When it came to buying furniture

When it came to buying furniture, Rob the sales person did not know anything about the leasing and would just guess. Spoke with Frank the manager, so rude that I never want to speak to him again. They didn’t let us know that the sales were final so they DID NOT let us cancel our order before it got there or they did not let us return the product regardless if anything was wrong with it. Literally takes 2 weeks to get furniture that’s “in stock”. Frank was just ignoring my questions and just repeating himself. He also asked my husband if I was on “meds” or “crazy. To me that’s very unprofessional for a manager. I bought same branded furniture at Big Lots, for cheaper, they were able to answer all my questions, customer service made sure they took care of everything and were not rude what so ever, and they kept me updated on my furniture or when it would be in stock. Best bet would be to go to Big Lots instead :)

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service and no communication. Was estimated 6-8 weeks for a couch and loveseat set. No one called and told about delay. Called numerous times to check and to cancel order. Items came into warehouse and they tried to make us pay for an item we never received and tried to cancel since it came 5months later than they told us.

Made a purchase of a coffee table last…

Made a purchase of a coffee table last year. Was told 6 to 8 weeks for arrival. 9 weeks later checked in for status. Was told it would be in store the following week. Told the same thing when I checked back a week later. Went in the 2nd week but no table. Was finally offered the floor model with a discount refunded back to me in the form of a check. Been over a year now. No refund check. Oh well. It's only money right??

I did business with JR furniture 7…

I did business with JR furniture 7 years ago and I'm just now getting an email asking me to review my recent purchase. The bed and pillow are still going strong though. The service there was great but the people who helped me probably don't work there anymore.

Worse experience ever!!!!

Worse experience ever!!!!! Quality of furniture poor, customer service was horrid it was like they were doing us a favor to be helping us. I will never purchase furniture from them or their affiliates ever in life.

JUNK

went to the store with my concerns about my purchase. they sent out a tech and he ordered parts for my couch, said it would be about 2 weeks before they came in. It has been several months and nothing. the couch is falling apart and it feels like I am sitting on the floor. I have owned this couch just over a year now. It started falling apart after about 4 months. will go to a thrift store next time I need a new couch.

Zero Stars - Stay Away - Record Any and All Interactions

If I could give a zero star rating, I would. The sales rep told us the mattress we wanted was on site and would ship from the store. Also, we were informed that we had 30 days to return the mattress for a full refund if unsatisfied. My significant other and I placed the order and selected a date and time for delivery.

After conducting additional research, as well as uncovering BBB and Consumer Affairs reports, we found out the mattress we ordered was not of the quality and standard the sales rep lead us to believe. In addition, we found out that JR Furniture has a history of placing every order as specialty orders, even for allegedly on site items, and specialty orders cannot be refunded or canceled.

We contacted JR Furniture customer service over the phone and they informed us our order was placed as a specialty order, that no products are available at the store, and the order could not be canceled or refunded. Also, all orders, even for products displayed in the store, are processed as specialty orders. As for our order, it hadn't been processed yet and the projected delivery date was 10 to 14 days past our scheduled date.

We returned to the JR Furniture store and confronted the manager about our order. A tense discussion took place with the manager initially claiming the product was on hand and available for pick up. When we divulged what customer service informed us, she initially said they were mistaken, which then changed to our order was already processed and shipped, which then changed to confirming everything customer service told us as well as admitting that the sales rep intentionally lied to us. She doubled down on saying refunds are not possible but we could swap for another product they had on hand in store. When asked if other products were actually on hand, she said yes, but changed the answer to no upon being pressed about it.

We issued a demand for order cancelation and a full refund. The manager said it was not possible. We informed her if she did not give us a refund, then our encounter with her would go on YouTube (as we signaled to the camera recording her). Upon realizing she was being recorded the whole time, she immediately canceled and refunded our order as well as apologized for the ordeal as long as we did not return to the store.

Stay away from JR Furniture. If you do go there, then Record Any and All Interactions.

Customer service at JR Furniture is…great!

Customer service at JR Furniture is excellent. My sleeper sofa purchased from JR a few years back needed repair and they researched the warranty and followed through on the repair. They were always available and pleasant even though this transaction did not result in dollars in their pocket. JR carries quality brands, including Stanton furniture, which is made in Oregon. I highly recommend JR Furniture.

Made me get warranty but when it…

Made me get warranty but when it actually broke a year and half later, they said it was a manufacturer defect and the warranty didn't cover it. Will never recommend JR Furniture to anyone!!!

Really bad experience they tell you…

Really bad experience they tell you when your furniture will arrive but if it doesn't arrive on time they tell you so many excuses and they tell you that they are not responsible about the furniture they end up giving me the money after fighting for so long waiting for the furniture.
