Fantastic 10 Star service!!!!

Dear Daniele, I wish I could give a rating above 5 stars because you deserve it!

I wanted to share with you some good news as I eventually took up the case with the landlord by going through DPS dispute process. I was finally awarded my full deposit in January this year, minus the £80 which I had offered to pay for re-cleaning of the carpets. So I was extremely pleased with the outcome. Though it took a while but I got the victory I wanted in the end.

I wanted to personally thank you and the Justice4tenants team for the advice and support you gave me. I know I wouldn't have been able to reach my desired outcome without your valuable advice that gave me hope for a successful outcome. Thanks for all the work you are doing for other tenants in the same situation as me. It's really heartwarming to know that there is a service out there that can really help to fight the corner for tenants who often times get ripped off by the sheer injustice and greed of rogue landlords and estate agents. I got ripped off once because I didn't know my rights but vowed never to let it happen again so I'm grateful I found Justice4Tenants via an online google search.

It was taking close to 3 months to get my deposit back. I knew something was wrong. I really didn't know what to do anymore. I was being passed from pillar to post to get my deposit. I came across Justice for Tenants who really seemed to care and want to help me. They followed up with me on progress and were keen to know if it had been resolved. I contacted the landlord again and said I had contacted Justice for Tenants, and perhaps he did some research too. I then got a call from the landlord the next day who confirmed that he had released the deposit. If only I had told the landlord sooner, I probably would have got my deposit back sooner too. Thank you Justice for Tenants for your support, will definitely recommend to friends and family if they need help or advice.

The team at Justice for Tenants have proven to be invaluable.

My previous landlord did not provide the prescribed information for the deposit protection scheme. I have spent many hours calling organisations such as Shelter, Law Clinic, Citizens' Advice Bureau etc. in order to get some help evaluating if I have a claim. However the most help I got was a single email telling me to 'send a letter'. Most of them weren't willing to even look at the documents I had. I then contacted Justice for Tenants

Daniele and Alasdair have been brilliant. They responded to my emails very promptly and looked over all the documentation and proof that I have carefully. They then listed what I could potentially claim, what the process would entail and what the risks are. They answered all my queries and were very friendly. I would recommend them to any tenant who needs advice.

I got in touch with Justice for Tenants to get advice on how to reclaim my deposit. They assessed my case within two days and gave very detailed advice on how to take first legal steps. I wold absolutely recommend their services to anyone in the same position. Law can be daunting, but their advisors made it accessible and explained exactly where I stand and how to take first legal steps.

Contacted JFT after our landlord tried to charge us twice the amount of our deposit back. They were so supportive and helpful throughout the whole process and we won our case against out landlord and got our deposit back! Over the moon and could not have done this without their support! What an excellent organisation!

Clear, concise and informative information regarding the deposit process. I was given excellent advice from Daniele at Justice For Tenants when faced by spurious deposit deduction claims by my Landlord.

Daniele has kept in touch throughout the whole process, making sure we were in a strong position to get back our whole deposit from DPS.

I would advise all tenants to contact Justice For Tenants for advice and information.

The most helpful site I’ve ever found online, and the person we dealt with, Alasdair, was simply outstanding! He displayed great empathy and understanding and knowledge of this area, and was absolutely one of the only reasons we got almost our entire deposit back when, at one stage we had resigned ourselves to thinking the power was with the landlord...The power is not with the landlord and JFT will lay out the best plan of action if given enough background info

My entire experience with J4T was excellent. They were hugely supportive, professional, and responsive throughout the process, which reduced anxiety levels surrounding the issue I was having a great deal, and brought it to a settlement quicker than I ever could have managed alone. I would thoroughly recommend them.

I turned to JFT when I felt that my landlord via the management agency was dragging their feet about returning my deposit. Daniele was excellent in terms of advising me. Although the outcome was not exactly what I would have wanted in terms of me having to swallow the reduction and several underhand moves from the agent, in the long ruin, I felt it was easier to capitulate to be able to move on.
Daniele was prepared to go in for battle for with with the DPS because the letting company had provided the incorrect email initially and I never received my certificate.
I strongly recommend JFT if you are unsure about your rights.

I contacted justice for tenants as I was having issues getting my deposit back and my previous landlord, Rob Ware, is a con artist who refused any contact. Justice for tenants offered great advice and where in constant communication when going through the steps they advised. Daniele was especially helpful through the whole of my dispute. With her help and advice I managed to get my deposit back.

Applogies for the delay for submitting a review. I moved in July and it was taking ages to get our deposit back from the agent/Landlord.
The team were very helpful on advising me on next steps and stayed in contact during the whole process. For anyone who moves around on the renting market, this team are the people to talk to. We pay a lot of money up front to move. I was very delighted with this free service.

Absolutely amazed they were able to help considering our ex-landlady was trying anything to get away without paying our deposit back- as she had already agreed to but didn’t! It took months of hard work from these guys, at one point I even suggest they left it as it was so difficult, but they persevered and got us way more than we’d hoped for. Great people to deal with and they’ve actually saved us from cancelling Christmas! Brilliant Team and thank you to Matt for not giving up!

I was having problem getting the deposit back from the letting agent. I wasn’t quite sure how to deal with it or even where to start! I came across this website and read thought some of the reviews. I’m glad that I contacted them. My advisor Daniele helped me through each stage and took the time to access my case. I finally received my full deposit without proceeding legally.
If you’re having trouble getting your money back then I’d recommend justice for teneants. They are very competent professionals and will guide you through your tough times. Good luck!

I am happy to write a glowing reference for Justice for Tenants. I believe every tenant in the UK should know of the organisation and feel they can have somewhere to turn for advice if a situation does not feel legally right. I have just been through a scam from our previous lettings agents where we were being held liable against a 2014 inventory (not mentionned in contract) despite only having lived in the property for 5months in 2017 and left it in better condition than we found it in. After 2months of leaving the property we finally have our deposit back and Justice for Tenants -and Daniele especially - was on hand to help provide guidance and insight on our rights in relation to the contract and how to best deal with the scam. You never think you will be put in those situations (i have 8years of letting in london with no issues) but there are scheming letting agents out there unfortunately and I was grateful to have Justice for Tenants' support when I was faced with one.
