Local Jollyes is very handy. They have started stocking more natural treats for dogs which is brilliant - they need to get rid of the rawhide though and expand their frozen food section.

“Disgusting Experience – Bags of Feed Infested with Bugs”
I had a shocking experience at Jollyes today (26/08/2025). I went in to buy chicken feed but since they didn’t have Layers Pellets, I purchased Mixed Corn along with a few other items.
When I got home and opened my boot, I was horrified to find the bag of Mixed Corn swarming with bugs that spilled out into my car. By the time I got my hoover to clear them, they had already crawled under the seats.
I phoned the store straight away and was told to bring the bag back. They replaced it, but after getting my car professionally valeted, I noticed more bugs crawling on the replacement bag as I was putting it back in my car. I returned it again. At first, staff refused to change it until I pointed out the bugs were clearly visible, at which point they reluctantly agreed.
When I asked if they would cover the cost of the car valet (which I only had to pay for because of their faulty product), they refused — despite having seen the state of the first bag themselves.
My only regret is not taking pictures in the moment, as I was too busy panicking about the bugs spreading across my car, which I also need for work.
The product quality and customer service were both appalling. I will not be returning to Jollyes and I strongly warn others to check what they are buying.
