding as we both usually hate being infront of the camera so it was so important for us that we had somebody that could make us feel at ease and comfortable and be able to enjoy being photographed; we can 100% say we made the best decision choosing John!
He exceeded all of our expectations and made us feel so calm and relaxed, our guests also spoke so highly of him and said how lovely he was!
I was worried that having someone photographing us the entire day may possibly feel a bit intruding but honestly you wouldn't have even known he was there most of the time, in a good way! He was so reassuring checking we were both ok throughout the day and when he took us to have our couple photos taken he made us feel so relaxed and at ease and we honestly can't thank him enough, we wish we could do it all over again!
The evening of our wedding John had already uploaded 11 photos as a preview and we love them all, we cannot wait to see the rest of them!
We won't hesitate to recommend John to anybody looking for a photographer, he really is brilliant.

From start to finish you made us feel at ease. You guided us and went above and beyond for all of our wedding party, guests and us. There was so much going on yet you remained calm and composed the entire duration of our day.

We really can't express enough how lucky we feel to have had such an amazing photographer capture the biggest day of our lives. I know there were a few occasions where things didn't run to time or chaos going on around us but you never let us feel like anything was too much.

Our photos came back really quickly so we could revel in the moment all over again. Genuinely this wouldn't have been the success it was without you. You are a real gem in your industry and we can't recommend you enough. We will be telling everyone we know about you.

I followed John on Instagram and admired his work before I was even engaged. When we got engaged and looked at suppliers.. I knew we had to have John as our wedding photographer. We had a call to discuss pricing etc and John was so friendly and helpful… got off the phone and we booked him straight away. John is quick to respond to emails/messages.

John is extremely professional and was great at organising our shoots on the day. I was put at ease in the getting ready room, I didn’t even have to think about what was going to be happening as John has his whole day planned out and we don’t have to think about times etc.
It was a pleasure having John be our photographer at our wedding, our guests commented on how lovely he is! His work is incredible and he is such a wonderful person to be around, he makes having photos taken a fun and enjoyable experience.
It rained on our wedding day but John put us at ease ensuring us we’d get amazing photos… and we really did. He went above and beyond for us to ensure we got shoots in places we wanted even with the weather not being on our side.
After working such a long day John went home and edited 5 photos that evening so we could see some without having to wait.
They were incredible and I couldn’t wait to see the rest.
We didn’t have to wait long for our photos to be ready… and they did not disappoint. I cried when we looked through them, they are perfect. They capture the day and they bring back the magical feelings we felt on the day. Everyone has commented on how amazing they are!

We researched so many photographers and we are so pleased we chose John.

We had a video call prior to our big day and John gathered various information from us to ensure our day ran smoothly.

John is not only professional but also very down to earth. He puts everyone at ease, even the people that don’t particularly like their photos taken. He captures so many natural photos and knows how to get people to pose naturally.

John had a great knowledge of The Ravenswood where we got married, so he knows the best places for those wonderful photo shots.

Our wedding day ran smoothly thanks to John keeping us to our timings and adjusting things when needed. Nothing was too much trouble and he engages with all the guests.

When our photos arrived we found it very hard to choose which pictures to place in the album as so many to choose from.

Everyone has commented how amazing the photos are and we couldn’t agree more.

Can't recommend John enough. He was very organised & coordinated and definitely knows his way around a Wedding, helping with arranging things while capturing lots of lovely photos for us to treasure. We heard lots of good things about John from our other suppliers before booking him and can say that he certainly lived up to expectations. We also had lots of positive comments from our guests saying how good John was at arranging the group shots. All of our pictures look very natural and turned out just how we wanted them to.

As an older couple getting married for the second time, getting a good photographer was top of our list and John did not disappoint, he was incredible.
We got engaged during covid and also decided to get married in a county about 2 hours or so from home. Once we decided this our next task was to try and find good and reliable suppliers local to our venue and we didn’t realise just what a task that would be .
I joined lots of wedding planning facebook sites and trawled through lots of websites and what felt like hundreds of photographs and reviews but was still undecided . Then I came across some of John’s photos and was instantly taken with how stunning they were . I searched for his facebook page and then started following him on facebook and Instagram to see more of his amazing work and showed it to my fiancé. He was so impressed with John’s work that he decided John was the only photographer he wanted and our search was over. We then contacted John to see if he had our date available and luckily for us he did so we set up a zoom call . The zoom call was amazing with John being so friendly and we then arranged to meet John in person at the first post covid wedding fair that he was attending. As soon as we met John he made us feel so relaxed about the whole thing and we booked him.
On the wedding day John made us feel so comfortable and there was so much laughter which he captured in so
many ways . It was like having your own personal wedding co-ordinator and photographer rolled into one. John organised the guests and got them where we wanted them to be in his calm relaxed and friendly manor . Many of our guests commented on what a lovely person he was.
His photos were absolutely amazing and he captured so many moments in his photos that we would never have seen if he’d not been there .
If you are thinking about booking John for your wedding I wouldn’t hesitate I’d just go ahead and do it. You will have the most amazing, talented and friendly photographer who will leave you with stunning memories of an amazing day. We cannot recommend John and his incredible talent enough and will be forever grateful for the memories he has given us of our amazing day.

John is an amazing photographer! As a wedding supplier I have seen first hand of his exceptional photography talent! I have been lucky enough to work with him on photoshoots and the photos are always stunning and creative. John is also the loveliest guy and really cares about getting the "right shot".. he is an utter credit to his industry; and the photos speak for themselves. In fact, I have worked for couples that have changed their wedding date to secure him for their wedding photography! (and once you see his photos.. you will see why!). Highly recommended.

Where do I start with John. What an incredibly talented photographer!! Myself and my husband can not thank John enough for the amazing photographs from our Christmas wedding a couple of weeks ago. Having got engaged in the midst of Covid and then booking a venue out of our home county, one of our biggest challenges was choosing our suppliers. Covid meant no wedding shows and no face to face meetings. With that being said John was our venues recommend photographer and he definitely did not disappoint. I instantly started following him on Instagram and everytime I saw a post from a Wedding at the Ravenswood I just knew I needed to book him. With over a year and a half until the wedding and having never even spoke to John we just went on his website and booked. The process was seamless by the way. John then reached out and explained what happens next and never once did I have any concerns, I just knew this was the right choice. I continued to follow his Instagram and I advise any Brides to be to do so because you will honestly get butterflies everytime you see your venue photographed (it's great for photo inspo too). In the lead up to the wedding we have a zoom call with John to discuss all the special and important specifics of the day, we had quite a few but again felt at Ease, John even took on board my planned 4 shoe changes!! We had a timeline to work towards on the day it made everything fall into place. On the morning of the wedding John did his thing, and he did it brilliantly. As a bride, this is usually the most stressful time of day, and I barely noticed John was there, but I had every faith that he was capturing all the special moments and to be honest when we received our photos I was in awe of how many moments he did capture. The funny thing with weddings is the Bride has no idea what her Groom is up to and visa versa, so going through the photos not only helps you to re live the day but also makes you feel like you were there for all of the moments, this was one of my favourite things. For us, one of the most important things was how well John knew our venue, living further afield we had only been there a couple of times so when we went off for our couple photos it felt like we got to see and explore our venue for the first time and it was magical and it was all thanks to John knowing all the hidden and beautiful spots to take the most perfect photos. From start to finish John had us laughing, and he even helped me to carry the long train of my dress, a real pro who went above and beyond. Then to top if off, we received our photos much earlier than expected and just in time for Christmas. The best Christmas present we could have asked for. Thank you so much John for everything. There are not enough words to describe how incredible John is. From seeing all his previous work at The Ravenswood to our pre meeting to the big day, we knew we had chosen the best, and we were not disappointed. John made us both feel so at ease on the day, at times we barely knew he was there… but he was snapping away in the background capturing moments of the day that we missed. When it came to our couple photos, John had all the best ideas and knew exactly what we should do, as we were clueless. John was super nice and caring, with a great sense of humour, and great with all the kids in the chaos of us getting ready in the morning. Throughout the day, and after, the guests commented on how good he was. We honestly couldn’t fault John and his camera, and the best surprise was receiving our wedding gallery back after only 2 weeks!! It was the best surprise! The photos are truly amazing, and have honestly exceeded our expectations. He really did capture everything in our perfect day, and I have relived our day, every day since, through John’s photo gallery. Thank you so much!

My husband and I can not recommend John enough! We both hate having our photos taken, so the thought of having to have loads at our wedding was just terrible! But John made us feel so comfortable and relaxed. He made sure the pictures were suited to our personalities and was never pushy at all. He knew all the nest locations at our venue to take our pictures, and made sure there was plenty of time to get all the family photos too! Again, we can not recommend John enough!!
