Foodpanda deleted me and my wife's accounts!

Was logged out of my account out of the blue. Could not log back in. Emailed support and 6 exchanges all replied by different agents with the same exact steps. One of the agents even directed me to foodpanda.my when I'm from SG. I had to use my wife's account to have a live chat, the agent said there was no other way besides DELETING my acc. End up BOTH our accounts got deleted and I've subscribed panda pro and had 5 months left. Gone. I'm disappointed beyond words. Never again will I use FP.

Just close your app

I am located at a specific side of my street where the only entrance is on one side of the street. I ALWAYS put in the instructions or guide that they should go through this one street in order to go to my pin because the other half of the street is not accessible to via vehicle. But for some reason, 70% of the foodpanda drivers that deliver to me always say that my pin was incorrect even though it is and when i correct them when i see their phone they aren't even apologetic.
Also every time i pick cash on delivery they always give me this BS about not having change. idk if they dont want bigger bills? or they are just lazy? Cause i seem to spot their fanny pack having more than enough for giving out change

I would pay via online but for some reason some of the affiliated restaurants and shops in foodpanda seem to mess up orders when it is paid online. And its stupid that i have to order another item from them with the same delivery fee just for them to send the missing item back to me (why am i the one being inconvenienced when i pay online).

FIX YOUR APP

why just why is this so bad, i found a voucher that applied to orders over 180 that lasted on fridays till 6-9 pm. this is the fridayfiesta voucher. i try everything to use this voucher in my order and it even says that the voucher is available for this restaurant. all the clauses were met for this order. one of the worst experiences I've had with ordering food, annoying. and why is there no option for vouchers on mobile either? foodpanda chittagong btw

Worst food app I ever had before. Never recommend to anyone who want to order food through this app. Order was cancelled after 1 hour after confirmation and it happened 4 times in a row in 10 days(14-24 oct 2021).

Poor service, no integrity

I ordered a delivery via Food Panda last week. The map location for my residence was inaccurate on their webpage, and I could not change it. So I sent a mss to the driver with my correct (and very well-known) location. The driver replied, saying it was out of his district. I contacted Food Panda about it, and their rep phoned me in a conversation that was hard for me to understand. Then an email from FP, saying it was not their fault, I had the wrong location inputted, and no food delivery, credit or refund was offered. I reiterated what happened and gave FP three working days to refund my payment before I dispute the charge with the bank issuing my credit card. I received another email from someone else at FP, saying we will not refund your payment. I responded again with the same, previous email. This process occurred three more times, before finally yet another FP rep stated that I woould get a refund within 3-5 working days. Then, another email from another person explaining I would not see a refund on my credit card until next billing cycle. I responded again with the same, previous email, giving them three working days to get the refund done. Ten days after the incident, the refund showed up on my credit card statement. Sloppy, unprofessional service!

Food Panda Zero Stars!

I would give them zero stars if I were allowed to. I made an order that was missing the main part, the chicken. So I get on the chat help line and tell them the problem, and request to have the chicken sent so that meal is complete. They respond saying the restaurant refuses to do it, this is after waiting over 25 minutes in chat. I then state I want a full refund and they are can pick up the rest of the meal that I have not touched (even sent them a photo showing this).
They say it "might not" get picked up, so I ask will it get picked up for return or not? They say that I can give the food away. I tell them I want a full refund, I am told I need to chat with someone higher up and please wait a few minutes, after a long wait they just ended chat without warning.
I then contact food panda in customer help chat again and told I will be contacted in 2 to 3 hours.
I believe they intend on not giving me a refund and will be talking to my credit card company about this charge. I went on to order dinner from another restaurant using Grab service.

Unethical algorithms

So I purchase from a certain store frequently and made sure to check that it was listed in FoodPanda Pro when I committed to an annual subscription. Lo and behold, after purchase of the Panda Pro, my favourite store disappeared from the list. I therefore now have to pay again for delivery from that specific store.

I understand that this is the best way to maximise revenue for Food Panda, since they're able to control what appears on your list, effectively raising prices for foods and stores which they determine you'll have "inelastic demand" for, but is annoying and unethical and deserves to be highlighted.

Unfortunately I failed to screen record my experience to show this magical disappearance (please do so if you decide to purchase, and share this with the media). I had other negative experiences related to the product and their unethical growth hacks. For example, I was about to purchase some items, and FoodPanda revealed discount vouchers that is X% if you hit a certain $Y in PandaMart (higher than my initial cart), but of course, the moment you take some time to add to cart and attempt to add the voucher, it states that the voucher is "fully redeemed". They hope of course that you'll just proceed to purchase the higher volume amount since you already wasted time to shop for these, and most people would. But since I knew this was likely a deliberate design choice from the Company, I abruptly quit the app. Of course a few days later, I started receiving the discount vouchers (the same "fully redeemed one) to urge me back to the app. In short the algorithms are designed to lower cost for non-engaged users, and increase costs for sticky, loyal users. It's smart, legal, but unethical.

I have no issues with the food stores or my experience on the app which is above average, but its a pity that the company only works to squeeze more money out of a potential long-term loyal customer. I hope it backfires on them.

fishing trash service with hair in it plus dumb refund, they could actually fail to deliver the first order, having me to wait for a whole hour only to have missing items on the 2nd order with a half ass refund, u can keep the fishing money and enjoy carrying on automated pre-typed replies when there is no more customers

Unethical Practise Foodpanda!

Ordered from Cahren Thai Food (Blk 684 Hougang Ave 8) via Foodpanda (FP) on 18th Sept.
(FYI, food quality is 2 stars.)
Missed a main rice dish order. I ran A from FP offers refund of price of item. Said no. They offered to add $3. We said no. Get the restaurant to send the item urgently as it is a main item. FP said cannot. Asked to escalate. We use FP so often, if not every day.

Atiqah (FP) reverts 3 hrs late to say only can refund for item.
Obviously Foodpanda do not appreciate and understand customer service (msg for Luc Andreani).
We do not negotiate the delivery price or price u list for items (which FP get a cut off). So when things go wrong (by ruining a customer's dinner), u have to take the responsibility.

Maybe u might want to learn from your competitor (Grab)!

Food Panda is a very convenient service for those who don't have time to cook or simply don't feel like it after a busy work day. 90% of the time, there are no issues and everything is fine but the other 10% of the time is EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING.
Having the driver drop off the food at the wrong location is a problem - they cannot send the driver back to deliver at the right location so the client is screwed and does not get his food.
Putting in an order that has (not sure why) automatic pick up (instead of delivery as wanted) and requesting cancellation within 30 seconds should automatically be accepted but it is not. The options to fix the problem again screws the client. A simple way of fixing this is to charge the difference for delivery and have it done. Everyone is happy and it is simple to do. BUT NO, this is not doable for some unexplained reason. Apparently restaurant cannot deal with a food panda guy receiving a pick up order instead of the client. Same order, same bag, same food, no difference. You guys really need to get your business hat on and focus on your client requests and needs instead of saying "we are following rules and regulations". Also, please stop saying that someone will be calling the client to resolve the situation when escalated because they NEVER do!!!

Haha, nice try. From a 130 Lei order they missed 2 positions for 40Lei. Insteed of delivery the missing positions to not be hungry anymore, the only refund it in 1-3 days!

You cannot imagine how horrible has been this Panda is sucking blood and flesh. I received machine and banner under someone's name. I did not register my outlet.
My effort to find out has been useless. When I email to customer service I was told to call 0162991414. But no one picks up calls.
You dont get second chance for first impression.
