Justice for Tenants are an incredible free service for UK tenants. They helped me out immensely in getting my bond back. Their advice was invaluable and I was able to secure my entire bond back, in full, from my landlord who was withholding it for unknown reasons.

They are very helpful and provide really good advice. They answered all my questions instantly and were very professional. I'm impressed by the quality of this free service, I feel so much more confident since I spoke to them, I now know better how to deal with the issue with my landlord and I am so grateful justice for tenants are there to help in this frustrating process.

I was in contact with JFT over several weeks, and they were extremely helpful from the very beginning. They read through my documents to understand the case in depth, gave me detailed and very useful advice and followed up on progress. It was an excellent service and I highly recommend JFT!

l was really stressed out because l couldn.t get any advise from anywhere about my landlord not putting my bond into a deposit scheme because all the advise centres were closed because of lockdown.....then l heard about justice for tenants and rang them..The advisor was really helpful, listened patiently to my problem and then e.mailed me back straight away to confirm that they could help me...The relief knowing that l could get help was a great thing....Every email l sent was answered, the photo,s l sent to them were confirmed as received and my questions were answered assuring me they were ready to help me....As it turned out l didn.t need them as my landlord eventually returned my bond but i.m sure that if l had needed them their advise and help would have been continued....l would highly recommend justice for tenants and their advisors

I can not thank Justice For Tenants enough for the help and advice they have given me that ultimately saved me from a very difficult situation. To explain briefly, I had arranged with my agency/landlord to leave my tenancy after 6 months and have the contract changed over to another suitable tenant, whom I had already found. Everything was in place for this to happen on 18th March 2020, so on 10th March 2020 I entered into another agreement and moved to a new property and I made the agency aware of this. On 14th March 2020, the agency emailed the new tenant to confirm they were still OK for the changeover, to which they confirmed they were. However on 16th March 2020 the new tenant pulled out due to the COVID-19 crisis. When the agency came back to me asking for the rent (in just 2 days time!), I explained to them that I was already paying rent elsewhere and that I could not pay at this short notice. They ignored me. I found another replacement tenant and low and behold they pulled out again at the last minute. The agency showed me no sympathy and I felt at a loss. They refused to help me in anyway and just kept reminding me that I was liable. I had turned to Justice for Tenants in the middle of all this and they began advising me on things I could do to persuade the agency to release me from the contract and they were simply incredible. They found things I would have never been able to find on my own and guided me through the process of communicating those things to the agency, which resulted in my release from the contract with no liability to pay any rent from the point I moved out in March. This was such a massive weight lifted from my shoulders and left me in a much better position to get through this pandemic nightmare with a clearer, less stressed mind. JFT were always compassionate in their replies to me and considering everything going on in the world, prompt and professional with their responses.
If you ever feel stuck in a bad housing situation, I would highly, highly recommend getting in touch with the JFT team, it really could save you!

We are a group of students who had issues with our landlord. I contacted Justice for Tenants after being let down by numerous solicitors. The team at JFT were very client focused and made sure that we were aware of all our options and how the process work. This in turn made a normally very stressful and complex situation stress free. I honestly could not recommend JFT more, they took the time to explain all of our many questions and it is very evident through working with them that they are a passionate team of knowledgeable people who are very dedicated to helping people and through their hard work we were able to win our case. Great to know that a tenants rights service is around where they give the best advice and make sure you understand the Rent repayment procedure. From the switch board the actually adviser the level of service is 5*. Many thanks to Alasdair for your great advice and patience to ensure I understood how to deal with my landlords solicitor. I will be using Justice for Tenants again and will recommend anyone (tenants) who need that extra support.

Responded very quickly to my initial message - unfortunately there wasn't anything they were able to do regarding my case but Daniele set everything out very clearly in a friendly, helpful manner. I'd been going round and round in circles on my own for months before contacting Justice for Tenants, wish I had found them sooner.

JFT is our last hope in this environment where usually tenants are not equipped with enough experience or knowledge to deal with doggy landlords and foxy agents.
